I was initially pleased with the work Perry's crew did, with the exception of having to clean up after them everyday. I even so much as referred him to my neighbor who had him paint her interior, although I did warn her about the garbage they left sitting around each day. After several months, I noticed the tongue and groove on my eaves were not completely covered. I understand expansion and contraction. When I contacted Perry about the issue he seemed very willing to come back out to take care of it. I reached out to him after each time he ghosted me. I wanted to give him a favorable review, but I can't in good conscience. Very poor customer service, horrible follow up, and not recommended. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I would never recommend this painter to anyone. They did the absolute worst job ever, and their customer service was horrible. Not only did they not finish the job, but they also left all the paint out in the rain, ruining it. To make matters worse, they tried to paint the house when it was raining, not even letting the first 2 coats try. We are now seeing the effects of that with chips bubbles and all-around crappy work. It was a disaster. Being in the industry that I am in and also flipping homes, I have experience with tradesmen. This is not the first project I have undertaken to paint a house. I met with the owner's son to go over the project a few days after they started at the house. The owner's son met me with an attitude and disrespect. He started to raise his voice at me when I questioned certain aspects of the project i.e. one being painting in the rain and touch-up work. Now while I am not a paint professional, and explicitly expressed that to the owner's son, I do know what I'm talking about. He was so disrespectful that I ended up having to call my husband and put him on the phone. He would only speak to my husband. If you are looking to work with a sexist company then hire these guys. As I mentioned above, both the interior and exterior paint are already chipping, and there are areas where they only did primer, leaving it looking unfinished and shoddy. It's been a complete nightmare dealing with this painter, and I regret hiring them. We're going to have to pay another painter to redo everything, making this the biggest waste of money ever. I'm beyond frustrated with this painter's work. Save yourself the hassle and find someone else to do your painting. This painter is not worth your time or money. read more

When trying to improve your home you want someone who treats your house like their own. Perry and crew did such an amazing job on our two story house. Each one of them showed us that they take pride in their work. Perry inspects as if he had a fine tooth comb. Even the simplest uneven line was corrected and repainted with perfection. I'm writing this review because I believe it is deserving of my time. My cabinets were severely damaged with bleach and water stain by a previous tenant. They are custom Hickory done by Falco. I called Falco asking him to do a refinish on the cabinets and he told me he would meet me the next morning at 9. He flaked. Never returned my call. I called Pier and Son the following day. I got ahold of Perry Pier and he met me on time that same week. He gave me an estimate and stuck with the time frame. He was very professional and prompt with his work. My cabinets look great. It is hard to find people that are good at their job these days and finish a job. I am very grateful for Pier and Son getting what I needed done asap so I could get my new tenants moved in. Perry Pier and his son painted our decks, about 1000 square feet. We live at 4000 feet elevation and our deck got very slippery when coated with a dusting of snow. They mixed sand into the paint to make a non-slip coating. Their work was meticulous and careful, and they kept a tidy job site during the two days they worked here. I was very impressed with this company from the get go. I called to ask for a bid. Perry came out the same day to look at the project. He was able to schedule the job within one week. His crew showed up when planned. They were respectful and and had attention to detail. The end product was perfect. Perry insisted on a complete walk through when the job was complete before any payment was made. Icing on the cake... They knew I probably couldn't move the piano back into place on my own so without asking they ensured it was put back right where it was.
