Me and Boo with Lavender Martini and Spiced Old Fashioned. Cheers!

This is a new place in Arlington, my hometown. Decided to give it a try and was throughly pleased with the service. They offer a good variety of music and the food was delicious. I got the rice bowl with pork belly bites. My husband got the patty melt with a side of mac. Very, very tasty. I also got a recommended lavender martini (vodka) and that was delicious giving me the good feels. My husband enjoyed his old fashioned. Listen, we will definitely be coming back. It's a fun lively spot and everyone was just so pleasant! With March Madness going on, they have their brackets up following the games; the tvs showing the games. We had a good time and good chats with the staff.

What a great place this is now. It's right on the corner of Columbia Pike & S Walter Reed. It's a cute little building great atmosphere great bartender great Management and great food. if not a big place, but it has a patio main floor bar and an upstairs Been there several times plan to continue to go really enjoy the atmosphere. They're always doing something new and exciting They have great little inventive drinks. They'll make the standard drink standard beers, but they have a wide variety of Virginia liquors and other different things and plus your standard running the meal bar stock. do yourself a favor try this little place out right on Columbia Pike. You'll really enjoy it.

Pike Cornerstone took over from Rebellion on the Pike. I really enjoyed Rebellion as a local pub specializing in local whiskey and I was sad to see it close. However, I was also interested in giving Cornerstone a shot. My husband and I visited on Veterans Day for dinner. We had no problem finding a table. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. They have a nice cocktail menu and good beer and wine selection as well. I decided to try the Newman Lake cocktail and my husband ordered an Old Fashioned. Both were tasty. I also tried the Strawberry Bourbon Smash and that was heavy on the citrus notes...zesty even. We ordered the Pike Nachos, Cross Street Burger and Patty Melt. It was a ton of really good food. We had to get a to go box. I'd definitely comeback. Thanks for a great dinner experience!

We have been waiting for this place to open since we saw it being worked on. Finally made it out on a Friday in the early evening with the wife and kids. The space is great - you can tell it was put together with love. It was full enough that the host brought us upstairs, which was empty when we got there at 5:30 but full when we left. They have a great beer list (Veil!), and the appetizers we had (chicken wings and the h-u-g-e pretzel) were top notch. The stuff we had for dinner (burger, chicken sandwich, chimichangas, flank steak) was a couple notches below the apps. Almost enough to call this a happy hour place only, but we will probably try dinner again sometime because everything else brought smiles.

Came through on a Tuesday evening at around 7:30pm to check the place out. It was pretty empty and slow. Had some beers, wasn't a fan of the spirit selections. Ordered the pork belly which was very flavorless and even adding some lime, it just didn't have taste. A friend was telling me about a shrimp bowl he ordered and was annoyed cause the shrimp had the tails on. Super disappointed! The staff was ok., attentive but then again the place didn't have much going on. The place seemed pretty bright which is nice and organized. May give it a try after some months to see if the food is any better.

The birthday girl and the amazing staff!!!

Now this post is more than just a shout out to the amazing team over at Pikecornerstone for completely saving my birthday party on Saturday night. Needless to say that things didn't go so well at 2910 Kitchen & Bar due to very unprofessional owners and an ill equipped staff. After hearing that my DJ's music was being turned down for no reason, there only being 4 staff members for almost 100 people, my guests being made to wait almost an hour or more just to still not receive the food or drink orders they placed as well as one person receiving a drink with a whole grown ass fly in it ‍, I had had enough!! Now if you know me, you know there's 3 things that I don't play with...being disrespectful, my money and of course my birthday! Well they tried me on all fronts! So I had to put a quick end to that tom foolery and shut things down. In a quick decision to save what was left of the night, I ran next door and was greeted by the most friendly faces. Not only did they welcome us with open arms, they handled our almost 100 guests with ease! Think they even called reinforcements in and all! People were seated and served within minutes! For the rest of the night everyone ate, drank and was merry! Especially me!! My DJ was even allowed to play some of my favorite songs. They checked on me consistently and made sure I was well taken care of. We sang and enjoyed the night like NOTHING ever happened! Think we ate them out of house and home like my grandma used to say! The service was TOP NOTCH! I thank the entire staff for being so freaking awesome and amazing all in one! If you are looking for quality service, good drinks, delicious food, and a great time, I highly recommend this establishment! I will definitely be back!! #QueenG #IssaBirthday #IssaCelebration #FourtyFine #45ShadesOfPink #PikeCornerstone #ArlingtonVa #HumbledAndBlessed Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Both times we've gone, it was during their happy hour, which runs until 7 pm, and we stuck to the special menu. Those have included their Charcuterie Board (something that contributed to Dr. Oz not being a senator), crispy Brussels sprouts, their Margarita flatbread, chicken skewers, and truffle fries. Don't hate us; that was spread over two visits. Everything tasted great, though next time I think we'll graduate to the real menu. The wines we've tried so far were either inexpensive or not bad. For inexpensive, I've had glasses of their $3 Tempranillo. While it wasn't great, I've paid a lot re for much worse. For "not bad", my wife had the $10 Buehler Cab. After it opened up for a bit it was quite drinkable.

There's two parking garages nearby and street parking. It's also walking distance from the Courthouse Metro stop. I sat at the bartop and my server was named Julia and she was so friendly! I asked her a bit about the menu and I ordered this drink that was kinda like a whiskey sour but I'm blanking on the name. The interior of Verre was nice. It looked like a wine bar, very quiet wasn't too loud despite me going around dinner time. Def a great place for a girls night or date.

Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. The bartender told me the place doesn't come alive until about 9pm, so that's when it's crowded and probably off the chain.

I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.

About that $23 salad: The portion is a little skeet (that's an STL term - look it up) but the chicken was honestly juicy and flavorful as hell. And, the salad was full of very fresh spinach, and maybe other greens, as well as a good dressing. They provided a healthy amount of shaved Parmesan, which is my favorite. I would definitely order this again if I knew I was going to be around for a while and really wanted a salad. The vibe inside is so cute. This particular location is huge and there are various types of seating available. They have Wi-Fi, which is helpful., and some of their furniture is super comfy. It is the perfect place to connect or reconnect with a friend. I have never been much of a coffee shop, girl, but I could definitely see myself coming here multiple times a week. Service was good. I didn't interact with them much because all I did was order from a little QR code at my table and they dropped it off, but when observing them interacting with other customers, they seemed nice For the size of this place and people coming in and out, it was surprisingly clean, too. Could not ask for a better parking situation. Ordering was almost seamless. We got there at 1 o'clock, middle of the day on 4/18, plenty of empty tables. We went up to the bartender to take our order, and then gave them our table number and they delivered it. The QR code on the table only shows you the menu. It is not used for ordering, which was odd these days. Chill and super awesome bartender with the mother of all hickeys. Good pours. No Skrewball :-( I had the special, two hot dogs with tater tots. When it said double, I wasn't sure if that meant double the tater tots, but that meant actually two hot dogs. Really good. I also had the other special, the two pancakes. I meant to get the sausage, but they gave me the bacon instead. It was great. Well worth it. I thought that was the better value of the meals. They got a lot of board and card games. Very laid-back atmosphere, 90s and early 2000s pop on the music, comfortable seating, and good food. The prices were reasonable. This is one area that I think we are just going to have to deal with for quite some time. The give-and-take of prices,. Smothered tater tots, pancakes, two hotdogs with some tater tots, and three drinks came out to ~$55. NOT. BAD. Was it worth it? If this had been just a normal restaurant, I would've said no. It would've been more worth it if it had been about $40. But... nobody made us pay to use the board games, or the card games, and we sat there for three hours and had a really good time. So based on that, the fact they provide a venue for playing these games and hanging out for a few hours makes it all worth it. Really strange thing was that there was this balding guy with a beard that randomly showed up as a waiter. We had been dealing with a bartender, so this guy, kind of rude came on to us and we weren't sure what to do with him. He kind of blocked me from paying the bartender. Rude. Not a hangout spot every day, but certainly once a week, maybe once a month or more, definitely a place to meet up if you got a group. I was really surprised by the diversity of the people that were there. A lot of chess players, a whole table of middle-aged women, lots of different people playing games. I would give them five stars, but not quite perfect. The rude guy at the end was so odd. Otherwise, great location, great parking, the food was good, good value, and fun.
