One visit and you'll feel immediate immersion within this uplifting community of pickleballers. There are 21 pickleball courts, a tennis court, and some nice grandstand-style outdoor seating that offers a great view of the action. For open play, one side is 2.5-3.0 and the other is 3.5-4.0. Yesterday morning, the higher-level side had about two courts of advanced-level players. There's even a water and ice machine, plus a misting fan. A portable WC and hand wash station are on-site. There's also a small selection of Selkirk gear, and I was happy to come away with a nice bag along with some merch to remember my visit. There are excellent membership options as well--great value that I would absolutely recommend for anyone in the area. I'll definitely be back once Miles and Uta return from their well-deserved summer break on 10/16/25! I had the pleasure of speaking with Miles quite a bit; he mentioned that February and March tend to be especially busy. All of the folks I played with were incredibly welcoming and friendly, with Miles on hand for much of it. The ever-present sense of camaraderie and positivity makes this place a rare gem in the pickleball landscape.

Lots of parties, tournaments. This place is a gem! 50 of the hundred residential units have turned over in the past five years. New owners are primarily 50s tennis enthusiasts so the community and club is much younger than other Coachella Valley communities. They have a focus on tennis and do a good job getting people involved. Residents have access to the courts, but non-residents can also join the club and play tennis here. We have friends from Palm Desert who don't have tennis in their communities, and chose to join PDTC. One service that sets PDTC apart is that pros are available about every day, and help organize games for you. Tell Melanie your level and when you want to play and she can find you a game. "I'm in town and would like to play Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9. I'm a 4.0 and would like to play men's doubles." You can probably get a pretty good game organized. After a few days you might be able to build up a network of local players at your level. There is also a group of advanced players 4.5 and up, which can be harder to find. They also have pickleball if you like that sort of thing. The homes are comfortable condos arranged in groups of 20 units surrounding a pool and hot tub. You're close to El Paseo and the dining and shopping options of Palm Desert so you have a good location going for you here also.

The gardening staff is rude. I am near a pool entrance and hub for the staff. They SLAM the gate at least 20 + times a day, speak loudly outside and generally act like THEY own the place. The condos are quite old, and the shared areas are not well maintained, other than the landscaping. Rude clicky kind of neighbors, no peaceful place to enjoy anything that is good. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. I cannot speak to the tennis and pickleball courts, as I do not play. Looking forward to leaving.

Right at the front was where the replacement section was. The gentleman's working were very sweet in explaining everything and helping us out with picking what we need. One was doing all the replacements while the other one was helping us out. From there, it just takes a couple minutes. It was fine which gave us time to walk around and check the store out. We literally only did half of the store as it was massive. There's sections along the sides where you can practice your swings electronically. A putting green right in the middle to practice. Besides all the clubs and accessories, half of the store had a big apparel department with loads to choose from. There was so many clubs to choose from as well as whatever you may or may not need. If you're a golfer, this is like Willy Wonka factory but golf. Worth checking out.

I was testing out a putter on the practice green and simply moving golf balls out of the holes and toward the side of the putting surface when an employee abruptly approached me in a rude and demeaning manner, accusing me of "kicking his balls," which was completely untrue. The way he spoke to me was unnecessary, insulting, condescending, and unprofessional from the very beginning. When I asked for his name, he replied "Jim, the assistant manager" with a cocky attitude before walking away. About 10 minutes later, after apparently getting off his shift and changing clothes, Jim approached me again and sarcastically asked if I needed help with the putter. Considering the disrespectful way he had already spoken to me, I found it strange and antagonistic that he came back over at all. I told him I didn't understand why he was even speaking to me after treating me the way he did. The entire interaction left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable, especially coming from someone in a management position. I will be contacting corporate because customers should never be treated in such a hostile and condescending manner.

This gated community is immaculate and such a pleasure to visit and the club itself offers everything you can imagine. The views are absolutely gorgeous! While I was there as a parent and a player, I have to say that the staff was super friendly and I really appreciated the kindness they offered when I was dealing with a sick child this past Sunday. Lastly, we thought we could at least end the meal on a sweet note by ordering dessert. So, we ordered a tiramisu. Guess what? It came out FROZEN! OMG I've never been so embarrassed in my life. Our guests were thinking of joining the club and that's why we had dinner. I can't imagine they'd even consider joining now. I'm so sorry.
