Drove out here last week with some buddies from Menifee. Took 1ht 45 min to get there. For a municipal golf course it is very expensive. I have played at some that are just as decent for $15 for 9 holes and replay is $8. So for almost $50 plus $15 for a cart it is a little expensive for what you get. With that being said they are building a large pro shop / restraunt. Maybe thats the justification for the higher fees. The starter/marshall was friendly and knowledgeable. There were some teens and some that maybe should stick to the range a few more times before they come to a course. I should have to wait to tee off so that you can take your 3rd shot from the middle of my fairway and be pointed backwars back to your hole. All the holes are par 3, so its fairly quick. Took three of us about 2 hrs 20 min and thats with having to wait for a group in front of us to pick it up. The greens are decent and challenging. If you go in the middle of the day its not as busy. Our tee time was 4:40 and the course was pretty empty but as we finished the front 9 it was getting busy and by the time we finished the 18th it was packed. It was fun but for the price we can find PGA level courses closer to us. read more

Great par 3 golf course that was only a few minutes away from where we were staying. There is a post office attached to the clubhouse which I thought was interesting. The clubhouse itself is pretty small and there's a nice outdoor area to sit and eat or hang out. This was one of the more decently priced courses and was pleasantly surprised with the course which was pretty well kept although the greens were a little dry making them fast. All of the holes were pretty straight with water on a few holes and surprising no bunkers. Also of note is there were a lot of shaded areas and some of them had benches placed under trees, very pleasant. I had a good time here and would like to come back and play at night which I suspect is a little more popular. read more

Stopped by this cool golf course at Indio while on vacation at Palm Springs It is super hot during the summer so night time golf with the lit up course is perfect! We went to use the driving range specifically. Closes at : 10pm Last call/payment: 9pm The driving range has a bunch of spots on the grass, balls are already laid out for you to use. A putting range is also only a few steps away. $15 per person and golf club rentals are available. When you get there, walk into the small building/shop and tell them what you're the for. As a first time golfer i had no idea what I was doing and asked for help. The guy working there has some really good advice and was super friendly. Wow, the fee's have really gone up for this little municipal course.. $40 per person PLUS $15 for Each person in the golf cart ( if you choose to use a cart) so $110 for a couple to play!? WOW And rude young customer service people. read more

This place is more of a high school hangout than a golf course/range. Bunch of arrogant kids under little to no supervision doing whatever they want. They will literally drive up behind you at the hitting bays and start chit chatting with all their friends. I thought this place was on the up and up with the new layout but it was better ran when it had the awful, uneven mud bays to hit out of. I live 2 mins from here but id rather drive the 20-25 mins to The First Tee. Atleast that place is ran professionally. read more

Great way to get your golf fix in the summer by playing after the sun's gone down. The staff was very nice & the lights lit up the course well. Narrow 3 par course, where you get to meet other players crossing over fairways to get to their/your ball. It was quite windy when we went, which made it challenging. But, still nice to walk since it's mostly flat. read more

Fun course to play at night! The clubhouse is somewhat outdated. The course is all par 3, however the course does not have a cart path which gets annoying and confusing. Would also like to see them stay open later; there's not much night golf when it gets dark at 8:30 and they close at 9. read more

The place to practice before you hit the links in the Coachella Valley. There is an excellent grass targeted driving range with a view of the mountains in the distance. In addition, there arwe separate chipping and putting practice areas to hone your short game. The staff are friendly and the cost is very reasonable. read more

Do NOT plan to play foot golf here, it is VERY unsafe. I wouldn't feel safe golfing at this course either. The fairways are very close together, with not very experienced golfers playing all around and balls were flying at us from all directions. We only got through the first hole of foot golf before we were almost hit by 4 balls and we returned for our money back. I would recommend a helmet if you come out to this course, lol! read more

I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am with this facility. I started golfing 7 years ago and it was one of my favorite places to learn to golf as it was affordable and accessible. Unfortunately, since Covid, their rates (because they don't tell you they charge $10 per riddler, per cart) have been raised to rival that of a full 18 hole course. The range has little grass to hit on, bays are often unavailable, and is patrolled by an overly grouchy, annoying man in a cart with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. They recently decided to charge $15 to chip and putt only... which is completely unreasonable! I live in a neighborhood close by and this was one of my favorite evening options that I can now no longer enjoy. I unfortunately have heard countless stories of others bad experiences and find it sad that I can only agree with them now. read more

Nice 18 hole par 3. Best to come weeknights. Good to walk it though carts are available. Great for beginners and seasoned players to practice short game. Been here a number of times both night and daytime. Weekend daytimes can be slow play but weeknights are wide open. Staff are super nice and accommodating. Came here a few months ago when some friends visited in the evening for some night golf! First off the the starter, older gentlemen, was SUPER awesome and really set the round off with a BIG SMILE. It's a fun par 3, some of the holes could have been maintained a little better, however overall it was a fun course and good time. + where else can you play night golf locally?! Seems small and unimpressive from the outside but once you're in...whew! I absolutely loved this course and the people were so friendly and sweet. Not many shade spots near the tees so make sure to ride instead of walking! Oh, and they give you free ice if you bring a cooler. Awesome! Exceptional outside service as soon as we entered from a young gentleman named Nico. After checking in I ordered some snacks and the prices were very reasonable for how good it was and how fast it came out. the carts are very nice with a gps telling you the yardage. Fun unique golf experience. Greens surprisingly nice. Challenging but not difficult holes. Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Only downside is its so crowded somebody's going to die. We had a ball rattle around in our cart on 1 and I was actually nailed standing on 3rd green. Lots of other close calls. read more

Fantastic. Pace of play was leisurely. The greens were a little wonky but the course is maintained nicely. This is a great course to practice your short game. I recommend renting a golf cart. We play here everytime that we come to Indio. It's flat and easy to walk. You can get on the course and it doesn't break the bank. Their rental walking carts are getting very worn out. It's not a fancy course but it is challenging and fun. read more

"The Lights" at night were a perfect antidote to playing during the unbearably high temperatures during the desert days. Fun summer fare golfing in the beautiful evening on this par 3 course. It was challenging enough for my friend who is a solid golfer and enjoyable for a rookie like me. The manager was friendly, helped us check in quickly, and made us feel like he was happy to have us there. The grounds were a little rough, cart was clean, and the shop had well-priced items in case you need a last minute purchase. Convenient location. Perfect for the beginner as it is a par 3, 9 hole short course. Only one hole, the last one, involves water which is easily avoided, even by beginners. Landscaping is a bit tired out and no bells and whistles like beverage carts or coolers since it is owned by the City of Indio but great for beginners, children or women learning golf as it is not crowded, inexpensive yet a few of the holes are challenging in length. read more

The family and I decided to get out of the OC for the weekend and head out to a resort in Indio. We get into town late and I see the course with lights on, so I decided to hit the range. I get there on a Friday night at 9 pm, and the pro shop is closed. The sign says they are open till 10, but the doors are locked, lights out in the pro shop and nobody is home. There are people on the course and a few guys on the range, but I could not get any balls for the range. I thought this was odd as the sign said they are open till 10pm. I find some young guys putting carts away and asked them what was going on and they did not know, they said the guy running the shop locked it up for the night and went home. This was my first impression and first visit to this course. Not good! I decided to give it another shot and head on over to the course in the morning to hit the range. Gloria was working the counter and she was very nice and friendly, which was great to see after the disappointment from the night before. The range was a great deal for the price. You can't find grass range prices anywhere close to this price in Orange County. I like the idea that you can chip and putt for free. As a lot of the places in OC charge to practice chipping. While I was there I could see the instructor David working with the juniors. He had such enthusiasm working with kids. It's great to see an instructor with a passion for teaching golf. I see so many instructors just doing rapid fire repetitive type lessons, so it's good to see instructor giving kids great informative lessons. I am giving it 3 stars. I would of gave it 4 stars for the friendly staff and low prices, but not being open at 9pm when the sign says open till 10pm is the reason for the 3 stars. read more

Worst managment I have ever seen . Dave doesn't seem like he cares spends more time napping in the back then helping customers or busy pretending to be busy with who knows what . He spends more time with his junior golf then actually doing his job. Don't spend your money or time there . read more

My husband and I had a lot of fun on the driving range. Affordable, great customer service and a nice facility all around.

This review is for driving range. I go multiple times to practice, each time, always the same issues. Last night was the worse. I pay for balls, find an open spot, and guess what, no balls. Wait a few, no staff checks, then I see them standing around, goofing off in the corner, and go tell them myself and many others need balls. Another 10 goes by, staff still goofing off, go tell them again, finally get the hint. Happens every time, either the staff goof off, or hide on their phones. But when they come around and tell you how much time you have left in your hour, that is what did it for me. I stand around for 20 minutes waiting on them and they tell me to leave soon. Place used to be better, hope management gets the point, Be nice if they answered their phone. I see others go inside and tell them to bring balls too. Other ranges charge the same and you can actually hit off grass, not garbage dirt. read more

I'm thinking the guy before might have never played this course because he was only half right. This is an 18 hole par 3 course. In fact, they say it's the longest playing par 3 course in the nation. It plays very long with a few holes playing 200 yrds or more. The course is still very very walkable. I'd say 60% of the people who play are seniors and walk the course (they do have electric golf carts as well). With that said, the pace of play is always great. I've never had to wait at a hole for people to finish. It's also the only fully lit COURSE around and is open until 10 P.M. The lights work great and makes it incredibly visible while playing at night when the weather cools down. AWESOME!!! The condition of the course is always in good condition. It's not meticulously maintained like a resort course or anything, but it's always in good playable condition all year round. The greens are always in great shape as well. There's water that comes into play on 4 of the 18 holes witch is pretty nice, and not the least bit intimidating. There are also no houses in sight so you don't have to worry about that either. The grass driving range is pretty big but just OK. The grass on the range usually needs a little attention because of it's frequent use, but is still very hittable when you need to work on your game. The balls they have for range are GREAT. They're always clean and new callaway and taylormade range balls so you can get accurate shots and yardages. The price is very very good. For only $10 you get a jumbo bucket, and it is huge enough for 2 or 3 people to share. It takes me over 2 hours to finish one by myself (I usually share with my daughter). Their large is only $5 and is the size of most places jumbo. AND just like the course it's lit up and open until 10 P.M. when the weather is nice. The staff is always nice and personable with a great sense of humor. Their golf pro Dave Ruvolo is excellent and has a wonderful way of teaching people and making it fun and comfortable no matter how experienced you are. He's a very friendly and down to earth guy. My daughter has been taking lessons from him weekly and absolutely loves going. He makes learning the game fun and easy. The rates are very good as well (about $20-$25, $5 to replay) so you can afford to golf out here in the desert where most courses will be $100+ during the season. I couldn't afford to golf out here until I found this place. I avg. in the mid 80's to low 90's and still find this course very fun to play. Now I come frequently so my daughter and I can hang out together and golf. She's 7 and the golf pro got her having fun and loving the game witch is so so cool for me, and now she asks me if I want to go golfing. I love it. Sorry for making this review so long but this is a great place to come out, relax, and have FUN. If you've never been there go and give it a shot. You won't regret it. read more
