Small pierogi order 6 pierogi with beet salad and coleslaw.
    Ray B.

The pierogi house is a small polish restaurant serving homemade pierogi, cabbage rolls, borscht and other polish dishes. I opted for the 6 Pierogi special with beet salad and coleslaw. I had 2 potato and cheddar cheese, 2 broccoli and feta cheese, and 2 ricotta and spinach. All were nicely prepared. They prepare each order separately, boiled then on a flat grill for a bit to brown up. I would guess you could have them just boiled if you so desired. They have an assortment of toppings you can choose from including green onions, fried onions, sour cream, and bacon. The sour cream wasn't the best out of a squeeze bottle, not thick and tangy as you might expect from a home style restaurant. The only downside I can comment on is their price point, pretty expensive at $10.50 for a small order 6 Pierogi and 2 sides. The large is $13.50. A nice change from burgers and pizza. I recommend.

The family running this place is very sweet and kind. I believe it was the mother and one of her daughters who welcomed us to their restaurant as if it was their home. She talked about polish tradition and how the perogies are made. The moment I saw their grandmother walk out of the kitchen with a fresh batch of perogies, I knew this will be an authentic experience. I have to say that the price you pay is quite expensive for what you get. 6 perogies with a bowl of soup comes to approx $17. To be completely honest, I felt the perogies were a bit bland and was just unimpressive. The salads were refreshing but nothing special as well. It simply did not justify the cost. The soups on the other hand were absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed their garlic and pickled soup. They were very hearty and flavourful. I would highly recommend trying their soups over their perogies. Overall, the experience was quite neutral. The food was "A-OK", but quite expensive.

Cheese with bacon, sour cream and green onions. Side of beets and coleslaw.

My mom picked up cheddar cheese pierogies, and meat (pork and chicken) ones, with carrot salad, beet salad, and coleslaw sides. They were still warm fifteen minutes later, not overly soggy or crispy, and covered in sour cream, onions and real bacon bits. Not the fake stuff. They also have soup and shakes. We agreed that we liked the cheese pierogies best. The sides are nice and refreshing. For a person who can't stand coleslaw, I was impressed! It didn't have a strong mayonnaise flavour, but a pickle one instead, which was kind of weird. Can't wait to come back and try the blueberry ones!

I love perogie's! The best ones Ive ever had were in Montreal. So good. So, when I found out the was a new perogie place near my home I was excited. pros- its evidentnthe perogies were super fresh. and i loved that i could top them off with allthe fixins ie. sour cream, bacon, onion etc. love the assorted flavours as well. Also, restraurant super clean Cons- price. For 6 perogie's and two sides (quite small) i fell that 11 dollars was a lot. Especially since the perogies were quite small. Also felt the staff (who were super young 14-16) lacked people skills Overall, it was ok. Nothing special nothing bad.

    Quick and delicious lunch.

Service: Quick Atmosphere: Simple and to the point Food: Delicious Would return? Yes. Didn't make lunch the night before and was heading to the Pita Pit when I saw this new place next to it. Figured why not take try it out. Walking in one would see that the place is sparsely decorated but the colour scheme works for the place. While there are some small tables around edges it's clear this place is meant to be a grab and go, which makes it great for lunch. The woman taking orders at the counter was very kind and full of spirit taking down everyone's order and helping out with fulfilling them. The man grilling the pierogis had almost a laser focus on his work making sure none were over done. While the line up was long I got out of there relatively quick, the only thing I wish was that there was an option for a tip on the machine when paying with a credit card. I order a six pack of the spinach and ricotta, but I heard another mix and match between the wide variety of pierogis they have to offer. As sides I chose deli pickles and coleslaw, which were good just by themselves. The pickles were well pickles, not much one can say there, but the coleslaw was fresh and not drenched in whatever mayo based dressing places tend to over use. For toppings they have fried onions, bacon, green onion, and sour cream; I chose to get to get mine full dressed and was joyfully rewarded with my choice. I have had pierogis in the past where the wrapping was loose and the filling all jammed solidly together, but these were nothing like those. It's clear they make them fresh every day (even if you aren't able to catch a peek of them working in the back through the swing door) as the cheese was creamy and fluffy, with just a little bit of sweetness. The spinach did not offer much in taste but did pleasantly add to the consistency. The toppings were great compliments to the base pierogis, with my only regret being I didn't order more. This is a wonderful place to grab lunch or a quick meal on the way home. Be warned however this place specializes in just pierogis and eastern soups, so if you aren't in mood for those don't go here.

I've eaten here twice and both times the food was delicious. Clean restaurant, reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

Pretty decent place, I personally wish there were meat inside of the pirogies, but I can't complain. It was tasty

We were here for a weekend lunch and there were folks there for a late breakfast as well as another family with small children having a meal together. Based on the phone calls, it sounded like the place was booked full out that evening. We had (table of four): - Mixed Grill Platter (for two): it fed more like 3 - 4 people, lots of variety to pick at; Sausage (pork), Chevaps (pork and beef sausages), Raznjici (pork), Chicken Schnitzel and Karadjordjeva Schnitzel (Pork rolled & stuffed with prosciutto and cottage cheese) - Vienna Schnitzel (pork) - all the dishes comes with (potatoes OR rice) AND vegetables (buttered carrots, beans, broccoli, cauliflower); various potato sides (like crispy fries) as available and rice (like tomato gypsy based) There was enough food for four people plus leftovers as a side for dinner. The sauce was great on everything from the schnitzel to the fries. Service was quick, food was great, and it was all at a great value. Will be back to try their buttered fried mushrooms and nature (mushroom) schnitzel in future. A local staple!

The server was very attentive and friendly. The salad was good; however, the pork chop was a little dry, but it had good flavor, and the veggies were delicious.
