Unreliable service. It's not unusual for buses to be late on a regular basis for no apparent reason

Scheduled my pick-up. Got a call twenty minutes before pick-up to confirm, guy was at my place right on time. Guy was a good driver. The negatives: Guy had to completely reconfirm my address and destination and seemed really pissed about it. He had trouble understanding me and went from zero to 100 on the phone as I slowly confirmed the address. He found my place, called me when he got there, but circled the block and when he saw me out front he parked a block away and waited for me to come to him. He seemed really pissed in general. I was worried until we got to my destination that we were headed somewhere else just because the three times I tried to confirm the location, he only half repeated it (think: being worried driver is taking you to Tacoma Dome instead of Tacoma Dome Bus Station). I had asked to pay at drop-off when I reserved the ride, because I was worried about pre-paying not knowing the reliability of the service. Driver or dispatch (not sure who) interpreted this as "cash" and the driver was NOT happy he had to break out the square chip. I'm the kind of person who prefers a quiet drive option, is fairly flexible, and I totally get why someone might not be at their best so early. But there's a difference between being coolly professional (totally fine), and raising your voice, mumbling under your breath constantly, and acting like your passenger is a dumbass because you refuse to unlock or open the trunk for them to get their luggage out. Three stars because I am a very anxious traveler, and I appreciate having a service that shows up and gets me to my destination in a timely manner. You could probably do this and spit in my face and I would still give you two stars, because it's that important. Getting the call twenty minutes before pick-up to confirm really alleviated a lot of anxiety too, even though the call was oddly aggressive. Reliability is huge in my book, so I'm happy Ace is providing that. For your drivers: calm down, maybe. I'm very low maintenance, and I actually liked that this guy did not try to talk my ear off like some Uber/Lyft drivers. But when he did have to ask me anything, he treated me like a dog who just shit on his lawn. So, not a huge fan of that. I regularly travel internationally for long enough that it would cost too much to park near the airport, and I usually take advantage of early flights to avoid losing a day to travel. TBD on if I'll return to using Ace or if I'll explore other options the next time I need an early morning ride.

An hour late and they don't care. Someone I know was depending on the cab to get to work and will be now fired because Ace Taxi did not show up as promised. I can not ever recommend Ace Taxi of Lakewood, Washington. Ace Taxi is unprofessional, disorganized, and worse, they don't even care that someone will be fired because they were late and did not deliver a ride as promised! I can't believe how blasé they are about their lack of performance. They simply do not care that someone lost their job because the taxi didn't show up on time as promised.

We paid around $30 for the 3 of us, round trip. When you arrive, just get in a lane with your vehicle. Vehicles will enter in order of arrival. Fine for those who cut so please don't. If you don't make it on the ferry, then you'll have to wait for the next one. Have your tickets available, online or printed. While you're waiting, there's a cafe and eateries nearby. Once on Anderson island, there's a general store, museum, gift shop, sometimes garden market and other events, a couple of lakes, Air B&Bs. Definitely popular during the weekend so plan accordingly. When heading back on the ferry, line up the same way you arrived. If you're lucky an ice cream truck may stop by, otherwise not much to keep people occupied.

Your ticket is 'round trip, so be sure to hang on to it if printed. Once you arrive, be sure to get your car in line (lines 1-2) and await directions to drive on. The trip to Anderson Island is about 20 minutes, time enough for you to leave your car and go up top for pictures or to stretch your legs. There's a cabin area with tables that you can sit at and eat a snack if you brought one. There's also a convenience store and a park close by the port if you get there early.

My family of 4 took a trip out to Tacoma WA to visit with relatives, and at the recommendation of…read moreclose family, we made reservations with All City Airport Car Service. We needed a car seat and a booster seat for our children ages 4 and 7, and were told those would be available and ready when the car arrived. When the car did arrive, we watched our driver, Chris, opened the trunk, fetched a car seat and booster seat, tossed both onto the backseat, then stood by the opened trunk and watched as my husband loaded the luggage. Then as I wrangled my children and kept them away from airport traffic, I witnessed Chris circle back to the front seat, get in, close the door, buckle up, and then simply sit and watch as my husband again struggle for a good 10-15 minutes to attach and secure both the car seat and booster. If there were any legality that may have prevented Chris from setting up the car seat and booster seat beforehand, we were not informed. He said nothing. He did nothing. He just watched. The final straw was the state of the car seat: visibly grimy with dark stains. It looked like it was picked up on the side of the road or fished out of the dumpster somewhere. Our 4-year old became so frightened, he fought us and cried as we bit our tongue and strapped him in. The booster seat was in no better shape, but our 7-year old handled it better--kudos to him. The car itself, at least, was clean. The driving was safe, thank goodness, but the ride reflected its driver's bitter and sour mood. Our conclusion? Never again. If you are a family traveling with young children, take note.

I was worried that if i used a rideshare service a driver might not be available and prompt so early in the morning. Excellent service - clean car, plenty of luggage space, friendly and competent driver, and I called to book less than 24 hours the day before. Great peace of mind to not miss my flight. The person on the phone was competent and prompt to answer questions / give me a quote as well. These folks had the most competitive price leaving from a residential neighborhood in seattle (1/2 the cost of me paying to park at seatac). I will definitely book with them again for an early morning or late night airport ride.
