Stumbled upon this place on yelp and was so fascinated that it's a solely ravioli shop that also served sandwiches. The place is a more casual place. You walk in, order and pay at the register, then find a seat. I love a good ravioli, but I found the ravioli here to be okay. The meat ravioli with bolognese sauce was better than the chicken ravioli with pesto. The meat ravioli with bolognese is a classic, so can't really go wrong there. However, I thought the chicken ravioli with the pesto sauce was salty and watered down. The chicken itself had a strong chicken flavor, which I'm not a huge fan of. It felt like chicken that was cooked and refrigerated for some time to me. To be honest, the best part of the dish was the garlic bread. I also tried a brisket sandwich, and found it pretty decent. It had a good amount of lettuce and meat and toasty Dutch crunch. Overall, I found this place average. Nothing really stood out to me, but nothing was that bad either. What a great discovery this past Tuesday! Yes, they sell raviolis with a variety of yummy flavors and fillings, including cheese, chicken, lobster, spicy sicilian sausage, and asiago & zucchini. But this place offers an extensive menu of sandwiches too, made with quality meats, cheeses, toppings, and unique spreads like jalapeno garlic sauce, basil pesto, and habanero italian. So many delicious options to choose from, and you can customize as you please. I got the combo sandwich plus added pastrami, on dutch crunch, with "everything on it" except no mustard or pickles. It was quite large in size and beyond satisfying, thick and flavorful slices of meat, and a generous amount of melted cheese and fresh veggies. Every savory bite was like heaven. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers during lunch time, but service was friendly and more than sufficient. And I was able to enjoy my meal in the outdoor patio on a beautiful sunny afternoon. They have a lovely indoor setting as well, with a good amount of dining tables. I recently visited Ravioli House for the first time. I had been wanting to check it out, and since I was in the area, I decided to stop by and give it a try. For my first visit, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was okay -- not bad, but not something that really stood out to me. To be fair, I honestly think I may have ordered the wrong item. After seeing some of the other dishes coming out, especially the raviolis, I realized that's probably what I should have tried. The ravioli plates looked fresh, well-portioned, and really appetizing. Next time, I'm definitely going that route. One thing I have to say -- the bread was hands down delicious. It tasted very fresh and had great texture. That was actually one of the highlights of the meal for me. You can tell they care about quality ingredients. Beyond the food, the overall experience was very positive. The customer service was great -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming, especially for it being my first time there. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. The location is convenient, and parking was easy, which is always a plus in this area. Even though the pulled pork sandwich just wasn't what I was personally feeling that day, I'm not knocking the place at all. Everything else about the experience was solid. After a short class, I was feeling hungry and saw this place that had great reviews on Google. Excitedly, my partner and I went to this store where the worker suggested the Mojo sandwich and the chicken ravioli with vodka sauce. After a short wait they brought out our food and it was pretty good. The sandwich had too much pulled pork(surprising problem), because it was the only thing you'd end up tasting. The ravioli, which should have been amazing, wasn't that great. The flavor was fine and it was cooked to an al dente texture, but the inside filling was just so crumbly. The texture was kinda unpleasant in this regard, but at least the flavor was good and the garlic bread was a 10/10. The sandwiches are as good as the ravioli, but I would probably pick the original ravioli over the pastrami sandwich by a hair. I love that they have dairy-free options. The price is actually really good for the Bay Area and the sandwich is huge. Next time, I want to get one of the raviolis because they look amazing. First off, all of the employees were so nice and patient with the 5 of us. There isn't much seating for bigger crowds, so be prepared to take your food to go. We came in and it was packed, but we got lucky that 2 tables left as we were ordering, so we were able to eat there. The chairs and tables need a little updating lol wobbly seats and tables. But whatever. It's a deli not a 5 star restaurant. We all got different raviolis and sauces to try. I loved everything!!!! If I had to rate them, I would say the 1. Chicken ravioli 2. Found this place through a friend's recommendation. Had a couple of ravioli dishes, a Pastrami Sandwich and a plate of Lasagna (although not on the menu but I saw it in their fridge and they were nice enough to make us a plate and it was great). Everything was great although it was too much for the 3 of us. We probably packed one plate of ravioli and half the Lasagna to take home. They also have freshly made ravioli, house sauces and deli meat available for purchase and we bought another 2 packs of ravioli and sauces and 1lb of the Pastrami to go. As a lover of all things sandwiches, I needed to check out one of the spots that was featured in the Top 10 Delis in San Mateo County! Found myself in the area, and decided to give it a go. I don't know why but I love sandwiches that feature chicken in it. Due to the fact that I have love/hate relationship with deli meats, chicken in between two pieces of bread just hits different. That being said, it was a no brainer to go with their 'Italian Chicken' toasted with no peppers on ciabatta. The taste of the homemade pesto is what stood out in the sandwich for me. The chicken/pesto marriage is always one of my favorites, and it didn't disappoint. They also put in a some prosciutto, which honestly I could have done without. It was a pretty salt-forward sandwich, and the saltiness of the prosciutto made it a tad bit too salty for me, which makes me regret not getting the peppers because I think it would've balanced it out. Since it was my first time, I ate it here, and I'm glad I did. The warmth toasty-ness of the ciabatta was perfect for a foggy day. Although it didn't look big. the portion size was would've been perfect to split in to two-meals if I ordered a side of salad or a bag of chips. I think for $11.50, it's a pretty good value for a well-built and tasty sandwich. The service was quick and prompt. It was slightly after the lunch rush, but they were able to get a hot and toasted sandwich out in less than 10 minutes.
