The sauce had great flavor and the crust was the proper NY Style thickness with a crispiness throughout every slice. We've been going here for a few years now. It used to be amazing pizza. The garlic knots are truly amazing. The pizza though, is consistently overcooked, almost burnt. I keep going back because a few years ago it was amazing chewy, New York style crust. Last 5 times we have gone, the pizza is terrible because the crust is so overcooked. Their staff are very friendly. They have Spanish speaking employees also, if needed. The menu has a large selection to choose from and reasonably priced. The sizes of their pizzas are huge and worth the price you pay. Their pizzas have high quality ingredients and they taste amazing. I recommend this pizza place. Had high expectations for this place after seeing some of the reviews, but it's sadly average and underwhelming. We got the mushroom truffle pizza and added sausage - it was extremely oily, to the point where it was leaking out of the box. Also not as cheesy as I would have liked. The thing that really got me was the price of their side sauces. $2.50 for a small container of marinara and $1.75 for garlic parmesan dip. I thought they would at least come in bigger containers. Whoa. This place had me very pleasantly surprised. Also, another failed moment where I forgot to take a picture, but definitely not a forgettable pizza restaurant. We have been looking for authentic New York style pizza for quite some time now and I have to say this is closer to it than any other place we've tried in all of Salt Lake City over the last 15 years. Perfectly thin, foldable, not heavy on the grease and the sauce was just perfectly balanced. Sometimes sauce is too zesty and overwhelming and for somebody who (Ahem, clears throat) is in her late 40s, let me just tell you, heartburn in the middle of the night from a pizza you thought tasted great is not pleasant. This pizza did NOT give me heartburn! it's like hallelujah to the pizza Gods, we have found great New York style pizza in SLC! The price was right on point, we ordered on their website and they had the pizza ready right when we walked in the door so it was hot and super fresh. Perfectly balanced cheese. Can't wait to go back and try some other other flavor options as the picky eaters I had ordered for only wanted the cheese pizza and a sausage pizza this time around. Don't drive by quickly or you will miss it, especially in the dark. Wish the sign actually had light bulbs in it. However this little pizza joint had awesome garlic knots. I had half of them eaten before I got home (bad idea as I spilled all over my shirt). The service was nice and it was ready when I got there. It was a little cold, not sure if they have a heat lamp. The cheese was a little gritty but I loved the marinara and crust. Ranch seemed homemade but it was a little bland. Good selection of canned drinks and a cute little seating area. By far one of the WORST pizzas I have ever had. You'd be better off going around the corner to Big Daddy's Pizza. We ordered two whole pizzas for carryout and for $40+ for two 14" inch pizzas, I would have rather spent the money getting a frozen pizza. The crust was extremely tough and hard to chew. Supremo Pizza has become one of my favorites. It's a small establishment, but if you order for pickup, you'll find that the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I've tried the cheese & pepperoni pizza, as well as the garlic knots a few times now and everything is fresh and consistently good. The pizza sauce is good, the crust is thin like NY style pizza, and the pepperoni pizza has a ton of pepperoni. They're open late - even on Sundays - which is a huge plus considering almost everything else closes early. read more

I don't like giving negative reviews, and I typically don't but after getting our pizza from Supremo tonight I'm feeling like I have to. I downloaded their app to order the pizza, clicked on one of the coupons to use for my first order, and it didn't apply. I didn't notice it until afterwards and I had already paid that it didn't actually work. No big deal, bit annoying but it happens. But the reason for the low review is that the actual pizza does not look anything like their picture. There is hardly the amount of cheese on the actual pizza compared to the picture which I feel is very misleading. There really was not that much cheese at all on the bbq pizza. It was mostly sauce. Maybe it's because when you order on the app it defaults to want you to tip 18% for carrying out Pizza, and I changed it to 2.00? The staff was upset? It's possible, but Paying a 18% tip on carry out is ridiculous, I can't say that it was intentional because of that, or because they just have misleading pictures of their food, but either is disappointing. Found this place through Yelp & looked at the pictures for more details. Just the look alone of a pie showed it was NY style. Made the order & when picking it up, I saw the quality of sauce & the flour for their dough. I knew immediately the pie was going to be good. I've never been in a pizza place where you don't smell pizza. Because of some seriously wrong estimates and messages from ordering through the Slice app, I had to wait 15 minutes beyond the time they sent and 10 minutes beyond when the message that my order was ready was sent so I had some time inside but the first pizza smell I had was when my order came out. It could have been because they were rushing to make my order because of the Slice messaging I got, but everything on my order was underbaked. It felt like the oven was too cold for the pizza and the garlic knots were raw dough. The sauce and toppings seemed good quality and there was plenty of them but everything suffered from being undercooked. I know New York style pizza is floppy but it's not because the dough isn't baked. If they stay in business a while and some real Yelp reviews get added, I'd try them again though.
