On July 7, 2026 I sent an email to the woman that I had spoken to and politely stated that I considered it discourteous to not show up at the time window that they had given me. The woman returned my email and stated that the reason that they did not show up was because they called me a 2nd time at 12:15Pm that day and that I did not return their 2nd phone call. I had already spoken to her earlier in the morning at approx 10:45AM and verified that I would be home and waiting. So, just because I did not answer a 2nd unnecessary call to confirm the pick up again, they used that as an excuse for never showing up???? What a sheet show. I went on to the Peddle website and got a quote. They gave me a time window of July 10, 2026 btwn 7-8AM. The driver was at my house at 7:15AM. Summer 2025 is a great time to go to LKQ. Since they are charging $3 admission all Summer long. A far cry from their normal $5 admission fee. But just make sure that they have your vehicle in stock and that vehicle hasn't been over a week on the yard. Otherwise it is probably gutted. Since workers call up their buddies to pre-pick stuff off vehicles before the vehicles are made public. Case in point is a vehicle that I saw on the lkq pyp website that was put out the day I high tailed it to Monrovia location. The pics clearly shows a complete vehicle, inside and out. Once I made it here, the vehicle was damn near gutted. Also, make sure that you are charged for the part that you have. Look on website under price list and search for all the parts you are pulling. Every time you show the blood sucking cashier a part, say the name of the part that is listed on the website under price list. That way there will be no surprises when it comes to part costs. As every part has a name and a fixed priced on their website. Make sure you say no warranty for each part. So they wont charge you an unwanted warranty fee. By default, they will charge you a warranty fee. If you want warranty, make sure they mark every single part of your part. This includes the actual part and not just removable pieces on the part. If they fail to mark all over your part and you try to return it, they will not give you an exchange or refund. Because they will accuse you of bringing in a part that you didnt purchase from them. Ive seen them do that to another guy and he was mad. Like someone said, the ground is full of lose gravel. So make sure you get here early to get one of their wheelbarrows with fully inflated tires. I called for about 3 days with no damn answer until finally on day 4 I got to speak to someone. when I was finally able to speak to someone I was hung up on for using a interruption call company due to the fact I am deaf! I spent 30 minutes taking them off, but when I went to pay for them; I was being charged $130 for 22 year old roof racks that are faded and the plastic is starting to crack from sun exposure. Came in to see if some wheels were still on a Acura. Only 3 out of 4 were present. I spent so long trying to find the last wheel. 10mins before closing I'm running with a wheel barrel of the 3 rims to the front. Finding another wheel to complete the set would have cost as much as the 3 wheels combined. Amazing cashier understood my problem and instead of brushing me off, he sent me to the master tire guru named Jimmy. This guy looked at the wheel from 50 feet away and in one attempt, he found the last rim to complete my set! These workers work their butts off to sort things here so the public can get what they need instead of overpaying at any retail or dealership. 10/10 recommended read more

The parts you need are available. Most of the staff are excellent, but it takes one to ruin it. One of the cashiers was overcharging for the parts. They did not match the prices that the website stated. The hand washing stations do not have hand cleaner detergent. You get stuck with all these hidden fees and not to mention forced upon you "90 Day Warranty" that's supposed to be "Optional" but the employees at every location I've been to say it is not and just stick you with it. Basically kind of like extortion for the part you spent time pulling and now have to decide if you want it that bad or just leave it behind because their 90 Day Optional Warranty is not optional. BEWARE OF "OPTIONAL" WARRANTY FEE Came here looking for a replacement hood for an 08' Scion XB. Saw on their website that they had a matching color 08 Scion with the hood just like I needed, posted available 2 weeks ago. Called their 800 number and found out there's no way to confirm if the part you need is available or not, you can only show up and take a gamble. Thankfully the hood was still available in good condition. I researched the price of the hood online before I got there, and I noticed it included a $24, 90 day guarantee charge. I wondered if this was optional or not. So I waited in line and the young kid rings me up. The computer monitor is facing you so you can see what you're being charged for. Without asking me, he included the $24 warranty fee and told me my total. "Do I have to purchase the warranty," I asked? He replied no, and I told him ok I don't want it. He even smirked a little, as if he was "caught" doing something shady. What business or retailer can you think of, that automatically includes an optional warranty fee with an item, without even asking the customer if they want to purchase it? This practice is definitely deceptive. Furthermore, I know a lot of non-English speaking customers shop here. If you've got old cars and no time or budget for prima donna mechanics who "can't get that anymore" or say "that's a sourcing project" for that little thing you need and then say it'll be a grand for some 2hr job, you need this place. Can check inventory online. Move fast though good parts are harvested quickly. It's tough to imagine many folks fixing up the same cars I am, but half the time they're stripped of useful bits within a week. Bonus: by removing it yourself you learn how it all works without screwing up your own car. This is so valuable especially on the plastic parts, lol. I would give it zero stars if I could. I went in the website and the car I needed parts from was in the site. It was a 40 mile drive so I wanted to make sure it was there before I got there. Plus with it being a ridiculous $5 entry now, you can't afford to just show up and look around. I get there and go inside and the entire row that the car was in was gone! I went to to counter and told the manager. He looked it up and it was still on the site. He asked the employee when the row was removed and employee said recently. He turns to me and says the car is now in the back being crushed. Sorry. I told him I drove 40 miles just for that car and if it's not in the yard I should get a refund. HE TELLS ME NO! BECAUSE TECHNICALLY ITS STILL IN THE YARD!! That's horrible customer service! It's false advertising! A blatant bait and switch to get entry money. I found some window visors in good shape which is a set of 4, for a 4 door sedan. These also are for an older model car and are harder to find. I previously bought some at another pick a part here in SoCal and thought found a good value. Since their website doesn't have specifically window visors, and I know I've seen many different models with them, it's strange and a lack of knowledge and customer service to not have it. Anyways, the cashier wanted $81.00 for four pieces of plastic. These new are at most $50.00. Charging for each visor is ludicrous because no one in their right mind would even buy one by itself. Two maybe for a two door, but that is still a set and it always comes that way. You can't even buy one separately if one breaks or gets lost/stolen. So how in your right business(fair) mind, do you price these individually and want to charge nearly $100?! It's smaller than Sun Valley, but MUCH MORE organized and does NOT STINK! nor have the "premium" lot, which is just as disorganized as the main lot! The yard is dirt, but FLAT. All automobiles are spaced closely, but appropriately, all are accessible from all sides and one can open all doors completely to enter and access bolts, etc if one wanted to remove doors. I did my homework, I pick Monrovia because it was closer to me. i got my car, they had 2 of them, got the isle and numbers where they would be. From pictures provided they both had the part I needed. I even asked if the cars were still available before I paid. Staff member was nice and showed me the same pictures I saw. Paid for two people. When I went the car, it was practically all gone! The second one literally had half the car gone. The pictures were not up to date. When I asked the employee why they do not update information, he said depends who is is doing the update and no they are often not correct. Got a truck liner out of a pick up, had a hard time carrying it by myself to the check out. And, of course, even though I brought my own tools, should have brought some more sockets and a power driver. So, bring more tools than you think you will need. When I got to the check out (after dragging that truck liner for about 8 rows), a gentleman said: "do you need some help?"....well, yes.
