One or two issues with sound: one actor booming, other actors could hardly be heard. The house was packed, probably not a seat in the entire building. Chaparral Ice Cream once again sold snacks, coffee/tea and ice cream during intermission. A word on parking: valet parking for $3 (plus tip) is worth it in my opinion. Otherwise, you would end up walking a pretty far distance. Also, for those who need assistance, there is a courtesy golf cart to shuttle you to and from your car.

You can't smoke here because it is a High School, liquor is sometime served only inside the Center and you are not allowed to take it outside. As for the staff being rude I do not believe that ever happened, I have worked many shows there and we bend over backwards to make people feel comfortable. The only time any of Paul Thorns group were available to talk to was after the show and it was in the lobby. This is a great place to see some really good shows, do not pass up the chance to come and take in a show.

We've have Vulture City our list & we've finally checked it off before the summer came! We came here in March when the weather is perfect, but either way they're open from October - May for obvious reasons & it's all self guided tours! The buildings are well spaced out & there's lots of ground to cover so it takes a couple of hours to go through the whole site depending on how fast you're looking to go! The history is so different seeing it in the movies vs seeing a Billy the Kid Wanted poster in the real. There's several buildings to tour with all of their original artifacts & if you go too fast you might overlook some interesting things... like the License for Prostitution that i came across in the last house we toured! So glad that we finally made it here.... It definitely didn't disappoint!

Be sure to visit the museum located behind the learning center--we were initially confused and missed it the first time. The gift shop is beautiful, and everyone is very knowledgeable. I took my mom for a mother/daughter adventure on a Wednesday afternoon sightseeing cruise. You'll park at Pleasant Harbor and hop a ride down the docks on a shuttle cart (bring some cash for tips). We arrived early to enjoy lunch and drinks at Dillon's before our 2pm cruise. Check in 30 minutes prior and then set off for 90 minutes on the water. Adults are $30, kids $15, toddlers free. On the boat, you can sit inside on the main level or up top and outside. Grab some snacks and a beverage from the bar to really luxuriate. The captain narrates the cruise and gives great information about the lake, the dam, and the wildlife. As for wildlife, we saw a few bird species and wild burros on shore. We should have requested another area from start. Our fault on that. Service was attentive throughout the meal. Wine menu was out of date but we found a bottle to enjoy. We were under impression there was a dress code for dining room but apparently not as other groups came in wearing shorts. Food was average. My short ribs had much too much fat.
