Rip offs. said an oil change was 40 dollars with 15 for oil filter and just that came out being over 200. charged 50 just for oil maintenance and a 129 labor fee. Also 60 for the oil. Also needed antifreeze and they charged 80 just for that and 129 labor fee. Highway robber. read more

She took the car in to Evans on a Saturday morning. They took incredibly good care of our car and our family. They went out of their way to make sure my family got back on the road before the end of their service day on Saturday, and were incredibly friendly in the process. While they did take my car in and charge for a diagnostic. They performed nothing. My sunroof is stuck open. I simply said close it. I got 3 totals of how much over the phone and when my husband went to pick it up because we declined the repair of the motor. They told him they bad a hour looking and didn't take it off the track or anything. I spoke to someone weeks ago. Took off work. Got a rental car because it's across town. Only to have wasted time and money. I'm sorry i didn't have a Lamborghini to work on but thats how I feel. They pushed my little Acura tsx to the side to work on more expensive cars. I was recommended by a CO worker as it being a reasonable place. I beg to differ. If busy say that. I'm from out of town and I brought my car here the day after thanksgiving and I didn't have high hopes that I would get anything done. Especially after calling over 20 other shops and they being booked. I spoke with Keith and he made no promises but at the same time made me feel comfortable about coming there. After arriving the Erin checked as all in and gave us a estimated of 1-2 hours. I wasn't happy about the wait but I was hopeful. Everyone was nice in the place. Very welcoming and thoughtful. Erin even offered me and my husband a slice a pizza. That was great. I wish we was hungry. Literally 35 mins later Keith came up and gave us the best news ever and had everything fixed 15 mins later. Ive been taking my Aunts car here for about 2 years. The last 2 times the service has been terrible and the pricing through the roof. The nice young man Todd that usualy helps us is no longer there and found out he's working for a competitor. If I knew where he was, that's where we'd go. Jim is the reason I keep coming back -- he knows my car front and back, is friendly, and I know he's being honest and upfront with me. They also keep great records which is always a plus. I was referred here by a long-time friend of the family who has brought several corporate vehicles in for repair. Although, this shop is on the other side of town from my work/home, I decided to trust a referral. Although, the customer service people were friendly, they are AWFUL COMMUNICATORS. They were inaccurate in their information conveyed regarding service time and price on more than one account during my experience. I called their shop on a Friday evening and they relayed that they would be unable to rack my car until the next day - no big deal. I dropped my car off Friday evening. Saturday, I received a call regarding my car's diagnosis and the office go-to customer communications guy told me they would be able to complete the job by Monday for pick-up Monday evening - not the most convenient but doable. Mid-day Monday rolls around with zero call from the shop; when I called to check up on things, they relayed that the car was being "finicky" but should be done by 4 to pick up. 4:12 rolled around and I had received no call. When I called AGAIN to get an update, I was told that my car would not be finished until the next day - excuse me? Couldn't you have CALLED ME to tell me that? Tuesday midday rolls around and I still had not received a call; when I called this time to get an update, the office man said, "we thought you would have been in by now to pick it up." LIVID. Ever heard of communication? To top it off, when I asked the total cost of the repair AFTER the repair and total labor were completed, I was told, "$475 + tax." When I went to pick up my car, a new woman checked me out and rung me up for $587. When I voiced the price that I was told over the phone, the man who I spoke with over the phone approached the counter and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to add in your check out fee when speaking with you over the phone." I was told there was nothing they could do to waive the fee even though I was given false pricing. I am unable to speak to the specific repair work done to my car since I only just got it back and am monitoring for continued leaking. However, customer service and false communication regarding prices will strongly influence my decision to further refer or return back to this shop. read more

I've held off writing this for awhile because frankly I wasn't sure if I had been taken advantage of or not. Now I'm sure I didn't so here it is. I was at the Shell station on Morse Road and when I went to start my car up afte filling up, it wouldnt start. I took a cab to my old repair shop only to find out that they had been sold and I didn't like the attitude of the new owner. So another cab ride and I called Evans. They sent a tow truck to pick me and my car up. But the news wasn't good. Instead of just needing a battery, it also needed another repair (can't remember what). The long and the short of it was the Bernie got my car fixed in pretty short order and I'm happy with that, just not happy with what it cost me but what are you gonna do? read more

Poor service. The service advisor on the phone did not know his a$$ from a hole in the ground. Couldn't really explain my $450 bill other than there were quite a few techs that were confused and had to work on it (they ultimately switched two connectors around on two plugs). Received the car back with more errors that when I initially dropped it off. Didn't have any info on the new error codes (no idea why they didn't try to clear them as that was the reason the vehicle was brought there in the first place). Ended up bringing it to the BMW dealer who upgraded the software and fixed the error codes for less. I hate writing poor reviews but this is not the first poor service from here. Last time, they charged for extra service to the vehicle (that I specifically asked them not to) and then the owner claims that when they cannot reach you, they can add and complete repair work up to 10%. Yet my cell is always on. read more

I will not only not be returning. I brought in a set of new wheels and tires for these guys to mount and balance as I was told they are one of the few shops that has the equipment necessary for mounting low profile tires to larger wheels. They successfully mounted the tires however, after a couple of days I realized air was leaking from a couple of the tires and called them to bring the vehicle back over for them to inspect this. A long story short after multiple attempts, mis-representations (including the wheel manufacturer left a protective film on the wheels), and hours of lost time I ended up taking the affected wheel to another shop where they found Evan's had failed to remove an adhesive barcode from the tire and this was preventing the tire from forming a proper seal with the wheel. The other shop waived the charges where as Evans charged an absurd fee. I do not recommend these guys, they overcharge, do not stand by their work, and again made multiple misrepresentations. read more

I workedd with Jim 3 times on repairs and he was wonderful! I worked with Bernie and it was an AWFUL experience. He called and said the car was ready and give me a price. When I went to pick up the car a day later, he changed the price to a higher amount. I asked how that was even possible???? He said they didnt drive the car and check all of their work until AFTER THEY GIVE ME A FINAL price. Then one part did not work correctly so they took it off and added a more expensive part AT MY EXPENSE. Sorry Jim and Evan. I will not be back due to lack of ethics from other folks you employee. I did pay but it is the last time they will get any money from me. read more
