Average looking pier, we walked part of the way but you have to pay to walk the whole way down... nice view...shop on site. Nice benches along the sidewalk.

My sister-in-law took us here to see the sunset. It has cute little shops set up on the boardwalk. There's also a playground in the area. There are other random shops and restaurants near by. From the looks of it, it seems to be a popular place. It was pretty busy and we got lucky to find parking. A cool place to just hang out whether you wanna chill at the beach, do some shopping, or grab a bite to eat.

Pier 60 is the focal point of Clearwater Beach and the center of beach activities. Driving across the causeway from downtown Clearwater, you will find yourself directly in front of the pier. While it's most popular for fishing, the pier is also a great place to spot sharks, dolphins and other fish in the surf. Each night, the pier hosts a festival of crafters, musicians, artisans and food vendors starting at sunset. There is a concession stand and children's playground near the entrance to the pier.

Love love love this area in town. During the day, nice to walk around and the big playground is there to entertain the children. Sunset is gorgeous from here. And they have little booth setup to sell handmade goods, drawing, etc. they also have fishing area as well.

When traveling to Clearwater we always stop here at Pier 60. There is so much to do here. A large parking lot but it's not free. A gift shop and snack bar. A play ground for the kids. When you walk out on the pier there's a gift shop that has fishing supplies, but from that point you pay to go out on the end of the pier to fish or just watch. We seen Jellyfish and some dolphins and of course the local birds begging for fish. Then just a short walk back there's shopping and restaurant and shop right in Clearwater. You can go on boat trips to see dolphins or sunset tours or dinner shows.

It's okay I guess the pier is less of a draw for me than the beach at sunrise before the crowds invade the space. It was great place at this hour of the day to take a walk and watch the waves chase the shore birds across the white almost sterile sand. I don't see a need to charge admission to the pier since the parking already requires a toll and you can walk three quarters of the length of the pier for free to access the souvenir shop, it's seems a little greedy to me, most people I noticed did a u-turn at the turnstile anyways. This is a very clean beachside park but very commercialized so with all the other options in the area to experience the water in a more natural setting I'd have little reason to return.

Always a beautiful sunset! It never grows old. I am a local and have many years of memories here. The place has built up so much since I was a kid. Great tourism money for Clearwater but never enough parking. Worth the aggravation! I feel so incredible to live where people spend thousands of dollars to vacation!

It's a beautiful beach, for sure, that clean, white, fine grained sand that is unsurpassed by any other. It's always enjoyable to stroll down the marina too. I do have a couple beefs, though, and that is the extremely limited parking, and at $3 per hour. Also a fee to go to the end of a public pier? We were just strolling around, showing some out of town family the famous Clearwater Beach, so it was nice.

great time with family walking the pier, plenty to see, vendors, restaurant playground for kids, no fee to use unless you want to goal the way to end, bathroom available. Beautiful sunset.

Nice spot to throw a line in or just catch a breeze if you need to cool off a lil bit. Can get pretty crowded being as how this beach is one of the top tourist spots in the US I believe. If you go early or during the winter it's nice because there is parking right in front of it (pay) but get there after 10 am and you will struggle to find a spot anywhere in town.

There's a $1 general admission fee to get to the peak of the pier. More fees for those looking to fish. Great views of the beach and town from the pier.

Spending daddy daughter time is always good. I love the openness of the park but love more the time I spend with my boo. We always have fun and it is a good time.

    Sun setting at the beach.

Nice family area in the beach. Good waves enough room to spread out. Has a small quick service restaurant on boardwalk area. Entertainment upon boardwalk. Nice playground for kids. Also haas a fishing pier only cost a $1 per person.

An excellent spot on Clearwater Beach to get a great view or fish. It is a landmark on the beach. Nice at sunset.

The boat I was on today was not air-conditioned inside, but still a decent size boat. The larger boat has places to lay down in case you're not feeling well. The smaller boat does not. In both instances there was only two people helping out when you needed assistance both times there were someone new and unexperienced. Fortunately for me, I know how to fish, add a new hook as needed, and takeoff my own fish so instead of waiting around, I often not only helped myself but helped those around me. Very discouraging since they do not have hand rags. Being this is my second time I was aware of this so I brought my own this time around. The spool on the fishing rods are awful... I'm not certain how often they change the line out or get out the bubbles in the lines. Several people around me were having issues. On both cases there was only one large catch of the day. Most of what I caught were grunts and Porgies- both which do not have size limits. I kept only the large ones. - about 1'0" The boat I was on today only offered squid and shrimp.- no fish for bait. My suggestion is to check which boat you're on and if there's air-conditioning., bring some hand towels/rags, nail clippers, and your own needle nose pliers. I almost forgot to mention that my most recent experience, one of the guys was walking around, smoking the entire time and for someone who has severe asthma and heart conditions. This was a huge problem. The rating has since come down to a three. Do I dare go on this boat again? Hummmmm I don't know....would you?
