I didn't make it out to the physical junk yard, so this review is about the inside shop and customer service. This place was running on female power (at least when I was there)! It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were in search of a tire rim to fit a Pontiac Sunfire. There were quite a few customers shopping, so we had to wait about 10-15 minutes in line before we were helped. The lady was doing all the directing; also was the go-between for the workers in the yard and what customers were looking for. She was polite, had a good sense of humor, but she was also direct with her customers - a no bullshit type of gal :) Since one must sign a waiver, and all that jazz, to go out and find your part, Richy our friend did all the searching. Found a rim, unfortunately it still had an obvious-gashed tire still sealed to it. The gentleman behind the counter gave us the rim without charging for the tire (since it wasn't in good condition, and that's not what we were looking for anyway). Two girls that worked the registers stood there and talked to each other while i stood there to check out and didn't even acknowledge me standing right in front of them for at least a minute and a half. Charged 30 dollars more than i was quoted. Terrible experience. read more

You would pay a dollar to get in, an then they tell you what tools your not allowed to bring in even if my tools were already seen before signing in. The vibe of the place is not what it use to be. Like something out of a post-apocalyptic Mel Gibson flick, the lot at this junkyard/parts supplier was a wasteland/graveyard of deceased rides. Probably the place where you are least likely to find what you are looking for, it was by far the most fun to visit. Vehicles are propped up on old rims and look totally unsafe to be wrenching on from underneath...yet people do. It was also the busiest and most hopping of the bunch I visited. This, I'm sure, explains the lack of parts. Most of the vehicles have been picked to pieces. I found some crushed beer cans out there, and took solace knowing that you can get your drink on while you pick, if you so choose. There were also dirt cheap (AND dirt-Y) vehicles for sale, all of which would need a good cleaning and some fixing up, but for that price, still a deal. Inside, the staff was helpful and witty to boot. I paid a dollar to enter, but was loaned a lug wrench in case I found my part. The parking lot has a food truck, in case you food truck hipsters want to go check out a cart I'm pretty sure isn't participating in any food truck fests. read more

Stopped here after the other you-pull place nearby, for a few more things. It is bigger than U-Part-It (I think that's the other one.) Gravel, but nicely kept up so that even after a storm it was pretty dry. I wandered for a bit, found what I needed, and wandered some more just for the heck of it. Pretty busy, full of the usual models and a few surprises. I've been here before and will be back. read more

This is TOTALLY ridiculous! I got a ridiculously low quote, but OK, I get it. Now, here's my situation. The car is at my son's, where I lived last year. I now live 1 hour away. We could not find the title. So, I went to my county seat and spent $18 on a notarized new copy of the title, which I signed. I spent $50 getting someone to come to me, get the title, and take it to my son in Columbus. He is moving now, so there is a time issue. Not the company's fault. BUT... now this heavily accented women I can barely understand tells me she can't schedule me because I don't have the title in hand!!! WHY didn't someone tell me before I paid to get the title TO THE LOCATION OF THE CAR??? Also, a signed and notarized title made out to them is not enough. I have to be there! Now I have to figure out how to get someone to make 4 50 mile trips -- come get me, go to Columbus, bring me home, then go back to Columbus. Had I known all this before I did what I did, I would have gone to the title agency, signed the car over to my son, and had him be there for the pickup! I will end up getting NOTHING for my car.... with it's $500+ of new parts you aren't giving me anything for! I sold you a badly wrecked vehicle a few years back, and it wasn't like this! I signed the title over, gave it to the guys when they came to take the car, absolutely NO complications. I will end up using you, because, UNFORTUNATELY, there really are no other options. :( Maybe that's why you don't care. The location is convenient, but when you call at 9:15 am and the phone message says they're closed and then states the hours of operation are from 8 am (daylight savings time or not) that is really inconvenient when they close at 6 pm. Like most people, I have a day job and can't spend all day trying to figure out when someone will be there to help me. read more

My car recently died (sad face). The repairs were going to be more than my car was worth, so I ended up calling it a loss and buying a new car (sad wallet). Pretty much none of the car dealerships wanted to buy a car that didn't run, so it was suggested to me to sell my car to a junk yard. I put in requests for several quotes online. Pick-n-Pull came out being the best one. Plus, to top it off, they didn't harass me every hour like some of the other shady junk yards. Because my title was in my maiden name and my driver's license was in my married name, I had to go down to their physical location to give them some documentation. They actually gave me another $25 above my quote for the inconvenience of doing this. Well worth it for the drive and short amount of time I spent there. Their location was your standard junk yard. The guy that helped me was very nice. I didn't go out back to check out their inventory, but there were a ton of people coming in and out, so they seemed like a popular place. I was lucky enough to get them to squeeze me in the next day (a Saturday) to pick up my car. I got a call-ahead to let me know that they were on their way and they showed up in a timely fashion and quickly got the title signed over, handed me my check and went on their way. I would definitely recommend Pick-n-Pull as your first option if you have a car that doesn't run and you want to get some money for it. If you're looking for a specific part, ask them to look it up, and they will print you a receipt with all possible vehicle matches and where they are located. I didn't even make it past the cashier with an enormous chip on her shoulder. She was asked a question which required a 'yes' or 'no' response like "Do you have an '02 and an '03 on the lot. Instead of answering yes or no, she decided to tell my husband and I that those parts wouldn't work for the '04. She has no idea why I'm asking nor should I have to explain myself. I reiterated the question and she still could not answer 'yes' or 'no', but did tell us not to "push her buttons". She point blank asked if we wanted the parts that she said would work for the '04. We opted not to give this company any of our money. I have no desire to EVER be treated like that again and I wish the company would better vet their employees read more

Looked at web sit and found they have several of my car and they look good. Called ahead and told them I needed an wheel rim and confirmed the car. All good. Paid my dollar and was sent to the yard. Nothing but husks of cars and 99% with no wheels. Found one in the far corner with a wheel and it actually was a sized match but had orange paint on it. Walked all the way back to the store and asked - paint means nothing. Cool. Grabbed my tools and walked all the way out. Ended up breaking a $30 oversized tire iron. Back into the store. Oh, the orange paint means the bolts are stuck and they laugh. Good joke and I'm out $30. Place is horrible. That said, it all you need is a body panel this is the place. Nice store and they know where all the cars sit. Other than that it's a total rip off and their idea of a joke is just rude. read more

So I guess this place decides when they close on a whim because online, on Google, and everywhere else it says they close at six and on their website it even says closing soon at 5:20 PM. I called and let the phone ring about 25 times and some rude lady picks up the phone and says we close at five and I say, " it says you close at six " & She HUNG up on me. There goes my business, my entire family's business and all my friends business. Will never go there again & everybody I know will not go there too too. It's one dollar a person to enter the yard. They have wheelbarrows to use but no soap or towels to wash your hands with when your done. We came up to this location and pulled two super nice headlight assemblies for a CRV. Got to check out and things got weird. The lady comment on how nice they were and then asked us if we were sure we needed them. They were nice but some pieces were broken and we would have to epoxy together for it to work. Then she typed into her computer something and called over someone else and they just stood there and talked super low. She ended up charging us 30$ for each which we had expected it to be cheaper but I'm not gonna complain because she saved us 20$ by not charging us extra for their quality. Apparently they can charge you extra for the parts being nicer, which I think that's BS. You didn't catch how nice these headlight were before you put this car out. We went out found them did the work to detach them and now you are gonna charge me extra because you were lazy? Oh, well I am leaving four stars because they did everything right except their customer service interactions could be better/more professional and the business comes off greedy. Still got the parts we need for 50% less than new. At the end of the day, they met our needs and did their job. read more
