It's hard not to love this place. A friend of mine said it was one of her favorite places and now I know why. Lots and lots and lots of local companies have their excellent products represented in this store. Who doesn't love that? There's an entire plant section, and clothing, ceramic and earth and where, high-end grooming products for men, all manner of bags and carrying containers, children's and baby wear, lots of interesting scented candles around, crystals, and the like, and hairbrushes that will last a lifetime (no, seriously they will and it'll probably be an heirloom item that gets passed on). Emily was very helpful and Amanda wrapped. They were a great team. And there was some friendly chatter that was comfortable. No one was afraid to ask if you needed help and they meant it. They have a great gift wrap set up where you can get something in a box with ribbon or you can buy a very attractive gift bag and they will take care of packaging for you. All in all one stop amazing holiday shopping place conveniently located in downtown Eugene. Come find this place. You won't regret it. Looking forward to coming again. read more

The first 4 experiences I had with Passionflower Design were amazing...but then it dropped off a cliff with the following 3 orders (one they forgot to deliver and did not offer an apology yet alone an offer to comp/upgrade/discount the missed delivery). I gave them a pass for the one they forgot (we all have an off day) and ordered mother's day flowers for my sister and mother and they both said I should stop ordering from here as the flowers were just not good (some flowers were dead/partially dead in both their arrangements). Sadly, I can no longer recommend this place and have had to move my business elsewhere. I shifted over to Rhythm and Blooms about 2 years ago and they have been consistently delivering so far. read more

This store has so many beautiful and unique items! As a stationary lover, I'm especially into their awesome selection of greeting cards. And I've gotten some nice gifts here over the years: candles, dish cloths, elderflower cordial, etc. (I will also admit to sometimes just browsing here, too!) With a few exceptions over the years, I've found the staff to generally be very friendly and helpful, always offering to help without being pushy, and gently asking me if I'd like them to hold items at the register for me if they notice I've picked up a few more things than I can easily hold (I don't know why I'm so resistant to just getting a basket!) You should definitely be prepared to spend some money at Passionflower. Most of their brands seem to be smaller and/or high-quality, so be ready for that. (And I have noticed they definitely mark up their items a bit, too.) But if you're looking for some high-quality gifts, and a carefully curated, in-person shopping experience at a local business, this store is a great choice! read more

i alighted on passionflower as a possibility for gift delivery for my elderly mom who lives in eugene and loves plants and flowers. i live further north in seattle so was taking a risk placing an order from a place i'd never been to but it worked like a charm! i ordered a medium terrarium and asked in the special notes if they could add more crystals if they had them. i added a preferred window of time for the delivery as well and then entered my credit card info and got a quick e-confirmation. from there, everything happened behind the scenes but like clockwork, on the day and time i'd asked for the gift to be delivered, it was! my mom sent me a text completely surprised by the doorbell ringing and a delivery person handing her a super cool terrarium with a card. i was really happy with the level of detail and ability to pull it off. i will use passionflower again and think their website does a great job of showing you the amazing floral displayed and terrariums they are capable of producing. next time i may go for a flower display, as the online photos look exquisite, but from afar, they've got my business and when i next visit eugene in person, i'll make it a point to stop in the shop and check it out with my own eyes this is customer service done right! read more

What a wonderful find full of home treasures of all kinds and across all price points. Thanks to Yelp friend Dawn C's review, I knew of Passionflower in advance of a trip to Eugene to work it into the schedule. I posted some photos to try to give a peek into the range of items for sale there, all so artfully merchandised that you want to "go slow" and see it all. But photos can't capture even a fraction of the wonders here. From table linens, to bed covers, to custom painted bell jars, to pottery and ceramics, to plants, to framed prints, to serving trays, to greeting cards, to candles, to floral displays, to...the list seems endless. If you are looking for it, they probably have it. They also have some things that you probably didn't know you were looking for until you see them at Passionflower and think "There's JUST the thing..." I note some find this store to be expensive, but I'd say their prices are fair and competitive with others who sell similar quality products. But I doubt there are many who can compare with the top notch displays created in the store. And as final note, I'll say my experience was that service was top notch and friendly too. read more

This is the ultimate luxury, if I won the lottery I'd buy everything in it, shop. You walk in and it's adorably arranged, a gorgeous set up, with eye candy every where. It smells really good but not overwhelming. You can tell that some fragrance has been sampled but not too much so as to offend sensitivity. There is the cutest corner of little delights for children-books, toys, clothes, cuddlers. There are fun flavors of bitters and pretty cooking ware. If you're looking for a gift for someone special in your life, you are sure to find something(s) here. The employees are helpful but not overbearing. I like to browse and take my time when I'm in there and I appreciate that they probably expect that of their clientele. I wouldn't say that the goods are too expensive, as in I'm not appalled when I peep the price tag. I never go in there just to look though because I know I'll be sad when I find a treat and can't get it! read more

Do not come here if you are a person of color, or expect to be racially profiled and discriminated by the staff. While in the shop we were completely ignored, followed, and stared at in disgust by the two female employees one who seemed to be training. It was interesting to observe we (the only poc inside) were the only customers being treated this way in the store. It is truly pitiful and quite embarrassing to experience blatant racism in this day and age. What a disappointment! read more

Passionflower is one of the most fun and unique little shops in the city, right in the heart of downtown Eugene! They do flower arrangements, as well as design terrariums and other indoor plants, including plants that have been pre-potted. The terrarium and other plants they put together for me (each one unique!) definitely helped fuel my indoor plant obsession at the beginning of Covid closures. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and obviously enjoy what they do. Passionflower is also a great spot for any creative and special gift that you may be looking for, including home decor, kitchen supplies, baby clothes, books, jewelry and other unique and special gifts. It is not a cheap spot by any means, but the items are high-quality and definitely worth it. I had a friend come to town from out of state, and we spent hours wandering around this cute little shop. Hand's down, this is the nicest store in all of Eugene. In fact, it would hold its own in ANY large, cosmopolitan city as well. A gem of a store! When trying to describe this two-level boutique, I'm at a loss, as the merchandise they carry is SO varied, where to begin? They have gorgeous, artisan jewelry and women's accessories, perfumes and colognes and lotions and potions, house scents, house accessories, hostess gifts (or for yourself!), artsy desk/office supplies, serving platters and glass vases and bowls, a working florist in-house with gorgeous plants and flowers and bouquets and terrariums, clothing upstairs, and more, so much more. One could spend half a day exploring this place. It's not that it's so physically large; it's because all the items it contains are so ... many, so...everywhere, so....... beautiful. Whoever does the buying for this store is doing a stellar job, that's for sure. The store lay-out is such that one has to walk around freestanding round display tables, and around corners, where hidden treasures await. While wandering and browsing, that's exactly how I felt: as if I were on a treasure hunt. And the boutique is designed in a "shabby chic" type of aesthetic, which adds to its allure. The sales lady let us browse at our leisure, after initially greeting us and asking if we needed help looking for anything. I like how she left us alone to explore. Since my kid will soon be attending UO, I know I'll be visiting Eugene more regularly, and this will be my go-to Eugene store, for sure! read more

I really appreciated that they were able to provide a quick turn around time with the delivery (ordered on a Sunday night - they were able to deliver by the next Monday afternoon). I also thought they had a nice touch with the note that I asked them to write (they ask you to type it out....The actual note shows up in a beautiful font). My mom seemed to love them too - she sent a picture. That being said, the ONLY reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because I was a little underwhelmed by the embellishments they added to the arrangement as compared to all of their pictures online. I was hoping they would have included a ribbon or some little twigs (like all of the pictures!). Maybe moving forward, in addition to the beautiful pictures on their site, they can indicate which "level" of arrangement is being pictured. I understand that it's at the discretion of the person doing the arrangement as well as the supplies on hand. I purchased a pair of earrings for my Mom for Christmas using their new website (so happy I can shop online, as I live in SoCal.) Have been ordering flowers from Passionflower since a friend sent me an extraordinarily lovely arrangement from their shop when I was ill several years ago. My friends have raved about the arrangements I've ordered there and I've come to rely on Passionflower when it came to selecting the perfect flowers for a special recipient. My experience has always been positive until today when their poor customer service sent me searching for another florist. Early this month I called to order an arrangement for a hospitalized friend. Instead of the cheerful help I've been used to, I spent 10 minutes being "guided" to the same mundane mixes you can buy at Safeway. When it became clear that we weren't getting anywhere, I moved on. Tried again today...dialed Passionflower and was surprised when they loudly answered "Is this Sweet Basil?" I kinda laughed and said, "No, I was actually calling Passionflower to order flowers" She brusquely announced that she WAS Passionflower and started asking me for my order info, then abruptly asked if she could call me right back. After an hour of tapping my foot, I decided to call another florist and placed my order with a designer who was extremely friendly and very helpful. I have now made PF my go-to place for birthday gifts. For under $25 I have purchased gifts for everyone from preteen girls, to kinda old dudes. PassionFlower is one of the nicest stores in Eugene. They have an amazing eye for color & design. Their flower arrangements are way beyond ordinary. You can be completely assured that anything you purchase here will be high quality and worth the money. While some may say it's expensive, I would say that this is not wal-mart. Holy Expensive!! I really love most of the stuff in this store, but some items are just too over priced. I can respect that some of the items are handmade, homemade and done by very talented artists but $400 for something that's only function is to look beautiful really is not something I am interested in buying right now in my life. This is my favorite store in Eugene, i could spend forever looking at every little thing in here. If you are looking for unique candles, teas, flowers or succulents (it is a flower shop), kitchenware or any floral/botanical/animal decorations, come here. It is great if you are looking for gifts. They also have a clothes section, with bath robes and lots of unique warm fuzzy socks. I agree with the fabulous reviews of this beautiful shop. My 1 star review is solely for rude, condescending, sharp admonishment I received from a woman named Jewel. I am assuming she is the owner. I was planning on purchasing a candle. The display featured open samples, with the boxed item behind. I chose my candle and picked up the box. Because the candle was enclosed in glass, I started to lift the lid, to see if the gift would survive shipping. I would like to stress there was no tape, or packaging that could have possibly been damaged. I was suddenly barked at so rudely I almost dropped the candle. I was ordered to put it down and smell the sample. Before I could explain my motive, she scolded me so harshly other customers turned to see the commotion. I am a 57 year old woman with my own small business. I have NEVER been treated so harshly, nor have I displayed such ill manners towards my own customers. Jewel should take notes from her floor staff; they were outstanding. Undoubtedly she has experienced bad situations in the past, where an item was damaged. I understand her frustration, however, there is a right way, and a wrong way to speak to another human being. I hope Santa brings Jewel some empathy for Christmas. read more

My sister and her long term boyfriend broke up this past week. I (being the awesome older sister that I am) wanted to send her flowers. I filled out the inquiry online. I was not specific in what I wanted in the arrangement. I said "something happy an soothing" and I proceeded to state the reason why I was sending them. They hand delivered a beautiful and very interesting arrangement to my baby sister. She sent me a picture and she said it made her smile so big. I love the variety of spring flowers that were in there, poppies, ranunculus, lilacs and daffodils. AND THE BEST PART IS THAT IT WAS LARGE! Cute shop, but the people that own it and/or work there were super rude; I agree with the other reviews that mention this. I was out with my husband trying on a few pieces of clothing when a woman mentioned that they closed in 3 minutes. A few minutes later, another woman (standing right next to the first woman) said they were closed in case we didn't know (...I knew....LOL). I barely had just put my clothes back on. She then let us know she would show us the way out and that the registers were now closed so I couldn't buy anything. This was at 5:30pm on the dot when they officially closed. I understand not wanting to stay past closing, but I've never seen anything like this before and have had several jobs in retail. That's kinda part of the deal? You might need to stay a few minutes past closing? Rude! I can find somewhere else to buy a $250 shirt :). read more

This was such a cool collection!! It reminded me of the Gardener in SF. Everything was artfully selected and well presented. The friendly staff went to great pains to ensure that the artists stories were represented and that the lively color of each piece complemented those that were surrounding them. I was ready to try a new florist after multiple bad experiences with Dandelions (flowers don't last very long). My brother and sister-in-law ordered flowers for my mother's 94th birthday. They were delivered THE DAY AFTER her birthday, and the greenery was nearly dead and shedding all over the place. I was able to disassemble the arrangement and rescue many of the flowers, but it was a real shame to see an old woman saddened by such an ugly bouquet. read more
