Nice chewy thick crust with a crisp bottom with tangy sauce that's filled with whole cloves of sweet cooked garlic. Just executed perfectly to my liking. The crust was soft yet crunchy, good flop but stable. The cheese to sauce ratio was just right, and the sauce had great flavor. It was a little sweet with a hint of what we think was caramelized onion for a slightly unique flavor. Ordering online was super easy. By far the BEST pizza in Orlando, Florida. The pizza is a New York Style pizza and it is baked to perfection. The pizza has that 'snap' when you bite into it while maintaining the delicious dough-iness that I love: all at the same time. The owner is so generous too. Since Pienezza is our Orlando addiction, we come here every time. The ambiance is nice also and you can see the working kitchen, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze when it's busy. When the owner found out that it was my son's birthday, he gave us a complimentary cannoli (homemade and wonderful). Since there is NO stellar pizza where we live (Citrus County), this is worth the 1 1/2 hour drive anyway. So...it's sad that I have to travel this far to get the Perfect Pie...but it's well worth that drive. My wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and I were in Florida, looking for food late at night and hoping to find something still open and good. My daughter was craving cheese pizza, my wife is vegan, and my mother-in-law has more of an old-school palate. This spot ended up being perfect for all of us! We sat at one of the tables comfortably, and even with the few tables available, it didn't feel cramped at all. We ordered garlic knots (both regular and vegan), a cheese pizza, a meat lovers pizza (half was regular sausage and cheese), and the vegan bruschetta pizza. For me, the real test of a great food spot is when someone like me, who normally goes for extra meat and dairy, ends up liking the vegan options more. Case in point: the garlic knots. They were soft, buttery, and packed with flavor. I especially loved the vegan garlic knots with everything seasoning, which were better than the regular ones in my opinion. You simply MUST try them! The pizzas came out fast--less than 20 minutes for all three! My daughter, who is a die-hard Giordano's fan, devoured her cheese pizza and couldn't raving about how good it was. My mother-in-law and I enjoyed the sausage pizza, but the vegan bruschetta pizza absolutely stole the show. The ingredients were fresh, the crust was perfectly crispy, and the whole thing was delicious. We couldn't finish it all in one sitting, but it reheated surprisingly well the next day. The service was excellent, too. The owner was right there with his team, making pizzas and even personally brought our food to the table. Even though we arrived about an hour before closing, they didn't rush us at all and were incredibly kind and patient. Pienezza is the exception that proves the rule. Their pan offerings are superb. The "grandma's style" pizza is excellent and unlike anything you will find at other places in Central Florida. I'm not sure why I passed on this spot for so long. I've been three times in the last 6 weeks. They have Sicilian and thin crust pizza for very reasonable prices. They have a variety of pizza by the slice available all day as well as whole pies made to order. The garlic margherita is delicious and The Italian flag pizza is is a winner. The garlic knots are a steal at $3.75 for 6 small knots topped with big chunks of fresh garlic. The sauce that comes with the knots is yummy and a generous size so you can scoop up all those garlic chunks and parmesan. Everything I've had has been very good and big. Just use a regular roll and slap some mayonnaise on it. You can't go wrong with a classic rendition of something that's already good. Don't try to be fancy! 2. Season and cook the meat. Don't overcook it. A little salt and pepper goes a long way! Put it on the grill with a spash of vinegar and cook until the bottom starts to brown; flip give it a quick chop if needed and IMMEDIATELY put the onions on it and cover it. 3. Don't burn the onions. These things weren't caramelized. They were burned! Further compounding the taste of a$$ that I mentioned earlier. The onions also need a little salt and vinegar before the cooking starts. I've never thrown a cheesesteak away before but damn! I'm not exaggerating when I say I had to put extra effort to eating just half of it. read more

I was greeted (I think lol?) and No one was rude but didn't feel welcoming.. but ok, not really a huge deal. I ordered to-go an eggplant parm sandwich. Took about 10 min for my order. On the plus side food was hot and bread was quite crusty and fluffy. On the con side, honestly the sandwich just tasted like hot bread, I barely tasted any salt/seasoning :( I love eggplant parm sandwiches and this had no eggplant flavor. The eggplant had a breadcrumb coating, perhaps that explains it. But even the marinara had no "tomato" flavor. This sandwich was just lacking in all departments in my opinion. I found this pizza joint while I was out, and about. The aroma hit me in the parking lot. I couldn't wait to get in there, and pick up my pies. I ordered an extra pepperoni pie, and a meat lovers. The price came out to $48, and change. Very pricey for two pizza's. I'm not sure I'll be back based solely on the price. The meat lovers was good. Very flavorful, and ample toppings.
