The taller heavy set man is generally friendly and have had no issues with. I went in today to have 2 watch batteries replaced and the shorter gentleman waited on me. He obviously was in a bad mood - exchanged no words just a sour look on his face - charged me $30 when in the past it was $20. Not only was it the price but it was his sour disposition. You think you would present a friendly congenial attitude toward you customers - not this guy. I almost told him to take the $30 and make a down payment on a personality. In the process, the jewelry store lost a part, scratched the crystal and my father was given the watch back IN A BAGGIE IN SEVERAL PIECES. AFter sending it back to the manufacturer, my dad received an estimate of $178 to fix the damages caused by Carlson's Jewelry Smithing. I took the estimate back to them assuming the owner would want to make it right, instead he swore at me (tell me my father was a "rude son of a bitch) and threw the estimate back at me state, "i'll see you in court". Nice way to run a business. After telling my story to several friends and co-workers, I learned of at least 8 other people who had similar run ins with this same business. DON'T EVER TAKE ANYTHING HERE TO BE REPAIRED!!! I wish I had know of all this before hand, that's why i felt compelled to post this...
