This movie theater was extremely fun to go to to see a movie. Not only is getting the tickets and being able to pick your seat an easy thing to do, but it's more fun once you get inside and can set up your seat as comfy as you'd like. You can adjust it however you'd like and make it so you can put your feet up. The parking lot is also pretty spacious so there should always be plenty of parking and the theater has plenty of good films to choose from. However, if you come here at night be very cautious in the parking lot as it can be pretty dark and it's easy to get lost too if you don't know where you parked. But I would still recommend going to this theater to watch any movie that is currently showing. Give it a shot. read more

The facility is very clean and the staff are friendly and fast. You can purchase tickets online or at a kiosk on site. Either way is quick and convenient. The price for two adults, for a 3 D movie, was 24.38. We purchased a large tub of popcorn ( which was delicious), a bottle of water and a large soda. The total was $22.95. The chairs are large, comfy and recline. The aisles are very wide so no one is banging your knees when they enter or exit. Quite a few handicap seats were available and provided the same comfort. As with all theaters the sound is loud so if you are sensitive ( like myself) bring ear plugs. The theater was the same temp as most others I have attended. If you tend to be on the colder side bring a comfy blanket or a coat. Lots of parking! read more

If you're out here in Prescott Valley, I can't imagine it gets any better than this. For the price, you get to reserve your seats online and they're fully reclining leather seats as well. Don't think they have warmers like AMC but it's your locally owned theater. This is the best it's gonna get. I've come here a few times now. Honestly, it's pretty decent but it's definitely dated and could use a few repairs. I think it's theater 2 that has like a slightly damaged screen that becomes more obvious when they're projecting something bright. The concessions are moderately priced and you do earn points for purchases as well as tickets. They have a tub option for the popcorn but if you're sharing it can be cumbersome because they don't really offer you anything more than like the tiniest little paper boat that doesnt even really hold that much popcorn for the other people. The seats are pretty comfortable and new, with full recline and footrest and lots of space between rows to walk. I did find that when they are not reclined the headrest area is uncomfortable and presses your head forward, just alike all Lazy-Boy recliners do, which do not work for me at all, it was OK reclined. Some of the theaters have screens which are small but since there are not that many seats in each theater so it works out just fine. If you are in one of the smaller theaters, try to sit towards the back so that you are not looking up, as the theater doesn't have stadium style, pitched seating. The theater and bathroom were clean on the two times we went on a weekday afternoon; however the carpet in the hallways is old and a bit musty, that could use a refresh. You self check in for your tickets at a kiosk and there are only two kiosks, which was fine when we went. At the kiosk there is a sign stating that you can also check in at the concession stand. read more

Went to the Picture Show movie theater (cause we were told it was nice and the seats are top tier) and it's probably the WORST theater I've ever been in. The soda fountain is broken, they only have HI-C, tea or water. The "food" they have is disgusting I threw away the mozzarella sticks I ordered after taking one bite and the floors are completely covered in popcorn..everywhere like they don't clean anything... The recliner seats are about the only "nice" thing here...never coming back after this..definitely should get a refund for how trashed everything is and this wasn't cheap considering tickets were $26 and food was $23 read more

Seats are great, picture quality is lacking! Watched the Sinners here and need to rewatch because the quality was so low and non existent you couldn't see anything really. Most of the scenes take place at night and it was just mostly a dark screen with moving objects. Just took my kids to see lilo and stitch and it was better but the quality just isn't there. read more

I decided to give Picture Show a go because Harkins takes all my money on food. It's a great deal for the price of tickets, food and comfy leather seats! I was so ecstatic when I purchased all this food for my son and I expecting to hear, "That will be $43." BUT the guy said, "that will be $21(I used free medium drink first time customer." I was like what?! Music to my ears, I spend on average $38-40+ at Harkins with just my son and I on their food, after this experience I now know I'm being ripped off at Harkins. Lol I will definitely start coming here to see our movies. The only cons, the appeal is a little outdated, they should update it to digital TV screens as their menus, there was popcorn all over the ground by the food area and my sons leather chair was ripped which all of this does not look appealing to the eye. Read mixed reviews and finally decided to try it. SO GLAD we did! We loved everything about it! The ever so comfortable leather recliners with foot rests were heavenly! Temperature in theatre was very comfortable even though there was a chilling rain outside. Sound quality excellent and size of facility not too big, not too small. With the canned lights in lobby, it felt quaint... not commercial. Popcorn was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Bathrooms very clean. A previous reviewer said it was old and musty. Wasn't at all. We liked it so much we're hoping movie choices change often enough to permit us to go weekly. We left smiling that we found a "movie home." read more

Our family's first visit and last visit...extremely disappointing. We ordered nachos and were given an expired bag of chips that were stale. When I told them, they gave us a new bag that wasn't expired. We ordered a combo with a large soda that was only 3/4 full. Again, I told them and they filled it up. We also had to remind them that the combo comes with a tub of popcorn. This was not a good first impression! We got to our seats and there was trash, crumbs and smudges all over them. The popcorn & nachos did not taste great either. The bathrooms were gross as well. Men's bathroom only had 2 stalls available to use - all urinals were out of order. Womens bathroom stunk like mildew and water dripping from the ceiling- on me! I told the employees at the front and they said they are aware and it's supposed to be fixed on Monday (it's Friday). I don't usually take the time to write reviews but I am hoping this place will get a manager/owner that truly cares to make it better. It looks like cleanliness has been an issue for quite a while... DONT COME HERE! So I came to this movie theatre for the first time today, with my partner and parents to see the new Beetlejuice movie.. I'm a huge Harkins Theatre fan and always go there, but decided to try something new for a change. (Huge mistake) First impressions upon entering the building was that it was extremely dirty with food allll over the floors. I looked around for an usher to check our tickets and saw no one. Finally we decided to just walk to the food counter to show our tickets to someone (I got the tickets online) and to be directed to our theatre. All employees working there seemed to be high schoolers, aside from the manager who was extremely dry and showed no interest in us being there, with no greeting or smile. We were finally given our printed tickets, and headed to the theatre. At first glance in the slightly dimmed theatre, it appeared clean, until we went to sit in our seats and got a closer look. Our seats were literally covered in crumbs, arm rests had sticky soda and nacho cheese spots all over, and upon setting my drink in the cup holder, I felt something inside and went to took my drink out, revealing a cup holder full of liquid and more food crumbs.. disgusting. I sat in irritation for a few minutes before deciding to go speak to the manager. I am a pretty quiet person, and don't typically ever initiate conversation regarding issues at restaurants etc... but this was just disgusting. I was so disappointed bc I spent $50 on these tickets for 4 of us, to receive awful service, and to sit in a nasty chair. Upon manager approaching me to ask what was wrong, I said there is food all over mine and my families chairs and she continued to grab a used/stained rag from the food counter, and began walking to the theatre I was in. She walked to the aisle I sat in and began "cleaning" my chair/arm rest. She barely wiped anything off, and began walking away when at this point I was pissed. I said "not really clean but okay.." as there was still cheese sauce all over the arm rest. She comes back over and smartly responds "okay so where else do you need me to clean". She then scrubbed for another second and walked off. Worst experience I've ever had in a movies theatre, and I've always had good experiences everywhere I've gone. Lastly, the Exit sign shined a huge red light across the screen throughout the entire duration of the movie.... One of which I have seen multiple people leave reviews on for months and even years, that no one has yet to fix.. shows the lack of effort and poor management here. I would leave 0 stars if I could. So sad! I usually refer my customers here, but no more! Building opens at 1045am. First showing, our movie starts at 1055am. We enter at 1045am to a long line for concessions. Now, we are late getting to our movie by 10+mins. Building should open at 1030am. Next visit, today, we sit here in the theater 20mins after the movie was to start in the dark. No movie, nothing playing. Informed staff (manager) twice with no result. She was more concerned about getting the concession line down than our delay! UPDATE: Now the manager cant get our movie to play, just wasted 45mins and purchased this food for no reason!!! While waiting to speak to the manager again (still no movie), another couple comes behind us complaining their movie didn't start in a different theater. OMG, this place has major issues! No customer service. No more recommendations to my customers. read more

The screen in theater #8 is so worn out in the middle that it is transparent and super distorted and is severely distracting. In addition, the exit sign is so bright it illuminates the right side of the screen. They need an upgrade!!! The place is a dump. Both bathrooms were disgusting, faucets not working, paper towel dispenser not working, one urinal not working. Looks like the caulk around the working urinal was applied by a 4 year old. We bought our tickets online. When we arrived, a sign said go to the concession stand to buy tickets. Took 10 minutes to get tickets. The 'fancy" reclining seats were dirty and several within my view were "repaired" with black duct tape. About 30 minutes of previews and ads before the movie started. Looks like the owner is more interested in profit rather than maintenance and having enough employees to run the place. read more

I appreciate the modest prices; however, the theaters and seats are in poor condition and unkempt. I ALWAYS avoid the women's restroom (instead go to McDonalds or Starbucks in the same mall before/after). I have had too many occasions of finding the women's restroom a disaster. There is only one other movie theater in this area, so I guess Picture Show does not feel compelled to improve (and the run-down condition does not seem to deter patrons). read more

Tho movie going experience isn't what it used to be. We have the equipment available to get an equal (sometimes better depending on the crowd) experience at home. That being said we still enjoy going out to the movies a couple times a month. This is our go to theatre but it is getting run down. The reclining seats (the main reason we choose this theatre) are torn up, some are broken, and most of the time are nasty and feel as if they are never cleaned. Hopefully management gets on this before more people just stop going altogether. read more
