I was very impressed how my steak came out just as I requested - medium rare - and I couldn't get over how super tender and juicy it was. Maybe it's just me, but when the meat easily melts in your mouth, you have to slowly enjoy it. The veggies were fresh and seasoned nicely and the mashed potatoes came alive flavor wise thanks to the shredded cheese and bacon bits. I just wished they were a bit bigger to match the steak portions wise. As for the establishment itself, a bit noisy, but it can be easily overlooked by the laidback vibe. I really dug the music that was blasting through the speakers. One minute, it was Luke Combs. The next, Pantera. I'd say this place can be a hangout for me when I want to catch the Astros, Texans, or Rockets.

To make matters worse, our meal was ruined by a swarm of flies. When we asked the staff if they had a fly fan or any way to help mitigate the issue, we were simply told they didn't have anything. If a restaurant is going to charge high-end prices, they need to provide a high-end experience--or at the very least, basic pest control and seasoned food. We absolutely do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere that actually delivers on value and quality.
