I went here as opposed to going to the emergency room following a car accident. The "consultation" plus a shot in my back for pain and they are charging me $300. Staff was nice but they don't inform you that what you're signing lets them charge up to $299 for your visit. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. My fault signing without reading because I was only focused on my pain but what a crooked coat for less than a 30 min visit. Payment was blocked by my HSA so good luck getting it. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE! Choose many of the other options around. I went in for a flu test and tested negative. The doctor prescribed me 5 different medicines that did not align with the symptoms I had. I even got a call from the pharmacy that the prescription was sent to that let me know that a few of the prescribed medicines could not be taken at the same time as other prescribed medicines. On top of this horrible, unhelpful experience, my credit card was charged an additional $600 a month after my appointment without any explanation. Avoid this scam of a place. I wanted to take a moment to share something that has been sitting heavy with me since my visit to your Marietta location today on Dallas Highway. During my time there, I overheard one of the doctors speaking to a nurse in a tone that was incredibly dismissive and unnecessarily harsh. It genuinely made me uncomfortable--and I wasn't even the one being spoken to. The nurse, who has cared for me in the past, is one of the kindest and most attentive professionals I've encountered at your office. She was clearly upset by the way she was spoken to, and to be honest, she had every right to be. By the time my visit was over, she was gone--and that was deeply concerning. This is someone who clearly loves what she does and treats her patients with care and compassion. You can tell when someone shows up because they truly want to help people. Unfortunately, the way that doctor spoke to her felt condescending and completely uncalled for. It's upsetting to see someone like her be treated so poorly when she's clearly trying to do her best. Another thing I've noticed--especially over multiple visits--is that management seems to be rarely present, and when they are, they don't appear to have a good grasp of how things actually operate in a healthcare setting. That's concerning. It's one thing to oversee a clinic, but it's another to truly understand what your team is going through day to day. That lack of awareness shows--and it's the staff and patients who end up feeling the impact. To be completely honest, if I walk in and see that doctor again, I will walk right out. As a patient, I need to feel confident not only in the care I receive but also in how the people taking care of me are being treated. If nurses aren't being respected or supported, how are patients supposed to trust the care they're getting? I'm not writing this to cause trouble--I'm writing this because I care. I've had positive experiences here, and I hope to continue coming back. But something needs to change. These nurses deserve better, and your patients are watching. They were close to home. When I got there, the receptionist greeted us friendly. She assisted with the needed paperwork. From start to finish our visit was spectacular. They listened to what my medical need was and identified what it was quickly. I was even able to get the needed medication here within minutes. my mom has been going to vinings health park for all her doctors and they are great! unfortunately with or without an appointment it's always over an hour wait. I brought my 85 year old mother in July 3rd 2025 and she had severe abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhe. She is in heart failure, and I was told she needed to wait an hour and a half without anyone checking to see if she was having a heart attack or anything. I took her to ER and she was immediately hospitalized. I was extremely disappointed in the intakes sense of urgency. they didn't even evaluate her urgency to be seen. The doctor's and nurses are amazing if you can get to them. you need to to better when you call yourself urgent care and as my mother in chronic condition at 85 years old with heart failure to sit and wait for an hour and a half without even assessing her. read more

they failed to send over my prescription to CVS. when I called the first time they said it was an error in their system and to wait thirty minutes. The second time they hung up on me. The third time the nurse promised to call CVS and she never did. The fourth time I got a hold of them they said they'd already called, but neither pharmacist ever got a call. Each time there was a 10-15 minute wait to talk to someone. Still don't have my meds. Don't go here. read more

Pros: This facility is very clean. In fact, they were cleaning the waiting area when I arrived. I was the only one there, aside from two employees. Their instructions were clear & everyone had a friendly tone, which isn't always the case at medical facilities. I filled my information out in the car & didn't have to wait long after submitting it. The RN made sure I was comfortable & explained the COVID test procedure to me, then proceeded to administer it. It's really not as bad as I thought it'd be & it was over pretty quickly. Absolutely the most rude front desk staff I have observed in aedical facility. It was clear the issues all awaiting patients were not his fault, but the eye rolls, rude tone when speaking, ignoring people flat out, etc were not necessary. Not one patient was being rude to him; they were frustrated at the situation and just looking for answers with very rational questions. I overheard a lot of people being told they were out of luck, even after already sent away earlier in the day (WITH appointments) to come back later. This place seems like a mess. read more

Great facility and staff! Was in and out in less than a hour. I did not have an appointment and was able to be seen in a quick professional manner! Not all hero's wear capes, some wear scrubs! My PA Abegail was amazing, fast, and very knowledgeable to my issue. Annza the front receptionist was great in getting me in, filling out paperwork and having me seen as quick as possible. To Whom It May Concern: My daughter was exposed to poison ivy one week in May. It really popped out Friday in the middle of the night. By Saturday evening my seven year old was super itchy and inflamed. We just wanted a steroid or stronger cream to help the itching and inflammation subside. We had observed it all day on Saturday trying all manner of topical remedies to no avail. We called Wellstar Urgent Care and they said they could not see her due to age. We called your facility and they said please bring her in. The nurse, Courtney, was very empathetic and helpful. We signed in and waited our turn. The PA Reginald Malone looked at her and questioned that it was even poison ivy. He suggested she bumped her head and barely looked her over. I had to point out the irritated areas. He said it was an allergic reaction (obviously, to poison ivy!) and to take her to the ER. This is after my child had described what she touched and where she was to get the poison ivy. Her heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, and temperature were all perfectly normal; no nausea or any other symptoms. He said she need to be observed at the ER. He sent us away with nothing. And my child suffered the rest of the weekend itching. His under qualified and inexperienced assessment made her suffer unnecessarily. By the end of the visit he had my very stoic child in tears because he had questioned her story and scared her that she was having some freakishly unknown reaction to something else. We went to her pediatrician early Monday morning and saw the PA there. She prescribed a steroid upon immediately seeing the inflammation on her face, neck, torso, and eye. She knew immediately what to do without doubt or question. I contacted Ann Thomas, the manager of this location. She still charged us $300 for absolutely nothing. I'm not feeling well, so I got online for a virtual visit before coming in to get my Covid and strep test. This is what Piedmont recommends doing for an "efficient" process. Well, it's been 1.5 hours since my virtual visit and I still haven't been given results. They have signs everywhere saying to tell someone if I've been waiting more than 15 minutes but when I did, the doctor was just rude about the fact I've been waiting and said I'm behind one other person. All of this would've been fine if I didn't schedule this appointment last night and through the telehealth. What's the point of scheduling if it'll still take me 2 hours to get seen?!?! I even said I'm willing to pay for a second visit via telehealth if I could just leave and go home because I really don't feel well and without any sympathy or any apologetic tone, they said I couldn't leave. We went here for my 6yr old splitting his lip. I looked online that they do stitches here. I wanted to avoid the ER hospital because it would be less expensive. I told the front desk why I was there. They checked us in and we talked to the Nurse. She was friendly. She told me the Nurse Practitioner on call didn't feel comfortable doing stitches on children. So they sent us to Children's Hospital ER, where he was taken care of and needed two stitches. We just received a bill from Piedmont for almost $300. $300 for telling us to go to Children's. That seems extremely dishonest and greedy. If the person on staff doesn't feel comfortable doing stitches an a child, the tell us before we check on so we don't have to pay $300!!! read more

Went into this clinic for chest pains on 1/4/22 and $300 was drafted out my bank account on 2/2/22. I was aware that there might be an out of pocket fee even tho I have insurance, but $300!? Really!? I received no 7 day notice via mail OR email that I had a remaining balance, and money would be drafted from my account. I've gone to urgent care clinics several times in the past, and even in my 20's when I had no insurance did I ever pay $300. Had a virtual visit Sunday, which is required before a COVID test. They were supposed to call me within 24-48 hours to schedule the test. 48 hours later, no phone call. They're not answering their phones at all. So I guess they'll bill my insurance company for the office visit. HIGHLY recommend you go somewhere else and don't waste your time or your insurance company's money as I have. Now I'm looking for a health department location to get tested at. Update 6 days later: Someone from their office called me late Tuesday after I sent an email to their corporate office. She said the corporate office reached out to them and they had been trying to reach me but didn't have my contact info. I looked at the confirmation email for the Sunday visit and it included my email address and phone number. I completed new patient paperwork prior to my Sunday virtual visit. She offered to schedule a test for me possibly Wednesday. Told her not to worry about it, I was able to get a test scheduled within a day with the department of health. https://dph.georgia.gov/covidtesting On Friday, 5 days after my virtual visit, someone called me saying they were ready to set up my appointment for next week. I told her it's ok I had already been tested. So basically, if test results are taking 5-10 days and their scheduling is taking 8-10 days to get you in, you'll be well over the virus by the time you get your test results back. Seriously? Booked an appointment with the online tool, and when I arrived for the appointment I was told that they had decided not to honor appointments any more for that day. I had not received any communication that my appointment was cancelled prior to arriving in person, nor was there a disclaimer in the booking tool that appointments were subject to cancellation without notice. The front desk attendant attributed it to simply being a manager's decision when I provided the feedback that this was not a very effective or transparent system. I had an appointment scheduled online for 4:00 pm and checked in online on time when I got there and wasn't called back until after 5:00... every time I come here I wait an hour minimum even though I always have an appointment and I'm on time. Terrible experience. I went Monday because I was on day 17 of cold symptoms that weren't getting better and had a lot of sinus pain. The provider listened to my lungs and told me I needed to take Flonase and claritin (though I told her I didn't have seasonal allergies). I asked if she could check me and told her I was concerned about a sinus infection since it had been so long without full improvement. She reluctantly felt my neck glands and looked at my throat but didn't bother checking my ears or nose and sent me on my way. I pushed back and she added a z-pack to my px list. Whelp, I dutifully Flonase ans z-packed until Friday when I woke up with a terrible headache, a lot of sinus pain, and an ear ache. I went to another urgent care and waited 1.5 hours past my Appt time because they were very busy. Turns out I have a major sinus infection and a lot of fluid in my ears. So now I'm on a steroid and antibiotics and suffered unnecessarily because the provider couldn't be bothered to check my ears and nose Monday. Very annoying. read more

The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of the doctor! I'm reading my soap note (progress note) and it reads all this stuff that the doctor absolutely did not check. He literally stood by the door in the exam room and asked me questions, then stated the nurse would be in. The nurse came in from covered head to toe, which she was suppose to. She then checked my temp, breaths, oxygen and then the two Covid test. She did great and the front office staff. The doctor on the other hand has lied on the progress note. Why is there even an option to make an appointment if they do not take it into consideration. Went there on Sat for a UTI and was the only one there so absolutely no wait. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The nurse who took all of my medical information was also wonderful. This place is HORRIBLE. They open at 8am on Sundays. Yet they don't. The receptionist wasn't there but Michelle was at the front. She was nasty, impolite, and useless. Instead of apologizing to those of us for wasting our time coming in to an urgent care center that is open but can do NOTHING, she just kept smiling a smug smile and saying "there's nothing I can do". No apology. No attempt to help the sick people who came for care. I asked if they knew when the receptionist would arrive and she just gave a smug smile and shrugged and said "there's nothing we can do." I'd hope she's not a medical provider because she has no empathy. DO NOT waste your time with this location. This place is amazing!!!!! The staff is so friendly, professional, and caring. My grandmother was turned away from another clinic because her diabetic medications bottle was written on instead of a printed label. My grandmother is from a third world country, a place that does not have the amenities that the US has such a printed labels. I called in to piedmont and a lovely very friendly Mariah answered the phone I explained the entire situation that my grandmother has run out of her medication and the label is written on because she's not from here. She told me don't worry about that bring your grandmother down well assess her and go from there. Dr Huong was so friendly, polite while speaking with my grandmother and myself.
