Their version of a Margherita pizza
    Russell L.

I ordered a large Margherita pizza which is fairly basic, olive oil, cheese, diced tomatoes and chopped basil...the pizza I received was cheese and sliced tomatoes, the most flavorless and at $25 the most overpriced pizza I've had. I was told they use dried basil (Blasphemy) there wasn't a remote hint of olive oil, the crust was dry and not sourdough. I came here because of the Google reviews. Cheers to the management (Owner) for taking the pizza back and giving me a refund (I ate 1 slice) I didn't know this was a franchise, the pizza is on par with a Domino's. The quality does not justify the cost

I really liked this pizza! Very nice texture. Pretty filling which tells me it's not super artificial like most pizza chains. The cheese bread was just okay though, which was surprising and I actually didn't like the dipping marinara at all which was also weird. I definitely want to go back and try the tourist. Sounds tasty!!

    Time we received food

We ordered food to eat in the restaurant at 8:37 PM according to the time stamp on the receipt. We waited an hour. I finally asked about the delay and was directed to the manager. He gave us the food in boxes and kicked us out of the restaurant because they had closed. He said the cutoff for in-diner orders was 9 PM and lied saying we ordered after 9 PM but he had not noticed at the time.

Can I just tell you that my mouth was watering all the way home. The aroma of garlic, onion, chicken and barbecue sauce was enough to bring a tear to a glass eye. Mama Mia the bread twists..... the best I've ever had and they're generous with their dipping sauce. This place is buzzing and the owner is in the kitchen working along side his crew. Super friendly and helpful staff. Ordered the Lombard pizza and oh my god, so good. The taste was mind blowing, the toppings and the crust created a deliciousness that is indescribable. How did I not know about this place????? I can't wait to try all of their specialty pizzas, definitely coming back.

Haven't ordered from Pier 1 pizza in probably over a year so thought we would give it another try. Ordered 2 thin crust pizzas, Trolley square and a margherita. The trolley square was good but the margherita was a cheese pizza with diced tomatoes. Not satisfying for an $18 pizza. I called in and was asked to bring the pizza back in and they will see what they can do.

Stopped in here for lunch and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! Food and service were easily 4 stars, however the overall atmosphere isn't quite up to par, but it's just dated. Tables were clean when we came in and it's not dirty by any means, just older. The bathrooms were old but they keep it as clean as they can. We got a regular size pizza, half cheese and half Lombard street, which is their version of bbq chicken. It was good! The crust is doughy but not too thick, and they don't skimp on the cheese. I thought the chicken was perfect for the pizza and the bbq sauce was great. The man at the counter who took our order was nice and brought our pizza out to us when it was done, and a really nice woman cleaned our table off for us and made sure we liked it. Overall not a bad stop if you're hungry and craving some za!

We ordered a thin crust pizza over the phone. We did get a thin crust. But since they weee closing soon my husband just paid and brought it home. There was no crust..only dough. Not even close to being cooked. Worst pizza ever!!

Ordered one brown sugar cinnamon pizza, and this is what we received. Drowning in icing, almost inedible. The kids couldn't even finish it. Not worth the $10. Ridiculous.

10 out of 10! There are only 5 stars because that's all they let me choose. The staff made our daughters 9th birthday fantastic and so memorable will be talking about this experience for years to come! The pizzas were amazing, the Garlic bread twists were to die for and the peach dessert pizza was divine. All of it was served up hot perfection. The service was the best our family has ever had. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Best birthday ever! We would do it and recomend doing a birthday here again!

We placed an order online, so my review is solely based upon the pizza alone, not the restaurant! First, the pizza arrived within the hour and was hot and fresh. The online ordering through the slice app was very easy and straightforward. I'm from the Midwest, used to having a lot of pizza in Chicago, so I'm pretty damn picky! The pizza here did not disappoint. They certainly did not skimp out on the toppings, in addition to them being fresh and great-tasting. I've never had sourdough crust before, so maybe this is how it's supposed to be, but I felt it needed to be cooked longer. When picking up a slice, it basically flopped over and the toppings fell off. We absolutely will order again, requesting a few minutes extra on the baking time for a crispier crust!

Breadaticks tonight were not tasty at all. Most burnt and the other ones who knows what happened to them

Slow and expensive. Pizza is ok but you will wait at least 45 even if you are the only person in the store.

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

My one complaint is that we made our reservation for 6:15, but at 5:55, I received a text that my table was ready and would only be held for 10 minutes. That means our table would be given away if we didn't arrive 10 minutes BEFORE our reservation time. The pizza is fantastic. Which I kept saying to my party through bites of pizza. It is the crust that makes this pizza. It is a little sweet but not in a dessert way. It has the perfect chewy bite. I was impressed. I never eat pizza crust, not ever, but it was good enough that my dogs didn't get their usual crust treat. We tried 4 different pizzas and I would recommend any of them.

The menu had super creative, unique pizza names (which I love), but I still played it safe and ordered my go-to: pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple....yes, pineapple . I also got cheesy bread and BBQ boneless chicken. My partner customized his pizza with pepperoni, bacon, and brisket, his version of a meat lovers. I'll start with the downside: my jalapeños were missing, which was a little disappointing. I get it though, mistakes happen, especially if they were busy. What really threw me off was the grease. When I opened the box, the pizza was dripping.....like, soaking-through-the-box dripping. I later noticed our boxes were missing that little white cardboard liner you usually get underneath, which might explain it. I had to use multiple paper towels just to blot two slices, and they were completely saturated. But here's the twist... despite all that, this was hands-down some of the best pizza I've ever had. The flavor was unreal. Every bite was rich, bold, and perfectly balanced! you could actually taste each ingredient. The hot honey drizzle on top completely elevated it and honestly made me forget about the missing jalapeños. The cheesy bread was good. nothing super standout flavor-wise, but still enjoyable (again, just very greasy). My partner's pizza, though? Absolutely divine. The bacon tasted like real smoked, chopped bacon, and the brisket gave it this smoky, almost campfire BBQ vibe. It felt like something you'd eat fresh out of a smokehouse. So flavorful and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. And the BBQ boneless chicken... I was not prepared. I expected something basic, but that ranch.........oh ...my ....god.... It was creamy, rich, and addictive. If that ranch isn't homemade, I need to know where to buy it immediately. The combo of that chicken with the ranch was next-level--like a full-on flavor explosion. I will say, I couldn't finish everything. The grease eventually caught up with me and gave me a bit of a headache. Overall: I will be ordering again. Next time, I'll probably ask if they can go a little lighter on the grease. It's definitely not a "light" meal by any means lol but the flavor? Totally worth it.

The perfect pizza. the price is super fair and well worth it - considering what you'd pay for a dine-in pizza down the road. Inside is a cute, clean pickup area - minimal seating.
