Pretty good pickleball spot with indoor and outdoor spots. Parking can get quite jammed, and the location could be hard to navigate. Once you're on the premises, you get this nice courtyard/patio feel to it, complete with full bar (at the trailer box) and a food truck along the side. Theres even a nice open field to kick a soccer ball or relax on their patio furniture. Really good vibes Pickleball courts are relatively spacious, but low fences. (at least they got good boundaries around the courts) . However there are elevated spots on the courts. Perhaps from previous wear and tear, you can tell someone's tried to patch it up. It doesn't necessarily affect the game, but its not always flush on the ground. Overall I had a great time, at PIckleball social. I didn't pay for renting the spot, but I'd imagine its what you'd expect. read more

Played here many times and always appreciate how well maintained the outdoor courts are for the most part. They offer both Indoor and outdoor options, you can make reservations ahead (easy to do so online) or partake in their open play everyday. (Thursday is a popular day - Free open play with an alcoholic drink purchase). There are membership options too and plenty of events/partnerships throughout the year. I do like how the courts are well lit, the indoor option is a bit cooler but still a bit hot at times in the summer. (not great HVAC) Staff has always been friendly. There's a bar and often food trucks at the back. Parking can be challenging here during their busier times, it's a one way so it wraps around the building and often you may have to park outside. There's alot of pickleball options in Houston, this is a convenient location and has a good mix of skill levels during open play. I really enjoy our visits here. I reserved for a big group for about four hours with food and drinks. When we arrived, everything was prepared and ready. The staff and bartenders were very friendly. Everything went smoothly. There were plenty of paddles and equipment for continuous play. The drinks are fantastic and flavorful, with the bartender often creating new and exciting cocktails you've never tried before. I recommend this place for both large and small group parties. Conveniently located off of I-10 near memorial city, you might miss the entrance to the parking on your first time visiting. Parking isn't a concern because there's plenty of them. You can make reservations online. Have only played on their indoor courts, in which there are 5 available. You can reserve a specific court number when making your reservation. Free sunscreen available for people playing outdoor. Employees seem nice and friendly. No complaints here. Plenty of seating outside to just hang out. TV screens located throughout. There are other games available - ping pong, corn hole, connect four. There's a bar and food truck available, however I have not tried any of their drinks or food. The only thing I did was showed up and played after my cousin scheduled us a slot for the indoor court during the rainy day and I loved how clean/spacious everything was. Offers both indoor and outdoor court reservations, which is convenient, but the pricing is steep--$50/hour for indoor courts is on the high end compared to other options in the area. That said, the centralized location might justify it for some. Reservations are easy to make online. Lighting and HVAC indoors could be better. The courts closer to the front waiting area are well-lit, but the back half noticeably dips in brightness. It doesn't necessarily affect play, but it's something you'll pick up on. More notably, the temperature feels too warm for an indoor facility. You're shielded from the sun, but it doesn't feel truly climate controlled. Staff is friendly and quick with check-in. Acoustics are decent, and the facility doesn't ever seem overly crowded. I haven't tried open play or the food and drink offerings, so can't comment there. One minor note: the main driving entrance could be marked more clearly. Parking wraps around the building but isn't usually hard to find. It's also a one-way, so if you miss a spot, you'll need to loop around or re-enter. That said, I did once see shattered glass from a car break-in, so improved lighting or parking security would be a welcome upgrade. The lower rating mostly reflects the premium price tag for indoor play when the environment isn't fully up to par--mainly due to the warm temperature, the subpar driving experience, and security concerns. read more

This new local Pickelball outdoor sports bar in Spring Branch has been a place I wanted to visit for months. Curiosity finally caught up with me since I could not tell outside if it was open yet. We decided to drive by last night after dinner with family and could not believe how cool it was inside. As you walk in, they have 4 areas to sit in with ample seating and fire pits to keep you warm .The pickle ball courts are by first come, first serve. It was packed with almost every court taken at 10:30 on a Saturday night. We met Gustavo the bartender, and he gave us some paddles to play ping pong on the best tables we have ever seen at a bar. Thank you to him for telling us about happy hour Tuesday and Saturdays. If you order a drink, they waive the $10 court fees.They also have a food truck that sold out by 10:00 pm. With many places to watch, even if you don't play and still in their soft opening stage since only been open 5 months , you can see this will soon be a local fave. My first experience ever playing pickleball and completely advocate for this place. I heard that they are bringing a new one near cypress and super excited. I had SO much fun. Way easier than tennis and the best part is you can also have an alcoholic beverage while partaking in the pickleball fun! Downfall is, they CHARGE your tush an arm AND 2 legs. Ever hour is $40 on the weekends. Best to reserve during the week where it will be $25 per hour. Seems like a great place to enjoy events like birthdays and maybe even something for team building that is work based. As much as they charged per hour, I would do it again. I read that they have tournaments that pay money, too! Although, I think it's best I first learn the game before getting ahead of myself. There are 8 outdoor courts and several courts that are indoor when the weather isn't as nice. Luckily, the weather was phenomenal. Good pickleball bar vibes and great hang out spot! Great for beginner play and private group bookings. Good for hosting parties as there are lots of open space with a large grassy area with cornhole and lots of tables around the pickleball courts. There are 8 outdoor courts and 5 indoor courts. The outdoor courts are individually fenced off and pretty spacious. The indoor courts are individually fenced off as well but the lights are a bit dim and flicker every once in awhile so that is a bit distracting. The pickleball open play on Saturday is from 6-10 pm and a majority of the players are beginner so this would be a great place for beginner players to come and play. The open play is limited to the first 32 players and admission is included with purchase of a drink from the bar or a $10/person fee. We booked a private indoor court ($50/hr) for a few hours and had a good experience from booking (on the court reserve app) and with them answering all of our questions. Splitting the cost amongst a large group of 6-8 makes it more affordable and reasonable. There is a food truck offering Mexican food. I tried the empanada and birria and they were pretty good - a bit salty but the Mexican flavors were all there. The portions are small though so it's not really big enough to share. I had a great experience here but the dim and flickering lights for the indoor courts are the only reasons I am docking it one star. read more

I really enjoyed pickleball at the pickleball social! They have a few outdoor and indoor courts to choose from. The court rental prices are listed on their website, and they also offer paddle rentals for $6 per day. I would recommend this area for a group pickleball session or for even for a party of two. Was good - went shady/scammy. We used to go here once a week for at least a year. Decent facility, but pricey, it is about $50 an hour to play. Never, ever, once (even at peak times) did we have trouble parking here. There is plenty of parking, EXCEPT ... somebody got greedy. Last time I went, they had coned off HALF of the parking lot and were charging to valet park. Now there is nowhere to park, and the only empty spots are coned off as pay-to-park spots. The "walk" from the valet station is about 4x longer than if you are self-parking. So basically, they are adding a huge inconvenience to the customers, gouging everyone for an extra $10, handing off your keys to some shlep that will rummage through your stuff, and make you walk farther. HATE this place now and will not go back. read more

Pickleball Social is best for.... being social! Great place to throw parties or rent some courts if you want to hang with friends, grab some tacos or have a drink. Open play is well - truly open play. You never know who you're going to play with - beginners or advanced. Their open play prices are pretty good - $10 for about 4 hours at a time. However, if you come during their "buy a drink, play for free" when there's a waitlist, I would not bother sitting on the waitlist because it won't die out until towards the last hour of the night. So it you want to come play on their Thursday special night, plan to be there by 630pm! They use the Court Reserve app for booking courts - not sure why they don't use it for open play reservations. Indoor courts can be reserved for $50 which is actually pretty pricey considering the lighting is awful and you can book Elite for $40 (with two more locations opening in February 2024). The only true benefit from booking their indoor court is if you plan on drinking and if you don't want to drive an extra 15 minutes into the city. Outdoor courts can be booked for $40. read more

Tried pickleball for the first time and it might be my new favorite activity! This place is super cool, has a bar and food truck with a lot of options! The first time you have to sign a waiver and check in which takes a minute. The only thing I didn't love was that you can rent the paddles but not the ball if you don't have them. The paddles I understand because they want them back but the balls you have to purchase and of course we lost it. For the price to rent the court, the ball should be included. It's nice that you can bring your own stuff tho Indoor and outdoor court options with tables for the people not playing! Definitely a place for the whole family read more

He included everyone, made it fun and had us playing the game in no time. They setup food for our group and it was one of our most successful team building events! They lack security and accountability for break-in's in their parking lot. My car was broken into this week, and coincidentally I parked directly in front of their one camera. Even with parking in front of their camera, they failed to provide a video of the individual breaking in. This is one of the reasons they have constant break-in's in their parking lot, because criminals know they won't do anything, and so they continue their break-in's. Now I'm out a thousand dollars, and no evidence of the break-in to provide to the police. As I already messaged the management directly, the call to action is to improve your security, and camera systems. To take care of everything in your power, to avoid break-ins, not make it a hot spot, for ongoing break-in's. read more

This is my go to spot for something to do. It has it all. Pickleball, drinks, great food, corn hole, soccer, sports watching, live music sometimes and the staff is the best. I've become dear friends with all of them. I spent most nights there during my divorce crushing pickleballs and crushing the holes and dreams of the competition.
