The gym owner/main trainer was out of town on vacation, but took the time to email me back quickly and gave me a very generous weekly rate. I came early on my first day and met two guys in the gym. Both were welcoming and gave me a tour, even though neither were coaches. When I came back the next day, they even remembered my name! The gym equipment is up to date and in very good condition. The building is quite large, with fans and rolling doors to help with air flow. Each person has a section that is taped off to help with social distancing. It was nice not having to walk around to gather equipment! I had my own personal rower and weights within my taped off area. Coach Ryan was very welcoming and treated me like I had been going to the gym for years. I never felt like an outsider at this new gym. When I did get to meet Jon (owner), he gave me some tips on my squat that really helped my form. I was never singled out for doing modifications that fit my ability. I hope to make this my home gym if I ever move back to Omaha.

I have really enjoyed my experience here. You can rent a yoga mat for $2 and they had resistance bands we would use. Phones are not allowed in the studio and neither are shoes. The locker room is super clean, organized, and pretty. Tons of lockers are available and it has a bit of space. It just would get super cramped when the class I got out of and another got over as another class or two were about to start. I had never done a barre class before and I felt like it was easy to follow along with Erica! It would get hot in the room which helped me to get a real sweat going! Definitely an incredible workout and challenging. I would definitely consider trying the other classes Power Life offers and want to incorporate more of the movements I learned into my workout routine!

I tried all the other 9.99 a month gyms and even some 200.00 a month gyms. One thing was consistant, rude people, dirty, crowded etc. I kept just giving up because it was frankly terrible to go. I found this gym through a co worker and it sounds dumb but it changed my life. Anyone that has went through a major weight loss or battles with there weight knows that it is an emotional process. People stare at you, make faces and jokes right to your face. I have even had people take pictures of me when I was working out at other gyms, its honestly terrible and makes it hard to keep going. I started in small group classes here and learned the movements, was supported by everyone and never felt judged. Random members I didnt even know would come stop me to help with form or tell me they noticed a change in my body(tgey still do years later). I have lost over 150 lbs and do my own routine now but the one thing that has never changed is the group of people and support. If you are an adult serious about your fitness that appreciates a comfortable place to do your thing or maybe dont want to be surrounded by groups of teens not really working out but hoarding equiptment and doing video shoots of themselves try better bodies.
