While the staff and Star's husband were friendly once I engaged with them, I found Star's behavior to be standoffish and unwelcoming--an attitude I did not expect from a new business owner. After my first visit, I attributed my experience to the shop being newly opened. However, during my second visit, it became clear that this was the owner's true character. Liking a comment that lied and falsely judged my character and implying that you don't want me as a customer spoke volumes. Deleting all the comments and turning them off after I provided video evidence of the lie shows your true character. As for the shop itself, it is spacious and has a good selection of fabric. However, keep in mind that not all the fabric on display is for sale. Currently, they are open seven days a week. I wouldn't return to this store even if the fabric were free!

Half of the store is for fiber crafts and the other half is a gift shop with vintage-style offerings like drinking glasses, clothes, accessories, candleholders, and more. I really liked their yarn selection because I don't care for knitting with wool and they had lots of cotton, silk, and bamboo. Their prices are reasonable. I fell in love with yarn called Bamboo Bloom and bought two skeins. The woman who rang me up kindly gave me a copy of a pattern to knit with the yarn, a cute cowl. A knitting class was taking place near the back of the shop while we were there. I eavesdropped and was impressed with the instructor. They are the cheapest in the Seattle area here, and their prices beat most online vendors. [You get to support a great store with your purchase too!] THE STAFF: All the staff is lovely, but Nicole and Jen deserve special thanks and praise. I've done a number of private one hour lessons with Nicole. She has helped my skills grow so quickly--she is patient and provides the right amount of guidance. I have several Rosehearted dresses and sweaters that are in constant, probably weekly, rotation in my closet year round and love them all, the quality holds up and most dresses have pockets!! The cost is totally reasonable for every item too, and I'm known for being pretty frugal. In shop, there are also non-clothing items that were just so cute and fit the vibe, I wanted to buy them all but left with just my new favorite (handmade!) scrunchie, lip balm in a delicious honeysuckle scent, and a sweet little notebook.
