We booked a group site several weeks prior to arrival; when we arrived- we found several campers on the site(s) that we requested, confirmed, and booked (via phone). So, upon arrival it was escalated to staff (owners) - that others were on our sites... and we were told, "group sites are a first come first serve? So much for "Group Site" and thinking that's what you're going to get... Per the website it states - call and request for group sites and the sites requesting. It's okay - you can be confused as we were too. Also add to note, the website stated these are 50amp sites - they're NOT. Now, our group was broken up throughout the campground - the sites are 30amp with 3 plugs per box (our breaker popped in the first 20 minutes of being plugged in), and we're sharing a water hookup with other campers - which was conveniently 2 feet in front of my door. I'm completely disappointed with the staffs inability to accommodate our situation. At the end of the day - it was a holiday weekend, we paid and expected a group site with our friends and family, and now we're dispersed throughout the campground and we have neighbors who complained about the "noise" when in reality - they're in our circle that we booked - on the site we reserved individually. Online it says, "call to book for group sites". Meaning not first come, first serve; the staff doesn't want to correct the situation; that's our problem. Additional points - this isn't our first time coming to Pla-more, and this is a completely different experience than before - I don't know if our group of 5+ will try this again at Pla-more. Hopefully something turns around in our current situation.

They have a huge event center for your rallies/parties, with a kitchen too. A great dog park, and dog spa with a heated blow dryer. The bath house has ceramic tile, and is attached to a laundry area. They have cabins for rent that are like mini houses, with great amenities to include their own washer and dryer. They have some very cool buddy sites, where 2 spots can be rented together that share a gazebo complete with a grill and a table and chairs. All of the sites are very level concrete, 20' wide and at least 65' long, these sites are huge! All of this within a short drive of 2 lakes and in the middle of the RV manufacturing mecca. Definitely would recommend this RV Resort.

Sounded like a gocart track not a campground. . So much for peace and quiet . And no phone service and Internet sucks. Is crazy. Only hot spot is in the snack bar while you are in having a 10 dollar cheese burger. We won't be back. Sure the putt putt golf is free and the pools and the lake. But who can afford 80 dollars a day to rent a golf cart to drive around. .

We purchased 2 Dixie Sternwheeler tickets for $14 TOTAL on Sunday, July 7, 2024 just before the…read more8:00 p.m. trip. The young woman selling the tickets never indicated the Dixie would not be running that night. We learned from others that the Dixie was down, had only made the 2:00 p.m. Sunday trip, and needed repairs. This girl knew the Dixie was not running and sold us tickets for a ride she knew was not happening on Sunday. She told us to return the following day for a ride. On Monday we were told the Dixie was still not repaired just before the ride was to sail. A man was now selling tickets to people and not telling them the Dixie would not be moving either. When anyone objects they are told, "We don't give refunds." Then WHY are you selling tickets for trips that do not exist? We were told to return Tuesday. This time the young woman was selling tickets to customers and not telling them there would be no rides on Tuesday as the Dixie was still down. Frankly, this is fraud selling tickets to ride a sternwheeler that is not working and then refusing to refund consumers' money. We will not be returning to North Webster so our tickets are worthless. The young woman still wanted to sell me another set of tickets Tuesday night until I told her, "You know full-well that boat is not going anywhere." She muttered, "Oh, I forgot." Apparently, it is their job to sell tickets to anyone walking through the door while knowing the boat won't be running. Tell me what you would call this--a scam, fraud, theft? Do not purchase tickets until you see people walking onto the Dixie because you will be losing your money if the ship needs repairs, unless you happen to live in the immediate area of the Dixie. Refunds should be mandatory when the ship is broken and cannot be repaired for days. The sternwheeler was still not running on Wednesday, July 10 yet tickets were being sold to "Ride the Dixie" on that day too. Hmmmmm! I guess they think we are all "suckers" because they stick us with tickets and keep the money.

Definitely not how the website looks. I had asked for a site by the lake. I was told they didn't have any full hook ups by the lake. I said I would like one close to the lake then. I was asked if I'd been there before and said I hadn't so he said I will put you in 1A. Ok upon looking at the map I didn't even see a 1A site. I was asked what time we would arrive and said between 5-6pm. Was told they close at 5pm. I receive a call at 5:15pm asking what time I will arrive as they needed to close early. I said 5:45pm he said ok just go to my site. He said to just come in, go right and then at the fork in road go right. We arrive at 5:40pm and he's waiting at the door for us. Gives my husband a map and car tag and says your site is up against the house. We see 3 sites up against the road. We used the dump to turn to be able to back in. (Would have been helpful to hear to do this at check in) The site post is labeled 1/2. We were hoping it was the right site. We are in the site that has no real gravel pad. Hook ups are in different proximity to each other. The site was completely unlevel. We decide to go for a walk to check out the campground and find what looks like we are the only ones there for a couple of nights. Everyone else is there for a long time. The sites that are waterfront are all taken by full timers. The "mini golf" course was some ply boards with turf. The "playground" looked like it would fall apart if you touched it. The water from the hook ups had a VERY strong smell of copper. (It was not our trailer as we had been at a few other sites in the previous days on our trip.) When we went to leave we couldn't find the trash dumpsters anywhere. My husband went to the office and was told they are over there. He finally found them way out by the cornfield on the other side of the grounds. This could be a great place but it needs some work. The website is very misleading so just be careful for what you are looking for in your stay.

There are 2 playgrounds, and an obstacle course, that our visiting grandkids loved. The owners, Jim and Roberta, are loved by so many of us. They do a great job of keeping the campground a great place to stay. From their friendliness, to their creative playground additions. House comes with all the essentials, including sheets, pillows, soaps, towels, and kitchen, essentials, Tritoon boat rental is available at the house. Tritoon comes with two live Wells, an electric anchor, and various rod holders for fishing. It also has lifejackets, gas and floating raft. Grocery stores and restaurants located within 10 minutes of the house. Gas station, and boat launch located 1/8 of a mile from house.

My grouper was thin and small. Three of us ordered the slaw as a side; it was overdressed (drippy) and a very small serving. Friend with the chicken and me went away still hungry.
