Great cheese selection for really great prices. Stopped in…read morejust a few minutes before they closed and staff was still very polite and helpful.

This place is somewhat "hidden" a block off the main drag through downtown Cedarburg (Washington…read moreSt.). They have a very large selection of cheeses from Wisconsin, the US, and abroad, with lots of unique offerings. We tried a chicken soup Monterrey jack and a mustard Gouda, both of which we really enjoyed. The chicken soup cheese actually tastes like chicken broth from a rich soup, which was definitely a new experience. The room is decorated and bright, and felt like a great spot to stop on a Saturday afternoon. It's a nice change of pace from the usually-crowded bars through downtown Cedarburg. You should be aware that the tasting room apparently can't serve charcuterie boards themselves because of the class of license (maybe no food service cert.) but they're happy to help you enjoy any of the cheeses you purchased in the store and offer you some wine(s) to accompany them. The bartender graciously offered us some crackers to go with the plate and we were able to put together a satisfying little wine tasting experience! The one thing I would like to see is a few more wines on offer for the wine flights; at the time, they were a bit heavy on sweet white wines, which is just not my taste but may be popular in the area. They also have a cocktail list, beers, and their own brand of several liquors, so there are plenty of options. We will be back for a nice afternoon glass of wine and some cheese. It's also a good source of reasonably priced cheeses and wine if you want to have a picnic at the parks nearby.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner at the Grafton Ladies Night Out Pajama Party Event tonight…read more She and her team were one of the vendors in Main Street right near Colectivo. They came ready for business! They had a variety of products and could accept any version of payment your pajama clad self offered -- including Google pay! I had a good time laughing and exchanging jibs about Garrett's popcorn in my childhood hometown -- Chicago! I was told to try the "Chicago" label from this shop. I warily agreed and promised to write what I discovered! First, let me say! Garrett's is my all time FAVORITE!! I am one of those people who would stand in the line that wraps around the block for hours in the sub zero weather just to buy a bag of the cheesy caramel mix! I have to report, with a heavy heart ... I will not be driving to Chicago for Garrett's again! As the owner promised, this popcorn is wonderful! It was WI cheesy and the caramel made me feel all Christmasy sweet and buttery inside (and I don't celebrate Christmas)! I only wish I could have had this cheesey popcorn warm right out of the kettle. I can just imagine what THAT tastes like! I will definitely have to make a trip to Cedarburg to find this shop. In fact I'm going to have to walk there from Grafton so I can burn enough calories to earn the right to eat a bag of that popcorn right in the shop!

They are helpful and personable, which makes me feel appreciated. They sure know how to fill the plastic popcorn bag to it's fullest! They offer a ton of fun flavors and flavor combinations. I happen to love their plain, simple buttered popcorn. If you can make plain popcorn exciting, you are doing something right. And they certainly do that here. I don't live in the area but when I visit Cedarburg, Cedarburg Popcorn Company is my first stop. Then, when I'm leaving I pick up another bag to take home.

I ordered an italian sub, chips and a drink that came to over $14.00…read more The meat and cheese were sliced paper thin, very skimpy. There was hardly any lettuce, tomato and onion, just a sprinkling. No spices. No detectable oil on the sandwich. Sad.

This review is not so much regarding the Grafton location as much as the corporate. I called and…read moreordered 100 subs about a week in advance of the event as a courtesy for the amount that we were ordering. I did ask2 questions. One I have a tax exempt number because of this is a religious function and second was that I had a 20% off coupon. I was told I could use both. Using that 20%off made is reasonable to be able to order the subs. Upon looking at the receipt, I thought that the amount was more than I had calculated. The receipt only showed $10.00 for the 20% off. (My entire bill was $385.00) Which made the amount well above what I was expecting. Also noted that we could not obtain points because it was past the 4 days to enter. EVEN though we didn't pick up and pay for the order until the 19th. Upon asking the store manager about these questions he was polite and just stated that it was the corporate policy about the limit of $10 off. I did not note that on our phone conversation. And that yes, the 4 days had past. The manager gave us the corporate number to call. We did contact them and they just told us that it is the policy that the limit was $10.00. Even though we were not informed or that was noted on the coupon. All corporate would do is give an additional points. How would that help our past religious even or even a few subs credit. I have ordered from them before for this same event and had no issues. But the cost was also less which made it reasonable to use them. The subs were great and ready on time. My complaint is that the corporate offices are not in tune to keeping recurring customers. I will not be using Cousins again for any further functions. Will also try different Sub shops chains in the future.
