Really cute kids hair salon. Our kiddo was entertained and Daisy was super sweet and calming. After viewing other stylists with various other children, some with special needs- you could tell how great everyone was with being poised and considerate. Our littles walked away feeling super adorable and she looked it too!

Marie did a beautiful job on my daughter's hair. She has tiny curls, and they get tangled easily, but she was able to get them all out and do a beautiful side braid as well. Fun kids vibe of course as well!

This place is pretty awesome. Although I do not remember the names of the employees, I scheduled a hair cut for my 2yr old and nail-polish session for my 5yr old. Inside, you'll find cute cars and trains for toddlers to sit in during their hair cuts/trims. My son was a huge fan of the train only after his session was done. The waiting area has a combination of seats, small-toy store items(automobiles, stuffed animals, trinkets, etc.) a hands-on train table and a treasure chest for kids to grab a prize after their session is done! Appointments were scheduled via website; the options are clear with direct price points and a box for notes you want to include. My son is considered non-verbal, so I chose the haircut package which included extra time (this package is specifically catered to children with special-needs). He may not be in this category, but I felt a potential 30min rather than a 10min haircut would prove successful (this was my son's first trim). The woman who cut my son's hair was extremely patient. She let me place him on my lap and moved around as needed. My son thrashed and screamed, but we both made it work . While my son had his haircut, my daughter had her nails painted. She was able to pick her own colors and had a little seat next to a tv. She needed to wait for about 7min for her polish to dry (she also needed her thumb repainted for touching it ). They gave her a cute little ribbon and some glitter for her hair . Why a 4/5 Stars: _The floor did not look as swept. There were still chunks of hair that littered the reception desk and waiting area. My kids were the first appointments of the day, so seeing this much hair upon opening was a little uncomfortable. _ My son's hair-stylist smelled strongly of cigarettes. I get headaches pretty easily, so I was rather overwhelmed exerting my strength to hold down my son while inhaling cigarettes' scent. _I wish I had a hair-covering cape for my body while holding my son. I anticipated holding my son and though to ask for a cape, but when it wasn't presented, I assumed they didn't have one. This may have been my fault as well. I think used about 20 lint roller pieces and I still had a ton of my son's hair.

I usually don't like to write reviews unless they are positive but I chose this place based on the reviews and felt quite disappointed after we left. First it is VERY expensive for kids haircuts. I usually never pay more than $15-17 + tip for a cut for them at a salon. So for $21 I was expecting the same service or better. My 5 year old was super excited and kept wanting to look around. The stylist seemed a little impatient with him. Instead of trying to distract him or redirect him she just kept asking him to hold still.... not really what works for most 5 year olds, especially ones who are super excited. I tried helping her redirect him but my 3 year old was also getting a cut at the same time so I was trying to go back and forth between the 2 of them. She was nice, but I felt she could have done a better job trying to work with him. I'm also not super impressed with their cuts either. They seem a little choppy and uneven, especially my 5 year olds neckline. I get that he was moving but most stylists have been patient with him and able to get a strait line. Maybe by giving him something to hold or play with in his lap or putting on a tv show to keep his interest. I also noticed my 3 year old had a little nick behind his ear. Nothing major but I noticed a little blood behind his ear when I got him in the car. Overall the experience felt rushed and impersonal. I totally understand kids cuts can be hard especially when they can be wiggly but I feel like if that is what you specialize in you should be really good at redirection and more patient with your little clients. Especially if you are going to charge so much.

I have been trying for months to convince her to get a hair cut as she loves her long hair and finally while we were on vacay in Phoenix she finally said yes. They were awesome and she loved the outcome.

To whom it may concern- Here is my official attempt at returning your contact regarding my poor review of your employees/establishment: I stopped your stylist because I was truly shocked and angered while she was working on my child. I noticed her behavior IMMEDIATLY upon my first interactions with her, she was standing and talking very strangely- to the point I even asked if she was feeling alright! She was slurring her words, spaced out, completely missing my sons head with the clippers, practically falling over, almost cationic while attempting to work on him. I was on edge noting what a truly awful cut she was doing but put a complete stop when my son cried out after she scratched his skin because she was so unfocused. Besides that GIANT HOLE she left in my picture taking the bottom most layer to the top of his hair line, and uneven patches is something you think doesn't warrant an outburst? "Slightly uneven" is a gross understatement for how she cut my sons hair- and this was CONFIRMED when I had to take him to different salon to attempt to even his hair out- she was forced to cut shave his hair down almost completely. And your response that I wasn't going to have to pay for this??? My child's well being and safety had been grossly mismanaged and your thoughts were about money- showed me that you were a poor choice to have taken my son to - I wanted nothing at all to do with you, your "stylist" or your business. Both the work and comment were so beyond infuriating that my leaving was to avoid any further conflict from the truly awful experience. This is the first time I'm ever leaving a review. My daughters went in with my husband yesterday to get a hair cut. Long story short - they braided it before he got a chance to look at it and it's a complete hack job. My oldest hair is the worst, youngest at least can be hid with a pony tail but still needs to be fixed and is not what we asked for. I didn't look at the reviews on yelp ahead but see that this is a complete theme of this place including rudeness by the manager. So my bad on that. I spoke to the manager and requested a refund for just one of their cuts which seemed reasonable giving the fact that I have to pay now to go somewhere decent and get it fixed. She only offered to fix it or give me a free haircut but I can't understand why I would ever want to bring the girls back when they clearly cannot cut hair. I was absolutely livid in the phone. I notified the corporate office and am waiting to hear back from this locations owner since the manager was completely useless. Def beware and take your kids to a place that actually knows what they are doing. Update: Spoke to the store owner who was extremely gracious and understanding. She provided a full refund.

Took in my 4 year old for her first haircut today and Jenna was amazing!! She was so patient and had a great attitude despite my daughters hair being very difficult since it is curly and gets really tangled. Will be going back!

Shauna used to do his hair and with scheduling differences, Stephanie took over and we have been very pleased and impressed. She does such a great job and listens to what we want. When we walked in, it absolutely delivered on the kid vibe. Toys everywhere, colorful decorations, kid-themed everything. So far, so good. Then we noticed there was a wait. No big deal. As we're waiting, I look over and see what looked like an 11- or 12-year-old getting a haircut. Fair enough. Then I scan the room a little more... And there, sitting in a race car haircut chair designed for children, was a fully grown man. I'm talking mortgage-paying, tax-filing, probably-has-a-401(k) grown man. At that exact moment, the entire experience became unintentionally hilarious. Here we are, excited and emotional about our toddler's first haircut milestone, while Randy from Accounting is getting a fade next to the bubble machine. Maybe it's just me, but I genuinely didn't realize there was no age limit. The place seemed clean, friendly, and definitely kid-oriented. But the vibe got a little weird once I realized our son was waiting behind adults for an appointment at what I thought was a children's haircut place. We trusted our gut, laughed about it, and decided to leave. No hard feelings. I'm just still trying to process the fact that my son's first barber-shop memory almost involved sitting behind a 35-year-old man getting a trim under a giant cartoon giraffe.

This was…read moremy nephew's second haircut ever, and his first haircut at another kids salon was pretty traumatic, so we were specifically looking for a place that would make the experience fun, comfortable, and positive for him. One of the things we liked right away was the option for kids to sit in toy cars during their haircut. It's a really cute concept and the idea is perfect for making kids feel more comfortable. However, a couple of the cars (specifically the Lightning McQueen car and the Frozen Jeep) were pretty worn down and didn't look like they were in the best condition. The stylist who cut my nephew's hair did a good job with the actual haircut. My sister showed her a picture of what he wanted: a mohawk with a longer tail in the back, but not as much of a mullet. When the stylist responded, "Well, that's a picture of a mullet, so what do you want me to do?" it immediately made the process feel more stressful than it needed to be. We ended up finding another reference photo that better showed what we were looking for. I will say, I was impressed that before using the clippers, she let my nephew touch them and see them first. That small step mattered because he was nervous after his previous experience. However, beyond that, there wasn't much interaction or reassurance with him throughout the haircut. I expected a little more patience, enthusiasm, and engagement from a salon that specializes in children's first haircuts and helping kids feel comfortable. The positive is that his haircut turned out great. The final style looked exactly like what we wanted, and the experience was definitely not nearly as traumatic as his first haircut somewhere else. I'm grateful for that. Overall, the haircut itself was a success, but the experience didn't quite match what we were hoping for from a kids-focused salon. I think with a little more warmth, communication, and attention to helping kids feel comfortable, this place could be amazing.

That moved us into the next week and the first opening they had was the following Thursday, 7/9 at 6:15 PM. I asked the scheduler if there might be consideration of some compensation for two cancellations on their part one of which was an hour and 10 minutes before my hair was to be done.. she said she would talk to the owner and get back with me. You guessed it nobody called me. I didn't show up for my appointment on time and for the most part the experience was good. I was told I probably would not like my hair at first because it's a process of transitioning to gray. When I went to ring out, I was charged $145, I asked what the extra $25 was for and was told that some special toner had to be used. Since I had had a consultation already, and the plan for my appointment have been determined, I assumed the extra cost would have been relayed to me if more product was necessary. The next day, I did reach out to Adam to voice my opinion that I was disappointed no one had called me back, that I had hoped for some type of compensation for their 2 cancellations, and I felt like the total cost of my service should have been relayed at the consultation. His first response was to accuse me that I had canceled previously, which was absolutely not true. Once I pointed that out to him, he did apologize, but then said our price is our price and he cannot control people getting sick.. this was an unacceptable way to handle business and I will not spend any more of my money there.

I received an automated confirmation text two days prior, so I had no reason to believe there was an issue. When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.
