This is our go to don't feel like cooking place. Food is good. Always good service. Homemade salsas and the prices are good. Especially when you go for the specials

Let's start with our guacamole being brown and tastes very acidic as if it was going bad! We ordered asada fries and well some were raw still but some soggy at the same time! Meat was extremely dry and hard to swallow! Definitely will not be returning

Four delicious medium sized carnita tacos, with extra onion and cilantro. (I forgot to ask for limes on the side, but still amazing!)

Pico Rico has the best carnitas tacos I've ever had. The customer service is always friendly towards me and they have amazing salsas! There isn't one I haven't enjoyed, but do wish they were a little spicer. I always order four tacos so I can have two for dinner and two for breakfast. The salsa Verde is the best for the carnitas. You can actually taste the orange in them!! So damn good! The chips are great as well. I definitely will have to branch out and try more things obviously, but I'll be sticking with the carnitas for now. Also, in the time it took me to get my five salsas, they were finished making my tacos. Awesome people and great service!

    All the charges

This place is the worst mexican food place in Santa Clarita. Not only the food tasted old but they also a major crooks. I left my card accidentally in the credit card slot and what this idiots do is wait till I leave and they charge me from their credit again another 10 bucks on top of my order and then next day I get over 250 charges from O'REILLY auto parts. This idiots are so dumb that they charged me 10 bucks first then moved to O'REILLY (obviously it's someone who works at this useless taco spot). Those charges will be refunded to me but I hope the owner of this place sell this spot because as soon as I am done blasting them on local social media, this place will not stay in business too long. I will make sure they suffer and loose their business. To you Mr owner- years later when you think how I lost my money and business, come back to yelp and read this review again.

Beef Crispy Taco 8 oz. Rice and 8 oz. Refried Beans

As a picky eater I was shocked to say this food was insanely amazing, I had a bite of the chicken taco and was in shock and the second I had a bite of the beef with the juice dripping down my hands I knew this was my new favorite spot, I don't even like salsa but the green salsa they gave me brought it all together. Was made quickly

Macho breakfast burrito was burnt! Why would you allow this to go out for delivery? DoorDash will not refund. Still waiting for refund.

They are a bit out of our way, and while good, nothing there was so spectacular that I would make a special trip for it, but it was good. They are located in a strip mall location, very non-descript, and the build out is basic but clean. My daughter had described it as a "hole in the wall, but good food" restaurant. That's pretty accurate. We were greeted immediately and in a very friendly manner as soon as we entered. It seemed slow for a Friday night, but we were on the early side. We were seated at a table and brought water, chips and salsa right away. The salsa is thin and spicy, and had a good tasted to it. My wife ordered a Cadillac margarita, and I ordered a regular. The drinks were a generous pour, and they didn't scrimp on the tequila. The Grand Marnier was brought in a shot glass. Both my wife and I enjoyed our drinks. My chile relleno combo was very good, some of the biggest freakin' chiles I've seen. They tasted great and were served piping hot with rice and beans. We were visited several times by ownership. The service was top rate and very friendly. So...not enough for me to return, but that's only because of distance from our house. We have our usual place 3 minutes away, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a first choice for you.

My current favorite is the chicken mole. It's nice to find somebody who really puts their heart and soul into making a good mole. Nutty and chocolatey undertones give way to a nice subtle spice. Absolute perfection. Another favorite is the shrimp enchiladas. The shrimp were incredible and tasted like wild shrimp. I asked the owner what type of shrimp they use and sure enough, they use wild caught shrimp. I chatted with the owner a bit and she is super passionate about her food. They do have their hard liquor license. The skinny cucumber margarita is superb. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Today we went for brunch, our first time. Awhile back the restaurant mailed BOGO free brunch cards to households in the area, and since this was the 2nd to last weekend to use, we went. Came in a little after 11, not very busy (The Vineyards tend to get very busy later in the day on weekends) I order a Spicy Watermelon Passion Fruit Agua Fresca - it was good, but the Watermelon was so overwhelming it was hard to taste the passionfruit. My mom had the breakfast tacos (not pictured) which she liked a lot, I had the avocado toast and added ahi tuna. The toast may look small at first, but was very rich and filling. I will say I was surprised to see the tuna in lox-like strips, but maybe that's because I'm used to ahi tuna either seared or in chunks poke style. All in all, a very nice experience. I think i wanna go back and try the pancakes.

(It did look like they had heaters outside though - not too sure if they were turned on). We were seated around 7:40 and we had two waiters. We asked what the margarita flavors of the day were, and they had hibiscus, jicama cucumber, and a jalapeño pineapple. I opted for the jalapeño pineapple, while my partner got the Sabor. For appetizers we ordered the trio dip and taquitos. For entrees, we ordered the al pastor street tacos, and Enchiladas Sabor. For dessert we ordered the nutella filled churros. I believe our bill was around $135. Pros: everything came out so quickly! Drinks were LARGE. Timing of the food: Drinks were out in five minutes, appetizers in ten mins of ordering, and entrees in fifteen minutes of ordering. The service was also great. Our waiter came in and checked on us, but wasn't overbearing. The quality of the food was also great. I kept saying everything felt very elevated and a great place to go for a nice dinner. I did not do any research before coming here. This was a place that my partner chose, so the two comments that I made (which I later found out was also commonly noted on Yelp) was that the Chips & Salsa were not free, and that my enchiladas did not come with rice and beans. Typically, when I go out for Mexican food, there are certain things I look forward to, so I was a little thrown off that they weren't provided here. The trio dip was a great option because it did have a bean dip as well as salsa, but it was just a bummer that it was an extra charge. Overall: great service, quality of food, very efficient, and plenty of parking.

Upon first impressions, you'll notice brick walls combined with striking decor such as crosses, candles, and black-and-white paintings of women in traditional wear. The sunshine brought in some warmth to the main hall, though we were seated in a sectioned off area on the left which was more dimly lit. All the while, songs from Luis Miguel's catalogue were playing in the background. Everything that was ordered was presented with delicate precision. I was particularly interested in the Crepas Mexicana, and when it was served the folks around me give the dish the proper amount of oohs and ahhs. Layered poblano crepes filled with shredded chicken and avocado on top of a yellow bell pepper sauce base that was both velvety and hearty. Since it was also one of our friend's birthday, the waitstaff brought out a bowl of ice cream with a candle.

I walked up, gave my name and party size, and was greeted with an eye roll so dramatic it deserved its own IMDb credit. Instead of a basic "we'll have a table shortly," the response came back in a tone that suggested I had personally ruined her evening by existing. Then, in what might have been the most puzzling part of the interaction, she suggested I sit at the bar with my child instead of waiting for a table. I'm all for creative seating solutions, but family dinner at the bar probably isn't the hospitality move most restaurants are aiming for. Unfortunately, the food didn't redeem the experience. The chicken in both the enchiladas and the tacos was extremely dry -- the kind of dry where you start wondering if it had been reheated one too many times. On top of that, everything was noticeably under-seasoned, which is surprising for dishes that should normally be packed with flavor. The strangest moment came when the server stopped by and asked how everything was. I answered honestly and said the food was bad. The response? A quick "thank you." No follow-up, no concern, no offer to fix anything -- which pretty much summed up the entire experience. The restaurant itself looked lively and the space seemed nice enough, but first impressions matter. Restaurants spend thousands designing ambiance, menus, and lighting... and then sometimes forget the very first human interaction is the hostess. Between the welcome, the food, and the lack of response when we mentioned it, the whole visit just missed the mark. If the goal was a memorable dining experience, mission accomplished -- just not for the reasons anyone hopes for when they go out to dinner.

I had made a large party reservation over the phone. The worker confirmed the date, time, and party size with me. They even asked for my full name, number, and credit card information. All this just for the reservation to be nonexistent when we arrived. Not only was it an inconvenience, but now I don't know where my card information was left. The manager was willing to accommodate us but we still had to wait 35 min for the table we should've had. But once we sat down, that annoyance was over. It wasn't until we started ordering where things went South. Our server barely checked on us, at one point we didn't even know who our server was anymore. Drink orders were missing or untimely, and the food took FOREVER. There were 2 people in our party who didn't receive their plates until we all finished eating ours. We decided to risk it and order dessert and unfortunately had the same issue. Again, I think there just needs to be more communication within the staff and more employees working. If some changes could be made, I could see myself coming back for happy hour or a Taco Tuesday for drinks and live music. It's cute inside, I just hate wasted potential. SCV needs more gems and this could be one!
