While shopping with my family, we were greeted by the nicest young lady, Sarah. She was more than willing to help me find an item I was looking for, and was a ray of sunshine when checking us out. She asked us how our day was going and ended our conversation by telling us all to have a great week. I would love to see her get a raise as she told us she's still in high school and soon leaving for college to play basketball so I could imagine she's saving up. Order broasted chicken and a sheet cake for a baptism. They had everything ready on time and it all was delicious. It was all very reasonably priced as well! On the day-to-day, the store is clean and usually well stocked. I do find that they are a little higher priced than Pick 'n' Save or Meijer. I like having a close local option, and like that they support to community. read more

It's not often I shop here for groceries as it's out of the way for me but I do go out of my way to shop their craft beer section! Excellent choices, almost all of which are cooler-kept and their prices are on par with, or beat, some of the lowest others around. If you need assistance, the liquor store guy is very knowledgeable as well as friendly which is the icing on the cake for a great place to shop beer in the burbs. read more

Thanksgiving dinner requires a lot of prep and food. Preparing a Thanksgiving dinner the day before to be taken on vacation with us requires even more prep. Luckily, I don't mind grocery shopping and braved it on Thanksgiving Eve. This Piggly Wiggly is nice, but a little on the small side. Not surprisingly, the place was packed. The fruit and dairy aisles are a little cramped and hard to navigate. I could completely disregard those aisles because of the seasonal/special aisle across from the cheese and milk. There, they have a treasure trove of new, useful, and interesting things. I stocked up on the seasonal Ambrosia chocolate bars after a successful use of them in cake balls. The different kinds were nicely laid out and easy to figure out what I needed. My mom ordered turkey breasts from the butcher here. With one ring of the button, we had our turkey day prized loot. On other occasions, we've ordered fresh hot dog and hamburger buns here with great success. Despite its size, this Piggly Wiggly packs a fresh and friendly punch. I especially like this Pig for their contribution to the annual Cedarburg Fourth of July parade. read more

Our main store for groceries. Since Covid hit this store has been outstanding keeping the shelves stocked. We may buy a specific item or two somewhere else, but 90% of our staples are bought here. Especially enjoy the employees. Simply terrific "down to earth" folks. read more

7-14-17: After numerous tries, to buy your Butcher Shop meats, I have to say, I will never buy any meat from you again. Tonite, we tried the pork/breaded with ham and cheese. So very bland and chewy. I have tried your homemade sausage and other things. Very disappointed, I will do my shopping at the Mequon Pig, much better meats/sales and service. Too Bad, you have a nice looking store read more

Piggly Wiggly's donuts are AMAZING! The long johns and everything. They usually are sold out by 11:00 am (unless you go on Monday--thats a slower day for donuts) so I recommend going there early to get them! SO WORTH IT! I have to share a review for both the floral section and the bakery at the Cedarburg Piggly Wiggly. I recently got married, and began my search for all my vendors for venue, dress, flowers, cake, etc. It's a daunting task. After interviewing a few different florists, my mom suggested working with Terri, the floral manager at the Piggly Wiggly. I shared some photos with her of my ideas, and she handled all of the floral needs for our wedding with incredible skill and talent. I was blown away by the finished product--from the bouquets, to the church flowers, to the gorgeous centerpieces at the venue (which was the Milwaukee Art Museum). They all surpassed my expectations, and for a very affordable price! We also ordered our cake through Alli in the bakery at Piggly Wiggly. Again--she did a fantastic job. I even heard a comment from a guest at the wedding that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. The two of them worked together to deliver everything to the venue and get it all set up. I am not sure people think of Piggly Wiggly when thinking of flower and cake needs for their wedding, but they surpassed my expectations, and could not have been nicer to work with. My sister told me her story of why she will not shop in this store anymore. Her ground flax seed for $2.48 is gone. And it was replaced by designer ground flax seed for over $6.00 dollars. Now I no longer will shop at this store either because I just cooked a turkey thigh that turned out to be all back bone and no meat. It would not feed one person. What a waist of my kitchen resources. Aldi's here we come. Olsen's only want the cream off the top shopper willing to pay ridicules prices for poor quality. They are replacing all the basic's with designer crap. More profit for them to cater to Yuppies. It is getting so costly to live in Cedarburg and Grafton. We are turning into ski towns that pushed out the locals because the tourists and Yuppies will pay designer prices. Thanks Starbucks !!!! read more
