Zach was a great fishing guide. Knew the area well and made sure the 2 kids in our party had a great time catching fish. Highly recommend

So this is the second time I have booked with this company. First time was on a bigger boat with an…read moreair-conditioned inside area. The boat I was on today was not air-conditioned inside, but still a decent size boat. The larger boat has places to lay down in case you're not feeling well. The smaller boat does not. In both instances there was only two people helping out when you needed assistance both times there were someone new and unexperienced. Fortunately for me, I know how to fish, add a new hook as needed, and takeoff my own fish so instead of waiting around, I often not only helped myself but helped those around me. Very discouraging since they do not have hand rags. Being this is my second time I was aware of this so I brought my own this time around. The spool on the fishing rods are awful... I'm not certain how often they change the line out or get out the bubbles in the lines. Several people around me were having issues. On both cases there was only one large catch of the day. Most of what I caught were grunts and Porgies- both which do not have size limits. I kept only the large ones. - about 1'0" The boat I was on today only offered squid and shrimp.- no fish for bait. My suggestion is to check which boat you're on and if there's air-conditioning., bring some hand towels/rags, nail clippers, and your own needle nose pliers. I almost forgot to mention that my most recent experience, one of the guys was walking around, smoking the entire time and for someone who has severe asthma and heart conditions. This was a huge problem. The rating has since come down to a three. Do I dare go on this boat again? Hummmmm I don't know....would you?

While looking for things to do when we weren't at the games, the Little Toot Dolphin Adventure kept appearing near the top of almost every recommendation list. It absolutely did not disappoint. We couldn't believe how many dolphins we saw, and how close they came to the boat. It was an incredible experience. The commentary from the staff was also very informative and helped make the trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely do this again on future visits to the area.

The captains all clearly talk to each other and share dolphin sightings because they tend to congregate. The night before my trip with Little Toot I went on a sunset cruise with another company and saw dolphins riding their wake. I was excited to be at the back of their boat and see it for myself. You can see the Little Toot boat in one video We went out at 11. I know earlier is better but it was New Year's Day and I knew I'd want to sleep in. We saw a few dolphins here and there eating. I thought we'd go in without the exciting part. But, the captain took a survey to see if anyone was opposed to staying out a bit longer. Of course, no one objected. He found a couple of playful dolphins for us and I got to see them ride the wake. I'd seen this in a whale watching tour in Monterey Bay (California) but it was nice to see Atlantic bottlenose playing. This boat is close to the water where I've always been on larger boats in California. It's nice being to close. Even from my kayak, dolphins have been further away. I think the only way to get closer would be with captive dolphins. I did learn that there are two boats with the company. Not sure if one is better.
