We go to the go-karts, he says he's NOT tall enough. We go to the front to ask for a refund because the ticket is not usable for him. They give us a bunch of crap excuses about waiting for the manager. I've seen the reviews about the manager and I'm not ready to speak to Amy. They consider giving us 19$ and they immediately change their minds and make up the most BS excuses. Terrible maintenance, rude service, exspensive, and not worth it! Don't come here. Btw I'm 11 writing this review not an adult so think about the next time you consider about going to boomers. If an 11 year old is writing a bad review then you must no ITS BAD! The three dream MLB fields -- Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, and Yankee Stadium -- have outfield walls painted to look like the real parks, complete with crowds and replica scoreboard. These fields looked well-maintained. Our grandson's games were in "Yankee Stadium" under the lights and "Fenway Park". These fields are laid out so their home plates are adjacent separated by stadium seating and a "Stadium Club" with a full service bar and food. The food we tried was not so good (2/5), including cardboard pizza and cold French fries. Parking is tight. Admission is $8 pp for a full day with in-and-out privileges.

One plus is foul ball nets above the stadium seats, but without shade there you'll want to avoid them for day games when the sun is out. Needs some true improvement.

Out of 6 restrooms, only 1 was open during a soccer game and multiple baseball games. There was no light, barely any toilet paper, the toilet was beyond clogged and no running water from the sink to top it all off. It gave me "Monet" vibes, from far away everything looks nice, but up close it's just a big mess. Take pride in your city parks and do better.

In addition, I had my pickleball bag on the ground and the ants got in there too. I had my bag on my shoulders when I left not realizing there were fire ants on them. I got several more bites. Needless to say, my arm and leg where I got bitten started puffing up and itchy. Next thing I know, I was scratching my scalp and all over my body. My lip and eyes started puffing up. I drove home and took 2 Benedryl and jumped into the shower. It was very scary. My hand and arm where I got the bites are still swollen today.

As a former High School coach currently coaching my 9 year old, we frequently find ourselves at…read moremany of the indoor hitting facilities in my area. His current team has 1 practice per week at 5 Tool San Marcos. There is a 2nd (original) facility in Carlsbad (off Palomar Airport Rd area). Both sites are great facilities, the newer San Marcos (San Elijo) complex is cleaner and also seems much bigger. They have a dedicated area for pitching as well, with private coaching. The San Elijo facility is very clean with a dedicated staff always willing to assist. I'm guessing there are 15 tunnels in total? You can rent one and your coach or Dad/Mom whoever can throw to you or feed you balls. If flying solo? Staff will step in. They also provide private and semi-private lessons for both hitting and pitching and the coaching is solid! Another cool variable is the nets are all on rollers so you can pull them to side and clear a bigger space to hit ground balls if so desired. My son's competitive team rents out a section that encompasses 3 tunnels that they pull the best to make half-tunnels and then create a station for grounders.
