I really like the prices been coming for years ! Unfortunately I've come to learn it's best off to pay a couple bucks extra elsewhere than to deal with the attitude of the people in the front of the house. They simply don't care and talk rude to you like if you have know idea what your-talking about. Another thing is I know the place is busy but honestly when a phone rings for more than 6 minutes and no one picks up it's just horrible customer service and yes that has happened to me numerous time . I went and they tried to charge it and tired giving it back to me. I got a "loner battery" for $40 until they were finished charging my battery since they need to make sure it's a bad battery which it obviously was !!!!! and the loner battery which was tiny didn't fit my car! I was stranded the next day. They gave me my old battery!!! EVEN BEFORE COVID-19 this place has always been very slow with customer service. Now I do admit I still come here for the low end car parts I need to fix my vehicles and although they're low end they do hold up and most come with warranties. I don't mind the wait most of the time but when CUSTOMER SERVICE is horrible that's where it becomes an issue. I've (sadly to admit) been coming here for years and have says had to deal with horrible customer service. I was here a week ago (10/1/2020) where there we're only a few people ahead of me (less than 10) and I waited over an hour and a half to be attended. Again, I wouldn't have minded the wait but the fact that we were forced to stand out in the hot sun for over an hour and never did any of us receive an apology for the wait times or a simple thank you for our services. Ridiculous. But overall here's my final statement. Want cheap car parts that do the job? This is the place. Like looking at angry associates who won't even greet you nor thank you? THIS is THE place! Best bet, buy online parts from 1Aauto or RockAuto if you aren't in desperate need of said car parts and can wait a couple days. This is a lengthy review, but I feel that it is necessary because I do not want anybody to get taken advantage of. On May 21st, my husband went to Auto Tech Warehouse to buy a starter for our car. Mark was the salesperson helping my husband. The starter that he gave my husband looked a little different when my husband told Mark about it, he said that it was the correct one. At this point Mark put the old starter in the box and gave my husband the starter without a box even though the receipt states that in order to return an item you need the box. My husband brought it home installed it and from the get-go something was wrong. My husband parked the car and this Sunday Jun 6th he took the starter off so he could take it in on Monday because he figured it was defective. We figured that there would not be a problem because it had a warranty. When he went back on Monday May. 7th. The salesperson that helped my husband asked him for a different receipt because apparently the receipt my husband had was not the correct one. The receipt Mark gave my husband had false information. Then Mark walks over and states that that part is not from their shop. My husband tells Mark that, that is the part he gave him. At that point Mark accused my husband of bringing a different part. He then told my husband that our mechanic probably scammed him and switched the parts. My husband stated that he did the work himself. At this point my husbands asked to speak to the manager and Mark with an attitude tells my husband if he speaks English as to which my husband replied with a yes. Ignorance is a bliss. When Payam the manager came out he stated that that part was not from there because it did not have a certain sticker or marking. After arguing back and forth and my husband telling him to check the cameras. Payam said that he would call the Manufacture and ask them if its their part and if it was then they would exchange it. He told my husband that it would take 2 to 3 weeks and that he would check the cameras. When my husband came home and told me I was a little uneasy, so I decide to call Payam myself I gave him a call I didn't not scream as he says but I was firm. I told him that something was going on that his employees were probably shady doing stuff behind his back specially Mark. A few words were said I continued accusing his employees as he accused me of going to the junk yard to get the part. After a 30 min. conversation and me telling him that I would call BBB to investigate. He said it would take 2 weeks for him to talk to the manufacturer and 48 hours to check the cameras. I continued not agreeing because I feel it could have been resolved faster. He then said that he would check the cameras by the end of the day. I proceeded to tell him the exact date and time on the receipt so he could narrow it down. We ended the call. I called my husband and about 10min into our conversation who calls with the issue resolved Payam saying that he checked the cameras and talked to the manufacturer and it was their mistake. A few minutes after Payam calls my husband Mark calls as well. Coincidence I think not I feel they just got caught. My husband went to pick up the part yesterday June 8th. And mark once again apologized. Payam sent my husband a short clip of the video and said he would send it to the manufactures as proof. I do not understand how when my husband returned the part Mark knew in an instant the part was not from there but when he took it out of the box saw it and held it, he didn't. To me all this seems dishonest I read through all the reviews and 3 people had the same experience I did and a little more than a dozen had issues with defective parts and wrong parts. Remember you get what you pay for and if you want to take a risk on them, please make sure that everything is legit when you walk out. Also, if you got a defective part or wrong part its their mistake and they should not charge a restoking fee. read more

To whom it may concern, I want to leave a good review, I REALLY do, however, the actions of these people and the way they run their business has resulted in my bad review. If I don't like a place, I usually never return but I couldn't help but share my experience with this "business". How many times have you purchased something only to find out it was the wrong size/fit? Naturally you go back with your receipt and can get a refund or store credit. Well NOT HERE!!!!!! The situation: my car messes up, I go in pick out a part, purchase the part and I'm on my way. I get home and to my surprise I chose the wrong thing, so I go return the part only to be greeted by a cold salesperson who is not only rude but condescending as well. I felt belittled and felt as though they treated me the way they did because I am a woman! After asking to speak with the manager, the rude salesperson went to fetch him and took a while. They both came back with a smirk on their faces and I could tell they were talking crap about me. I've worked in customer service, I know how you're supposed to handle customers who are unsatisfied. You can at least try to meet them halfway to correct any mistakes/ inconveniences that may have presented themselves BUT NOT THESE GUYS! I BOUGHT A PART HERE AND THEY MADE UP SOME BS LIE THAT THEY DID NOT MAKE THAT THERE/ IT WASN'T ONE OF THEIR PRODUCTS! THESE GUYS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CLIENTS!!! Also, the man helping me would not give me his name when I asked for it and the "manager" and him definitely talked to each other to have IDENTICAL stories as to why they couldn't refund me my money. They sold me a defective unit. The receipt said I had thirty days to return it but they wouldn't give me a full refund. One of their associates told me I can exchange the part, but the new item would cost $30 more. In the end I was able to get a refund but they charged me a $25 restocking fee even though the item didn't work out of the box. Apparently the parts back counter guys are perfect and so is the dude who signs your receipt on the way out that the parts they pull for you are 100% guaranteed to fit. I started my day by going in and return some parts that were incorrect for my vehicle and I am approached by the "dude" in the front that checks receipts on the way out. He asks why I am returning and I simply said "they are the incorrect ones they don't fit my vehicle " he then proceeded to insult me by saying " that's what I asked for and laughed when I said I'm doing the work on them not knowing I'm a certified technician myself, unnecessary and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. As I'm being helped the parts guy next to me gets all aggressive and shouts at the customer for not understanding what she wants and the same guy in the chair by the door shouts "tell her we don't have it " . So, I've been here many times and bought many things. This is the first time I've had an issue. This was a big inconvenience because I do live far but every part I've ever bought I've saved a lot. I bought a few things this time, among them was a brake caliper. After installing I noticed the was something wrong. It was defective. I called dreading the worse but they were very helpful, thank you Mauricio. Unfortunately they didn't have a replacement so they said to come by the next day. I had to call a couple times to make sure it came in, it was late but they finally called me and said it was in. I always find auto parts here for cheap. I rarely have had any issues the handful of times I have been here. The only inconveniences are the lines (be prepared to wait) and the parking (overcrowded and small parking lot). In fact, it is such a hassle to come here that if I will only save about $20 on a part, I don't even bother. I will make the effort for $40, $50 and such savings over what my mechanic is offering. They really should get a bigger place with better parking and hire more employees to deal with customers.
