This is my happy son after his haircut!

Jen was amazing! The entire experience was perfect for me and my little one! She was so good with my son and he responded really well to her warm and friendly vibes. From the very start with choosing his cape, and then talking about what she was doing all the way through the process. I was extremely impressed with her expertise and just as equally touched by her kindness. Thank you!

Took my one year old there for his first hair cut. I asked the lady to just take enough off his bangs so he could see and she cut 3 inches off in a jagged, choppy manner while he was screaming in my arms. I actually never gave her the go ahead to cut it. She wasn't interested in talking through options with us and made it obvious that she thought his hair should be short, not long how i wanted it. I left feeling defeated and cried in the parking lot. She took off so much of his hair leaving his bangs in a right angle on the sides. She then realized that she didn't save any hair for us to bring home so she just snipped hair off the top of his head. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because when we went back, Allison, the manager was very helpful and understanding and offered to fix it as much as she could so it wasn't as bad while growing back in. It's not shorter than i ever wanted, but at least allison was able to make him look semi-normal. I'm so sad that our first child's first haircut is now remembered as an upsetting experience. I will never go back to this place.

I had reservations about going here but despite my gut instinct I went anyway. My 2.5 year old girl had long beautiful hair that had never been cut but she hated me brushing or styling it so we decided to get her a bob haircut before she started preschool. I told the stylist to do a chin length bob, she said okay, and then just started hacking at her hair with no real technique or care. When I asked her to stop cutting, my girl had a choppy Dutch boy haircut, longer and very sloppy in the back. I also wanted to save a good amount of her hair but because of how sloppy it had been cut there was barely a salvageable chunk. The little bit of hair that was saved I tried to straighten out so it could be tied in a ribbon for a baby book, but it was handed to the woman at the front counter who took it and shoved it into a tiny ziplock bag, now it's a tangled squished mess. We had to pay for a second haircut at a different salon to have my baby's hair fixed, it now looks great and the woman who fixed it was appalled by what had been done. This place could be doing so much better by their customers and for their own reputation if the stylists would just take their time and actually try a little harder to execute good haircuts. Just because they're doing kids cuts doesn't mean the work shouldn't be taken just as seriously as an adult cut. Trust this and the other reviews, this place is not good and will leave you very disappointed.

a lady there cut off my son's ear because they are too rude, i will never go back to this place

I find it terrible that these women who work there are not careful with the children they are too rude I will never come back here the lady who motivated my son cut my baby on the ear and she stayed as if nothing was happening, I do not recommend this hairdresser, it is only beautiful but the attention is terrible

This was the worst experience ever. Look at my poor son's hair

They played here earlier in the year with their parents. Today was a blazing hot day, and we wanted to have a nice day with the boys, so we chose to come here. The place is really neat. Large jungle gym type thing that kept my boys running for a full two hours. I mean running nearly nonstop. Now I will say parents/guardians need to watch their rug rats. On this contraption, there are a couple of areas where a kid could get hurt. But you kinda have to know your kid and have the ability to say "Don't you dare." But overall a safe playtime. As for the location: one small challenge is that the door and the counter are close. Which means it can be tight in that area as folks pay, take off their shoes, sign their waivers, and attempt to wrangle their herd. They give you containers for shoes and there are a few combination lockers available. No charge. There are tons of tables and chairs and I saw several birthday parties going on. There is some food offering here but not a meal. I don't think I'd plan on eating lunch here. There are plenty of sugar boost items though, candy and ice cream. Prices weren't that bad. Now not really the fault of the management but some kids are nuts (lol) and sadly some caregivers are not watching their borderline feral children. So again watch yours. With this said, I was shocked not to see staff (like a lifeguard at the beach) attempting to watch over the place. The location seemed clean, despite the 150 kids running around. So again: nice indoor play place, not many decent food options(no outside food allowed), watch your kids, and have a great time. I'm confident we will be back.

These boys did NOT pay for this ride and felt they could push motorcycles around and jump on the back of other children's motorcycles. NO ONE from Kids Empire supervised or monitored this area. Although I asked these boys to leave my grandchildren alone, they persisted. My granddaughter's motorcycle was pushed against a wall and her foot was pinned between a metal bar and the motorcycle. She was unable to put weight on her foot; took her to urgent care and for x-rays. Nothing broken, but on crutches. Unless you want to supervise your children and other children, this place is a free-for-all and accidents waiting to happen.

I was told they would open when they "could". I understand difference in crowds, but don't charge full price if all is not open. This just is not the right way to run a business. Reduce your prices if only a few things are open and/or notify people when they buy tickets. Appalling. Needs to be a "0" option for stars. Additionally they decided to close at 7:30 rather than 8:00. A tremendous, total and COMPLETE RIPOFF. I would like my money back and will never come again. Just one more comment: filthy!!!!! At the…read morecounter, the employee explained that the subscription could be canceled at any time and even mentioned she had seen it done before. Based on that information, I signed up. There is also pressure at the counter to make a quick decision, especially with a long line of customers waiting behind you, which makes it difficult to thoroughly read and understand the contract in its entirety before signing. After realizing the park's hours of operation did not work with my son's and my schedule, I immediately reached out by email requesting to cancel the membership. My request was denied. I also explained the financial hardship caused during the government shutdown, contacted corporate directly, and submitted a formal letter, yet they still refused to work with me. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that this park is not customer-focused. Customers are locked into a strict 12-month contract regardless of whether the membership becomes unusable, financially difficult, or was originally presented in a misleading way. PLEASE CHECK BUSINESS HOURS AND THE CANCELLATION POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING ANY CONTRACT.

Get them involved in cooking young so they can help in the kitchen later. Anyhow they made cinnamon and sugar dog shaped bones (for ppl not made for dogs). They gathered flour in a cup. Idk u gwt a huge cupful thats overflowing and to tap it three times to get air pockets out and then go across it with a knife or something similar to get rid of extra flour and get a nice evening cup of flour. They loved that and my 4 year old ended up with flour all over her pants. SHE REALLY GOT INTO IT. LOL. Then to complete the dog biscuits they rolled dough, pressed the dog shaped biscuit cookie cutter into the dough and added a few swipes of butter to coat it and added a pinch of cinnamon and sugar and since its just a,short class, they let them try samples of them they had already baked. Next station was strawberries with mascapone icing. They used a straw to push out the stem and then cut it in half and added icing. Oh man think that was the favorite station for all three of my kiddos. My 4 year old was like, "mmmm." Hehe. The other two kids inhaled it without much talking which means it was agreeable to their sometimes fussy pallets. You know how kids are if ur a parent or nanny. FUSSY. LOL. NEXT and final station was biscuit/croissant making. It was equivalent to making Pillsbury dough biscuits but way cooler. They told them ingredients used to make dough, played with flour and made a cup of flour again as before, rolled out dough again, rolled into a small crossaint, buttered it and added spices to it. If there has been time to make it they would have done something for 8 mins I think. Idk what temperature tho. They tried yet another sample. Seriously I can't rave about this place enough. Staff was amazing. The bakers/employees hired are professional to be on TV, super helpful and FUN. They have cooking classes for like $30/kid or $99 for monthly classes I think she said. Not sure of exactly details but that's what I gathered. Take your kids there, you won't regret it and your kids will love it!!!!
