It is a mix of Pilates, ballet, and yoga and while it looks easy, it's actually an excellent workout. The instructors I've had so far are very informative and welcoming and I love that in every class they walk you through moderations to help everyone get a great, safe workout. After the first class I attended, they sent me a survey which I filled out. Shortly after, the owner sent me a personal email to ask if she could answer any questions or help me learn how to target more muscles during a workout! Talk about great customer service! I feel like I matter here and I get a great workout so I will definitely be a regular here! You should definitely check it out!

You can't just cancel easily online like most modern memberships. It feels like customer service is an escape room with monthly billing attached. The entire system is designed to trap people into continuing payments. For a company designed around wellness, the cancelation experience creates unnecessary stress and a bad taste. People should NOT EVER join club pilates because canceling is exhausting! You could be literally dying and can't walk and they still wouldn't cancel your membership, they will just keep charging you. It's insane, They claim there's "nothing" they can do to work with you but I do know that's not true. They canceled an individual I know with NO PROBLEM, no questions asked they just canceled her membership so I don't understand why it's such an ordeal. I've also heard from plenty of other people after my experience how AWFUL Club Pilates actually is and why they all left Club Pilates. Of course I find this out after the fact that I joined and try to cancel. I will NEVER and DO NOT RECOMMEND Club Pilates for anyone. They are overpriced and the customer service is terrible!!!

For those who are not familiar with…read morePilates, it is a low-impact exercise that helps with strength, flexibility, and alignment, and even the smallest Pilates movements can have a BIG impact! Jeri Ann, the owner, is a very knowledgeable teacher with a fun and caring personality. She provides individual attention to each student, even in a group class. I leave class feeling like I just had a great workout even we do very small movements. Jeri Ann really understands how to communicate with her students. The studio is small and has a great energy. It's clean and comforting and very PURPLE, which I love. Mats and props are provided, so you don't have to worry about lugging around equipment. All of the equipment is cleaned at the end of class. Jeri Ann offers group classes and one-on-one sessions. I've only taken her group classes, but I know people who take private classes think she's wonderful. StraightUp has a really cool reformer apparatus for private sessions so you can get an even deeper workout that's even more gentle on the body. I'm excited about taking more classes at StraightUp and encourage everyone to take advantage of the first class for $10 special!

Neighboring city for years and not once did I have an issue with the state of cleanliness or the lack of knowledge from staff. Where do I begin. A few months ago I got locked inside the Hotworx bathroom while not one but TWO people were on staff. I called the front phone multiple times and no one bothered answering. I had to get a friend to call twice as well before someone answered and when they did they were reluctant to come check the restroom after he told them his friend was stuck inside. Nice ! Not to mention I spent 10 ish+ minutes banging on the door and jiggling the door saying hello hello? My other complaint is that this location is always filthy in the restrooms. It really doesn't matter what time of day you go. Staffed or not you will find dirty floors and pubes all over the shower floor. My third main complaint but surely not the final is that I messaged the Fayetteville location yesterday for a heads up on bringing a guest with me today. The message was hearted after I explained the time I booked two sessions, no message follow up. When I came in today I was last minute turned away because the staff was about to leave. This place is ridiculous for almost $70 a month.
