Captain Eric knows his stuff. He is honest, helpful, thorough, and safety is always his upmost priority. If the weather is suspect he wont risk it, and he will reschedule at your earliest convenience, even if it means coming in on his off day. Making sure his guests have things like proper attire, hydration, and sunscreen are on the top of his priority list. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone on his boat has the most top tier experience. During our most recent charter, my husband had one of his brothers from upstate New York with him (who has come to FL 3 times now to book with Captain Eric). They were on a mission to catch a "monster", and really wanted to get in the water with their catch. Due to the recent shark activity, Captain Eric had not been letting guests in the water for safety reasons. Because my husband and his brother were determined, Captain Eric made sure to only take them to areas with zero shark sightings and thoroughly patrolled the shallows , taking every possible precaution. To everyones surprise, they caught their Monster! And after careful inspeciation and protocol, they were even able to jump in for a record 3 seconds to grab a photo! The boat is beautiful and has the highest end technology, with every type of lure/rod/bait you could imagine. Captain Eric has been doing this for over a decade, and it shows in the best way! While tracking trophy tarpons we were surprised with some fun little hammer head and black-tip sharks. I heard about him in a great restaurant called Dockside Dave's (another place everyone should go for the best and biggest Grouper sandwiches) he has two boats, one for inshore fishing and one for offshore. The first day we went offshore and limited out on grouper. The next trip we just stayed inside Johns pass and had a blast catching trout and redfish and a couple of snook. He couldn't have more accommodating to all of us. I was glad we found him and will only call him when the next time I need to go have fun on the water.

Baseball hats were priced at $8.95, which is pretty good in my opinion. Simple Clearwater Beach t-shirts were also the same price, anytime I can buy a tee for under $10 it's a decent deal. They had other seashell related souvenirs. Kids beach toys are also for sale. The snack section was small, but they do have a nice amount of drinks, which is handy for those hot beach days. Also for sale were postcards, magnets and stickers. Ice is also for sale!

We brought our food and drinks and there was enough storage on the boat for all of our stuff. Our captain navigated us well and took us to the best spots to see dolphins and a nice quiet private beach. Then he showed us the perfect spot to stop and take a ride on the slide. I was very pleased with how well Captain Randy communicated and provided additional insight. Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. I cannot say enough good things about our experience for 6 anglers yesterday. First off let me preface this review by saying I have been on a lot of fishing trips with various companies throughout the southeast and Texas. I know what makes for a really good guide and these guys are it. Let me explain. I had a few people in our group that hadn't done this type of fishing at all so I was hesitant when I got the report of 3-5 seas with the wind picking up. A few boats on the radios reported it a little worse than that. Normally a fishing guide will ask at the launch if you want to go out or skip the trip. Once you step foot on the boat your money goes hard. No changing your mind. BUT these guys are different. They offered to run us out 10 miles (since an 8 hour trip takes you out 25) to see what it was like BEFORE you had to decide. That was it for me, even before getting out to that check point I was hooked (see what I did there?) on these guys as true pros. We got to the check point, had a quick discussion amongst ourselves and out to sea we went. We caught fish. We caught big fish. We caught a lot of them. We actually limited out on Grouper. Simply put I cannot recommend these guys enough. If you're in the area and want a different experience than the ole party boats give these boys a shot.
