The some of the nurses at Dr. Varsha A. Kulkarni. MD , pulmonology ,one thing they not not want you to tell them anything about your own body just because they're nurses do not mean that they know your body better than you, some of the nurses is very unprofessional. But the Doctors are very, very, professional patient kind, nice, loving with you. You may say something they may not want to hear, but they'll never act it or show it like those nurses with attitudes. read more

I was admitted to the ICU for congestive heart failure out of nowhere in 2022, the employees in the ER were good, they explained to me what was happening and I had to be taken to the ICU due to congestive heart failure. I was taken to ICU and surrounded by what I took to be a gaggle of excellent concerned nurses. After that I was out in ICU under complete confusion and had a lot of questions. Enter Ada, the nightmare "ICU NURSE" she was awful, cruel and abusive I spent my first night in ICU confused and terrified. The other patient who shared the room behind a curtain suddenly died in the middle of the night, and then her immediate family- her son, his wife had been in and out to see her- came the next morning after she died. More fun for other patients, I remember one of the other nurses telling me how sorry she was I had to deal with that, and I wanted to cry just because she was being kind to me because "Ada" had been so cruel. Because of her, I was confused and didn't know what was happening and had to have the demon nurse "Ada" taking "care of me." If I knew that god awful women's last name I would post it. She was cruel, abusive, and completely unconcerned, which is odd, because all the other staff was kind and sympathetic. It was like she thought less of me so it was ok to treat me like a nonhuman. I remember one night the doctor in ICU came to talk to me and wanted a blood panel done, and "Ada" came back in carrying on about how she was supposed to be off, but I had said something to the doctor, and now she had to stay later and she had been on her feet since whatever am in the mourning. She was just an ugly person. But, it puts a hamper on all the other wonderful people in the ICU who were actually concerned and cared. God bless the ginger nurse Stephanie, who was so kind and concerned about me after the whole "nightmare nurse Ada" experience. She was a saving grace, nurse Ada whatever her last name is an awful, cruel, misaligned person who has no business being a nurse, much less one who cares for individuals in an ICU and traumatic situation. read more

This review only reflects our emergency room experience. We took our toddler here for an injured arm (he wasn't using it- we thought broken or something). We did NOT know there is a children specific ER just two or three blocks away otherwise we'd have gone there first. At no point during any of our check in process did someone mention this to us- which I get, more money for them but we waited for SO long to be seen and were the only people with a child. We were finally seen by a PA and then by the attending doc, they did an X-ray of his arm and couldn't see anything because he's small and they only have adult equipment. After 6+ hours of this waiting and waiting they decided to transfer us to the children's ER, so we ended up sending twice as long waiting around for answers. DO NOT GO HERE IF THE PATIENT IS A CHILD! We now have 2 ER bills to pay because nobody thought to let us know about Wellstar's children's hospital ER. read more

Patient care is good, rooms are too small, I don't like the idea of "Hospitalists" and would prefer to be seen by my own doctor, billing is horrible. I get bills weeks later that are not itemized, and calling and asking for such a bill is a waste of time. Once I was in Coronary Care for 2 days and got a bit for $2,000.00 for "room and board.' Piedmont Hospitalist- Had a loved one in this hospital. The Hospitalist are very cold, uncaring, and not at all concerned about the welfare of the patient. It is all about doing the bare minimum. The are extremely arrogant and insensitive. My loved one is elderly and we were basically told to let them die. If you have another hospital to go to, please do, dont trust these people with your loved one. read more

Admitted to hospital told I need a ct scan, kept asking when they would do it, told they were backed up 2 days. On my second day in hospital asked nurse to verify it had been scheduled. It was never ordered. The blood work they did in ER showed an infection, they never treated me in the hospital. They never mentioned the super bug virus that may have caused my problems. The doc doing rounds barely walks into your room, barely speaks and just tells you to follow up with primary. Ended up staying longer than needed and of course the bill with be astronomical. read more

worst hospital I have ever been at. never in my life have a sat and waited over 2 hours for xrays results !!!!!! say waiting on rooms but yet I go to have X-rays I seen plenty of rooms open. if ur only waiting to see a doc for the test result then why are you waiting 3 plus hours on a room for that? just don't add up and they make there job alot harder. promise go to doctor hospital and u will never wait this long!!!!
