    Game is purposely rigged.

Food is VERY bland. All four of us ate half of one plate. Wasted $50 then played games and the machine pictured is purposely meant to take your credits and not give anything back. Tried three times (6 credits each) then called for the manager. He tried and exact thing happened and he looks at me and states it's because the toys are too heavy. I asked for a refund because even if you tried going for the balls underneath, because they're light, it's impossible because the stuffed ones are packed together on top. They then told me I can't get a refund because that's just how the game is with the toys. So knowing it does that to multiple people they won't even adjust the settings to make it pick up anything at the very least.

Great place to stop when super hungry! The food is good quality for a buffet and pizza is continuously set out. We thought it might be bad because of the reviews but the lady who greeted us and all of the workers were super nice. It seems as if the bad reviews misrepresent this place. You can order whatever pizza you can think of as well! Go check it out!

Fresh salad bar. Got and fresh pizza, pasta and chicken. Definitely miss the biscuits they use to have.

Every visit seems to create another unforgettable memory. One of my clients' families especially loved kids' night, and it turned into such a fun and memorable experience for them. As for my own family, we've learned to schedule later dinner reservations because once we're there, it's hard to leave! Some of my sweetest memories are from bringing my mother here while she was still with us. We often ended up being the last ones there at closing because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Kevin and his staff were always incredibly gracious, never making us feel rushed, and consistently treating us like family. That kindness leaves a lasting impression. Reading some of the less-than-positive reviews honestly surprises me because our experience over the years has been consistently wonderful. We've always received excellent service, enjoyed the entertainment, appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and beautiful views from every table, and loved the nostalgia throughout the restaurant and memorabilia. And the food? Absolutely enjoyable every time. Considering the unique experience, atmosphere, entertainment, and very reasonable pricing, I think expectations should be balanced accordingly. Personally, I genuinely enjoy the food here -- often more than at many other restaurants in town. This place is special, and we will continue making memories here for years to come.

As an Elite Yelp Reviewer, I seldom, if ever rate something one star. To achieve that low of a…read morerating the establishment has to miss on every category - food, service,, and the theme or mission of their place (when they have one). Screamers Family Restaurant, unfortunately, forced me to rate them a single star for those very reasons. We wanted to try it as we'd heard from a friend or two that it was good. And to be fair, my harsh review is just "my opinion". The establishment was very busy when we entered with mostly families, many of multiple generations. Our table for our party of four was located near the front, by the check-in and the bar, was two nondescript square tables, pushed together and basic metal chairs with a slight pad on the seat and back. Nothing special, just functional. Our server took a while to appear. Maybe she was "performing". Screamers is a "musical performance restaurant" where the servers take turns grabbing the mic and belting out loud (and not always good) show tunes and songs from the theater performances they've done in their "other job". I expected really good vocals. Only one of four had that. And It was very loud. And that's not something I generally note in my reviews. I believe a loud restaurant is one where people are enjoying themselves. In this case the restaurant was loud because the servers made it so by screaming into the mic...hence the name? Once our server arrived, we ordered appetizers. She raved about their wings, so we went for them. I specifically and carefully explained to her that I wanted 12 wings "naked" with two sauces on the side - BBQ and Buffalo. I also asked for both Ranch and Blue Cheese for dipping. In about 15 minutes what arrived was 12 wings - 6 tossed in BBQ and six in Buffalo with two servings of Ranch on the side. A total miss. I mentioned it to her and she said - "Oh, I'm sorry about that." - and then exited. I was dumbfounded. In two minutes she was "screaming" into the mic. I wondered....is she here to serve or sing? She seems unable to do both. With atmosphere, service, and theme covered - let's get to the food. We ordered two grilled salmon, "Prime" rib, and meatloaf. The salmon was overdone, but looked good. The potatoes and fries served with each were acceptable. The "Prime" rib was a tough piece of beef rib that was almost inedible. My order - their "famous" meatloaf was not good at all. First of all, it was sliced into rectangular medallions that were then microwaved and topped with a fairly tasteless tomato sauce. This is the first time I've EVER had meatloaf that was sliced, reheated and then covered to the point of no recognition with sauce...at least place it under the broiler and sear the sauce to the top! Now with all of this said, I'm sure the owners of Screamers are good people with great hopes and intentions. And the reviews we've heard from others were that the place was good. So maybe I experienced the perfect storm...or maybe my expectations are just too high and others have much lower expectations and are happy here. But my belief is that I need to be honest in my opinion. I worked in a steakhouse in my college years. Met my wife there. I'm a foodie and I love trying new restaurants. I tried Screamers Family Restaurant and I don't think I'll try it again. It was a rare "One-Star" for me. You may feel differently if you try it. To each his own.

I came here once by myself…read more(ordering to go) and then with my colleagues towards the end of the trip as a sit down meal. The food is plentiful here. I tasted the mixed appetizer (huge portion even the small one), Rogan Josh Lamb, Chicken Vindaloo, and Chicken Tikki Kadai. I like how even when ordering to go, you get a lot of "stuff." A large container of Raita, Papadums, and you still get your salad/soup. Needless to say, the leftovers served as my work week's meal prep. The only complaint I have is that the meat in most of my dishes weren't necessarily the most tender. Also, the vindaloo that I ordered at the restaurant didn't have that sour taste that is typically associated with it. But the service was top notch each time and I'm glad this place is around to save out of towners from eating bar food every night.

I always get the spinach bread, which is naan-stuffed with paneer and spinach, and is so soft and melt in your mouth delicious. I dream about the naan. Then for my main, I get the lamb bhuna with the soup on the side. I've tried a few other main courses and I honestly think the Lamb bhuna is the most flavorful thing on the menu, and a spiced so well. The mint chutney that they have to dip with the naan is also so good. I could probably drink it. I crave the oven so often. It's definitely a very busy restaurant so I would recommend making a reservation beforehand, otherwise you'll probably be waiting a pretty long time! The patio Haymarket location is super nice when the weather is good.
