I'm not a member at barre3 but I do class pass classes which let you try out different studios and I keep coming back to this location for their signature barre classes. All of the instructors are motivational and play great music. The blend of barre, strength, and cardio are well thought out and the facility is so clean and have thoughtful touches like hair ties and face wipes. Really easy to book and their communication is great. Staff is really welcoming to new members. I can't say enough positive things about this location!! read more

Wonderful total body, low-impact work out. Excellent instructors in a clean, supportive environment. I love how the class address warm up, stretch, strength, balance, breathing, mindfulness, and an encouraging way. The workout flies by! Loved my first barre class with Courtney! It was challenging but I also felt like I was getting a lot out of the class at the same time. Courtney made sure we worked hard and motivated me till the end. I just started using class pass and could tell a lot of people were regulars to this class but I felt welcomed and the staff was very professional in showing me around the place and making sure I was all set for the class. I've been going to barre3 Berwyn for a year now and I am obsessed!! First, it's such a welcoming environment. Everyone is friendly and non-intimidating. Next, the workout is fabulous! I have taken barre classes all over the area (plus California) and I love how B3 incorporates cardio into it. I can burn over 300 active calories (on my Apple Watch) depending on the instructor. Angela is my favorite!! For my workouts I like to mix it up (from bootcamp style to spin) and B3 is definitely one of my favorites. It's sculpts me in ways the other workouts have not. Hot damn! My thighs were shaking like crazy during class tonight and I could hardly stumble to my car afterwards. I probably looked like I came from Berwyn Tavern after a few beers rather than the studio! What a great one hour full body workout. I snatched up a Groupon deal for four classes at $39 and I can't wait to use the rest. I appreciate the class at 7 pm as it allows me to have "family time" and get my kids situated before I head out for "me time". Barre has become my favorite workouts and barre3 was top notch. I finally found a form of exercise that works for me! Barre3 combines yoga, pilates and ballet. I have been doing Barre3 since the Berwyn location opened 2 months ago and I'm very happy with the results so far. Every class is different, impossible to get bored and each week becomes more and more challenging. The best part? I look forward to each and every class. While I was looking for a place to get in shape, I also found a place I can't do without and many perks along with it-- strength, long lean muscles, better posture and more energy! It was super! The place is beautifully designed and super clean. The instructor was AOK. I have been hiking and thought my thighs were in great shape - but they were really burning during the work out, and what a core workout!! Great job. I love love LOVE Barre3 on the Main Line. I started a week ago and my body has already started to feel so much stronger and has more stability. My stamina is increasing with every class. All the teachers are so amazing and try to ensure personalized attention although it is a group class. I have never been to any fitness class before where the teachers cared to personally come to me and help me adjust my posture to derive the maximum benefits from the workout. The staff is really nice too and the studio is so elegant. I have had Cyndi, Ashley and Becca so far and they were all super sweet and so awesome! Really clean, the instructors push you and motivate you (which is a great plus for me) and I feel so encouraged to attend every class. Slow paced movements have slow, calm music and fast movements have music that wants to make you push yourself. Overall, I can not stop adoring the place and the staff and I know that I am going to be a regular here for a long long time. P.S There are so many added perks as well: Child care is available and there is a cute play area for children, making it super convenient for mothers to enjoy their workout sessions. There are lockers available if any personal storage is needed. There is an awesome collection of Barre3 apparel which are worth buying. The studio is a 3 minute walk from thee Berwyn Septa Station. Words cannot describe how wonderful barre3 Berwyn is. I have been going to classes for over a year and a half, and it is always the highlight of my week. I have had several instructors (all wonderful), and what I love most about barre3 is the consistent methodology to do what is comfortable / right for your body. This is not a "go until you fatigue" or a kill yourself workout. You are encouraged to listen to your body, modify as appropriate, and you aren't shamed for doing so. Today I went to my first barre3 class here and it was WONDERFUL!! When I walked in the studio was so clean and everyone was extremely welcoming!! Angela was the instructor and she was nothing short of Amazing!!! She was upbeat and energetic the whole time! Being that it was my first time doing barre her cues were great and easy to understand!
