Made an appointment over the phone for Thursday in the morning, but when I arrived, there was a sign on the door stating that Dr. Marvin Pietruszka was on vacation and would not be present. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The team at the desk first said I didn't have an appointment, then said I wasn't in their system, then asked who I spoke with to schedule.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Eventually it came to light that the person I was speaking to had scheduled the appointment, but they claimed to have scheduled it for Tuesday - a day I would not have scheduled due to the amount of appointments already scheduled prior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I could hardly find the location of the office due to the front of the building being a massive dispensary. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Needless to say, after my experience I am not interested in scheduling an appointment for early next year. This was disappointing and frustrating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was my first scheduled visit and I will be spending the time today that I was hoping to have my scheduled appointment finding a new doctor instead. This Doctor spends the time to listen and follows like I have never seen. Granted he seems to have his patients arrive at the same time in the morning but once your in they are very thorough. Most Doctors are so rushed (HMO) you get 10 minutes of their time but Dr Pietruska spent 30 minutes and listen to my concerns.The office staff were polite and always working. The building might be aged but his office was clean and very sanitary. Remember why your their for a diagnosis and to address your health concerns. This is my first visit to his office. read more

I'm only giving it 1 star because I have to give a star rating to submit. I have only come here for annual physicals and referrals when needed. This place is gross and the better part of me hoped they'd improve. Who was I thinking?! when you walk in, it's dark, it's smells horrible, the waiting room looks like a scene from a horror movie and the staff is rude. Again- first time I experienced the staff, I thought I got them on a bad day, but after my final visit, I realized, this is just how it is. Machines are broken and they seem like they hire people who woke up and decided to be in the medical field. The entire place is so sketchy. Please believe all the bad reviews you've seen on here. I have been doctor Pietruszka's patient for 8 months now and I am 100% satisfied with the care provided. Yes the wait time can be lengthy, yes the clinic isn't spotless but the depth of care is spot on. The initial visit was so thorough I almost forgot I was there on a workers Comp claim. He reviewed my file and discussed courses of treatment that reduce symptoms and provide relief. Ran necessary test and reviewed numbers with me. The man is highly educated, experienced and genuinely concerned with providing a solution for medical condition. He works harder than any doctor I have ever met. First time patients be ready to wait 5 hours your first visit this place should be shut down.not good at all!

I have been to this medical center three times now and feel comfortable to leave a review. As far as the other negative reviews, I did not see the doctor mentioned in the previous reviews. I'm pretty sure the staff told me he retired when I asked on my first visit. I am currently seeing Dr. Dadalyan, who I believe has taken over the practice. I have not waited longer than twenty minutes for the doctor to arrive in my room. Dr. Dadalyan is very attentive, professional and intelligent. I had some nagging health concerns and he addressed them all masterfully, which is such a relief. The staff is courteous and efficient. The office and patient rooms are clean. There is ample parking in the back. Very happy to have found Dr. Daldayan. Highly recommended. read more

This doctor works for cid management for the employer's. When an injured employee's doctor tries to help and get the injured / disabled employee treatment through works comp, the employer pays this doctor, to find any reason to deny treatment. Even the most basic of treatments like pain medication to help the employee keep working. How can this doctor live with himself. When a honest doctor wants to help someone suffering, this doctor has no problem taking money to make up any reason to deny it. read more

Multiple times I have called to ask if I could come in for a walk in visit and they've said yes, then when I go in the doctor isn't there so I can't be seen that day...even though I had called a few days prior to verify. Aside from the long wait if you are able to see the doctor (about 4 hr), they won't give you lab results over the phone and they don't have an online patient portal - you have to go back in to receive results...ridiculous. Also, when I tried to make an appt the soonest was in 6 weeks... There must be a practice in the area better than this. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars they would get below that! I went here because this is what my medical had me under and I've been needing to go see a doctor. They say they don't do appointments so I had to walk in which I was fine with. I get there & everything was good, but then I get in the room & I'm waiting. Time has passed my overall time I was there was over 4 hours of course due to a lot of patients which I was still fine with... so the part that got me a little ticked off was when I over heard the workers including the doctors talk about "okay, let's hurry let's get this done & get through the patients" which is fine because I understand everyone is ready to go home. He comes in and barley leaves me room to talk ask me the basic questions and I wasn't sure if he was even gonna ask why I was there before we were already done him barley even being in the room... so I had told him my concerns and he didn't even really care... literally he did a drive by I'm lucky if he was even in the room for 5 mins. I feel like what I went in for could of been resolved & to me it was a serious concern, but I feel like he had no passion for what he does & I was trusting him because he's a "professional." To make a long story longer, I get to the counter to give them file so they can do it. I'm guessing they thought I was done because they didn't even bother to check my file at the receptionist desk. I was standing there waiting... thinking they're "working" but no. I was expecting more of a professional setting, but no one even wanted to be there. I had to say hello, I'm sure I'm doing blood work do I wait out here to be called?" I looked around to see where to wait or what was next so I asked. The girl is on her phone doing something on social media ignored me for a minute I asked again and finally got a response. Anyways they get around to doing my blood work & when I get to the station to draw blood the students all acted like they didn't know what they were doing jokingly of course but I just didn't feel comfortable because it's my life. I'm thinking they know what they're doing, but in my head I'm like oh man is this safe. Thankfully I have humor, but still it just wasn't right. There's more but just point is I'm not going back here if your doctor is set here and your new to the area I would recommend changing it. I did see the reviews on here and wanted to give it a chance because I was concerned for my health, but the doctor Marvin is very rude and the reviews are very TRUE! I called to ask him a question today and he didn't even let me talk enough and had me transferred out... I had to call back to ask him AGAIN and he was completely rude. Dr P is brilliant - he fixes your problem. Yeah the office is noisy and the help a little scattered but its clean and busy. Lots of families here and people that need medical attention so there is a wait but its well worth it once you see the Doc. He is amazing. He knows which pills to give for what and asks the right questions so that you don't have to keep coming back - he has to get it right the first time - he's too busy not to. This man does not deserve your time or money. He will NOT help you. Appointment at 2:30 arrived at 2:00 and signed in @2:05. Was looking forward to getting some help with my ongoing long standing issues. Was not acknowledged until 2:45 when given paperwork to fill out. None of the papers asked for my medical history or for the reason for my visit. Called in at 3pm when weight and BP were taken, then sent back out to waiting room until approx 6:30 when I was called into an exam room. I could hear the Dr in the room next door to me (neither his, or my exam room door was closed), talking to patient Christian Stuart about his medical history and past drug use. He came in to see me about 6:35 and it went like this: DR: Why are you here ME: Let me start by saying I have not seen a doctor for several years DR: What do you want ME: I am having issues with ongoing anxiety and i think i have depress--- DR: I don't deal with that. Go to mental health ME: ok. Also, I had a couple knee injuries and have movement and pain issues and its getting worse DR: What prescription do you want ME: I am here for help DR: What is your main complaint ME: My mental health, my knees, and I my dentist asked for this paper to be signed so she can do surgery on--- DR: It says high blood pressure. Do you have high blood pressure (KEEP in mind that the only thing they did during this visit is take my BP, but he wouldn't even look at the chart) I hesitated thinking he would refer to his records but instead he raised his voice at me as if he were talking to a child DR: DO. YOU. HAVE. HIGH. BLOOD. PRESSURE.? ME: Your nurse took it earlier (Pointing to the chart) DR: What else is wrong with you? ME: I had a MI 10 years ago. DR: Taking medication? ME: No DR: Surgeries? ME: Only the stents when I had my heart attack. DR: I can not sign this paper for the dentist until you get a full blood workup. They did not draw your blood while you were waiting? ME: No DR: Do you have veins or are they all ruined (VERY OFFENSIVE TO ME) And I see you are a new patient. No one told me. ME: ........ Can we do the blood draw n---- DR: You see its late I want to go home. Come back tomorrow and we will do it. ME: I can not come back tomorrow and wait for hours again. I am having neck and back pain from sitting in the waiting room for nearly 5 hours DR: Raising his voice EVERYONE waits. YOu wait too. ME: I understand but is there any option? DR: I can send you to a lab ME: Yes, please. And how about th---. (DR gets up and leaves room while I am speaking). I wait, thinking he may be setting up the lab referral but then I hear him talking to another patient. I walk out and try to get into his field of vision but he keeps turning his back to me. I wait for him to finish with the other patient but in the middle of talking to her about her condition (in the common area, not in a private room) he turns to me and glares at me. DR: I'm getting your blood work referral. ME: What about my knees, the pain and mobility? DR: You need XRays we will deal with that another time. ME: But that's what I'm here for. I got no exam, no physical and now you are dismissing me? So i just waited for 5 hours to have absolutely nothing done for me and you want me to come back? DR: (YELLING) I AM BUSY I AM TIRED DO YOU SEE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT NEED MY HELP ME: Yes Dr, I am here because I need your help. Please help me too. Can we make arrangements for the Xray? DR: I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE 7AM AND I WANT TO GO HOME I AM TIRED ME: I understand but I have been here for several hours myself. Can we please arrange the Xray now. DR: I don't like you. Find another doctor ME: Why won't you help me? DR: I am helping you. Come back another day. ME: But I have been here all day. I can't leave with nothing being done. DR: Find another doctor (to staff: Get her the blood referral) ME: How about that Xray? DR: GET OUT This is when I leave the common area that is full of staff and other patients and go back out into the waiting room to get my blood work referral. Loud and clear I hear the Dr say "Medi-Cal patient - Trash" I open the door and see that he made this comment to another patient. I look him in the eye and tell him "I heard you" DR: GOOD YOU ARE TRASH. MEDI-CAL IS TRASH I continue in the waiting room for the referrals and he yells "This is going to take a long time. Haha" Insinuating that he will not be cooperative in getting myu test results to me. DR: FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 40 YEARS AND NO ONE WILL CARE ABOUT YOU LIKE I DO. The front desk lady gives me the papers for the Xray and blood work and tells me to find another doctor. ME: WHy couldn't I just get these papers to begin with, we could have avoided all of this? Unfortinately this Dr. Is cold as a robot with no visible signs of being approprietely appointened as a priority "CARE" physician. The key word here being care. Dr. Pietruszka was Excellent. He was caring and knowledgeable. He did not judge my lifestyle and gave me excellent advice to improve my health and condition. Though I have a very rare genetic condition he not only knew how to address it, he has written papers and taught other students to address it. I would recommend this doctor to Women, Men, and 3rd Gender, or Transgender individuals of any diversity. read more

This is a horrible place nobody cares nobody wants to be there the doctor is washed up needs to retire and the student are awful they don't do anything but sit around and fight with each other and give patients salt I've never been in a place where I start to talk to random people and the only subject that comes to mind is "oh I've been here since 8:00 am and it's 6 pm" I go there right before they stop taking people's names around 3 ish and I leave at 7 everytime if you plan on coming here you better have a charger and patience where as all that sucks the worst part for me is the doctor himself for someone who seems to take pride in his life accomplments he's lost any passion for his job he cares more about reliving the sysptoms rather then fixing the real issue the bigger picture I could have some kind of serious problem that can worsen overtime and won't know. When you finally see the doctor it's like a feeling of relief like all that waiting gonna be worth it he talks to you for at most 5 minutes and quickly runs off and that's if your lucky cause sometimes the nurses can ask him to leave the room. After you've seem em good luck getting his attention hell ignore you and run away. He just doesn't care nobody does and it's sad cause so many people come here and waste their time might I add some people don't get to see the doctor I've seen people get up and just leave either because their sick of waiting or they have to go clock in at work very unprofessional, for someone who sees you for at most 5 minutes it really takes your whole day honestly hes probably just in his office all day. I was the first patient in. Been here since 8am, its going to be 1pm. While the medical assistants were taking my vital signs the dr said he had to leave for a deposition. How is a dr going to schedule me for today and walk out. My appointment was for 8am. I still havent been seen and i know by the time im done it will be 3. The reminder in line will have to be seen another day. I feel so bad for them because many look very ill. Due to the dr's negligence, only 4 patients get seen per day. How is this man still in business? Now lets go to the medical assistants. Everyone is tattooed up, all workers have attitude when asking when the dr will attend them. M.A's respond aggressively like wanting to fight. Stay away. If you get referred here ask to be referred elsewhere asap. Will be calling their higher up, also calling osha and hipaa.
