TLDR: easiest decision, hire Mr. Seong Park I recently called Mr. Seong Park I think on a Thursday night, asking for what I thought was a simple touch up job before we moved into a new place, and thinking I already had the paint. He offered to come by on Saturday (1.5 days later!). He showed up early, gave me two quotes and explained the pros and cons of each, and then ensured the paint I had on hand was the right color before I went to get more. He also removed a TV wall mount, patched it perfectly, and taped several cracks in the drywall. And then the job got way more difficult. I went to go get more paint matched, which took awhile, and when I came back he started painting and it was clear it did not match. He then went to a paint specialist, went through 5 rounds of paint matching before he was satisfied, and came back to proceed with not just touching up but essentially repainting the entire house so that it was uniform in color. What he thought was going to only take a couple hours kept him there the entire day. On top of that, after working an entire day, he asked if he could come back the next morning for one more coat because he wasn't satisfied with the job yet! When I came back in the morning he had finished, cleaned up thoroughly, stored my paint, and installed an outlet cover I had bought. The job totally evolved and at no point did he complain, much less ask for more money to complete it. He did an amazing job, very thorough, and our home now looks brand new. I could not be more happy to highly recommend that you hire him for any paint needs! He was courteous, kind, respectful, and did an amazing job. Seong showed up for a scheduled estimate but refused to even look at the job the moment he saw another contractor was also there to provide a bid. We're juggling post-lead and asbestos remediation, renting a place 40 minutes away, working full-time, and caring for a young child. Coordinating multiple estimates at once isn't a luxury for us, it's a necessity. At no point did Seong mention that he has an issue with clients getting more than one quote. Instead of being upfront about his "one-contractor only" expectation, he chose to waste our time and walk away on the spot. It came across as unprofessional, inflexible, and dismissive of our situation. If you consider hiring Seong, make sure you ask very clearly about his attitude toward competing bids and your time. I had such an incredibly good experience last time hiring Seong from Pro Master Painting that I decided to ask him to do another project for me this time. ( Btw, the last time when he painted our house he did such a wonderful job that one of my neighbors walking by asked me for Seong's info. and ended up hiring him for painting their house too) This time, I was once again amazed by the meticulous work Seong did. (My request was to repair a hole that birds made in one of the upper corners of my home's trim) I requested a quote on Monday and I received an estimate the next day on Tuesday. It started at our initial appointment with how carefully he listened to our priorities. I'll get right to the point: Mr. Seong Park exceeded our expectations. He took care of the little things that make even "small" patch-up projects like ours a hassle for busy homeowners.
