The woman I spoke to I believe she was the owner was very pleasant and I was disappointed to hear that they were not open regular hours anymore, but maybe one day when the weather is better I'll give it a try. A plant shop at a craftsman style house in Eugene? Sounds amazing! Our friends told us about this place and recommended we look for air plants here. They have a huge selection of air plants, succulents, and misc. indoor/outdoor plants. We were very impressed with the variety and displays they had. Parking is street parking around the house (not sure how the neighbors feel about that) and you literally walk into the front yard and back yard with a greenhouse and shop to your heart's content. Their pricing for air plants was very reasonable ($3-$20) and they were beautiful! We also purchased a pitcher plant and a very curly spider plant. The staff and main owner Marcia were very friendly and helpful. I like that they're open 7 days a week and was open even on Memorial Day. Such a cute little house nursery! I was in town visiting and I went to a few other nurseries in the area but this one was my favorite. I love her cactus room in the back the most. Marcia has a large and unique variety of cacti, succulents, airplants. The only thing that made me sad is that every plant I wanted had the tag "not for sale". There are quite a lot that aren't for sale. Would love to see more houseplants here but overall a great experience! read more

There little green house out back is stuffed to the gills with cactus ansd succulents. Some reviewers mentioned their plants getting sick.. its been 3months and all 7 that i bought seem to he thriving! Its a tipical Eugene busness, no one around to answer questions. I loved this place. The customers AND staff were all wearing masks, it's beautiful, and mostly comparatively inexpensive (small $3 plants, anyone?). It's kind of hard to social distance in parts of it, but it's mostly outdoors anyway so you can just pop into another spot a little further away if someone is getting too close. I loved all of the choices, and how knowledgeable people were about what I'd be getting, what pot I'd need (the prices on most of those were great too!), etc. They even knew where I could get soil without additives like perlite, for about $5 a bag, which I haven't been able to find anywhere on my own, not even online. The woman who works there is so kind! She is obviously so passionate about what she does. Here selection is pretty grand and gorgeous. I was trying to pick a gift for someone and am clueless when it comes to plants but she was able to talk through my ideas with me without making me feel dumb at all. If you're looking for a plant I recommend her wholeheartedly. The parking is just street parking which wasn't a problem. I will certainly go back if I need anything like that again. This is by far one of my favorite destinations in Eugene! The prices are very affordable, and the selection of plants is pretty large. Just went today for the first time and spent $20 on 4 separate cactus/succulents in the greenhouse. No issues there, but I came home to repot them, and one of the plants had an actual ant colony living in the dirt. Absolutely terrified me as I went to pull the plant from its pot and dozens of black ants swarmed me. I can only imagine the person who potted this plant used dirt from their yard, because there were centipedes and ants in the running all over the dirt from this plant. I am not impressed. read more

Like many of the other reviewers I have found this place endearing and impressive. There is a phenomenal collection of rare succulents and house plants. The owner is charming and very well informed about every plant on the lot BUT BE WARNED, this is an outdoor greenhouse setup and every plant I have brought home (approximately 10) has been infected with one pest or another. Spider mites, powdery mildew, aphids etc. With the rarity and sensitivity of the plants I own, these pests are impossible to get rid of and have infected my other house plants. I will unfortunately not purchase another plant from this seller without absolute guarantee that I'm not bringing these pests into my home. read more

This place is like a disneyland for plant lovers! There is a pretty impressive selection of indoor as well as outdoor plants. By far the biggest succulent selection I have ever seen and at a bargain. This was my first time going to Pierce Street Gardens as I was on the hunt to find an aloe Vera plant and no one seemed to have them in stock. I came across this place thru yelp and saw they had good reviews so decided to give them a call. I left a message and shortly afterwards received a call back from the owner letting me know she had them and was happy to stay open a little late for me to come pick up one. I was overwhelmed at how awesome this little hidden gem truly is! They had the biggest and most impressive stock of succulents and air plants then anywhere I have ever been to. Not only did she have indoor and outdoor specialty plants but she was the warmest and kindest woman ever! She gave me so much information that I really appreciated as I am someone who is just getting into flowers and plants and does not have a green thumb.
