I wanted to love this place, I really did. The food was great but the service was lackluster. The place was pretty quiet and mostly empty for a Sunday evening. We had secured reservations prior, for our group. We sat down and were given menus, and asked what we wanted to drink right away. However, we had to ask to order our food after it was about a half hour without being asked if we were ready to order. (And I had to ask for silverware for the table, and flag down for another drink). Mind you this place was pretty empty for the most part, except for at the bar where there were a small handful. The entire group agreed, the service was really slow / inattentive and they were getting frustrated with it. Anyway, food was pretty good. We haven't been to brass rabbit in a while. The menu has changed since we were here last. My son always wants the eggs Benedict which was taken off. It wasn't busy at all on a Sunday afternoon/brunch time. I can kind of see why. The food looks fantastic, but is a bit sub-par. My husband got the croissant with cream cheese and lox - he said it was just ok, he wouldn't get it again. My adult son who thinks almost everything is good said his pancakes were tough. He saved some caramel sauce from the French toast and he enjoyed that. Maybe they were overmixed? My burger was overall ok. I felt the French toast bites we got as an appetizer were the best. The blueberries on it were good the strawberries tasted a bit old. I ordered a hot coffee and it was cold and stale. I let the server know and she made a new pot. My husband got a soda. I think there were only 2 servers for the whole place. We asked for drink refills and they never came so we asked the other server. My friends and I came to this restaurant specifically to try their "Girl Dinner". We visited on a Wednesday, and they had half priced cocktails from 5-9. I got the southern peach sparkler, which was refreshing. We split an appetizer of fried pickles, which were delicious. I would get them again. For entrees, we all got "Girl Dinner". Girl dinner is fries and Caesar salad served in a large martini glass. I would have liked more Caesar salad and a bit less fries, it was very fries heavy. I thought I was gaming the system (and I was hungry for wings). I ordered 2 sets of the half priced (special) wings. How many could there possibly be in an order? It turns out, about 12! And they were super good at that! Not crispy as I thought I was ordering; the receipt showed beer brined I believe. The interior was very English pub-y and definitely has some character. Lamb burger was good. They have a good deal for Sunday where you can get a bottle of champagne for $10. Came here for the first time, the staff were really friendly. The restaurant itself has a cool, relax ambiance, I like the decorations. I ordered the medium cheddar burger with tomato, and added grilled mushrooms. The mushrooms were such a great touch and I'm so happy they were able to add them. It was a nice size burger and very flavorful, only thing I might be careful for next time, is that I asked for it medium and it came out more medium rare but I'm sure if i would have asked to put it back on the grill, they would have. So my friends and I stumbled across this place by accident. We were paying the parking meter and it was so cold, we just ran in there instead of walking to our initial destination. I wandered in looking for a good brunch and I saw they had an amazing brunch deal with $10 bottles of champagne with the purchase of an entrée. I walked in the establishment is beautiful. This is a cute little place! Although, it's more of a 3.5 in my opinion. The complimentary popcorn is delicious and I really enjoyed their espresso martinis. This time out brought us to the Brass Bunny, and initially we were drawn to them because from the outside looking in, it was a very modern, just overall cool place to hang out. I don't do cheese and honey - if you're serving me a jar of honey without Greek yogurt or tea, I don't even know what you expect me to do. But the grapes were a nice sweet contrast to the savoriness of the cheeses, even if they weren't really noteworthy.
