I'm currently without any health insurance and going through some flu-like symptoms. I love my PCP,…read morebut can't afford the trip until my new health insurance kicks in. After calling out from work, I looked around online and saw the minute clinic near me. They open up at 8:30 am and seem to close around 7-7:30 pm, with an hour closed for lunch (2 pm). Weekend hours are a bit shorter but I think they're open 7 days a week. Booked my appointment online, only had to wait about 10 minutes tops after arriving and checking in. After booking, you'll get texted/emailed a code, just type that in at the kiosk in the store and give them a few other pieces of info/sign crap, and you're good to go. It's located just off the pharmacy to the side, so you'll get to stare at the people waiting in the ridiculous pharmacy line while you wait! The provider (sadly I didn't get her name) was awesome. She did NOT order any unnecessary tests, especially knowing I was uninsured. She took the time to walk me over and get something OTC to help me out. I really appreciated that. I got my diagnosis without the ridiculous ER or walk-in clinic bill. In fact, minute clinic posts their prices online, so no big surprises if you're paying cash. I'd go here for any non-emergency if I couldn't see my PCP, or didn't have insurance. Heck, I'd still go back once insurance kicks in for simple stuff. I wish they had more of these and more providers like the one I saw today.

I arrived at 5pm and there were 3 other families in the waiting room. I was called back rather quickly to the intake nurse within 20 mins...that made me happy! Then she takes me back to my ER bed and I'd say by 6:30 they had given me an IV and taken blood samples. Now the wait begins. I was told by 7pm I'd be going for an ultrasound but that didn't happen because apparently they change shifts at 7pm....soooo 9:30pm comes around and I'm being wheeled down for the ultrasound. I will say the ultrasound tech was very kind and by 10pm I was back to the freezing ER room and told I need to wait to see the Dr to tell me my ultrasound results. It's now 11pm and still no Dr. I'll update this post once he comes and I'm released but I just don't think SIX hours in the ER is reasonable, for blood to be drawn and an ultrasound...I could be clueless though. Oh and I guess I'm naive but they don't give patients snacks/food after being in the icebox for SIX hours? This is insanity. UPDATE!! After asking the nurse to see the Dr he finally comes in at 11:30pm and apologizes for the wait and says that's normal for an ER. Waited another 20 mins to get my discharge papers and was free at last! UGH!

I was on holiday and unfortunately became sick, so convenience and efficiency mattered. The clinic itself was bright, clean, and well organized. There was a welcome station at the entrance with hand sanitizer and face masks, and check-in was handled through a digital system. I received text updates showing my place in the queue, which even allowed me to wait in my car if I wanted. Despite the clinic being busy, the total time from check-in to check-out was about 1 hour and 10 minutes, which felt very reasonable. The level of care and customer service was top notch. A medical assistant greeted me and brought me back, followed by a nurse who took my vitals and asked if I needed water or a blanket. While waiting for the doctor, two additional staff members stopped by just to check in and see if I needed anything, which really stood out. Dr. Miles was caring, efficient, and thorough, and got me on my way with a clear plan and medication. The only thing keeping this from a full five stars was a prescription mix-up that required me to use a paper copy instead of it being sent directly to the pharmacy. Thankfully, it was an easy fix. Overall, this was a very positive experience, especially when you are not feeling well and are far from home.

What's education level of these people? What background do they have it just hired because of a certificate whatever happened to personality why shouldn't worms and empathy come through instead of just hiring someone who wants a paycheck I have heard on some of the groups around here for families of children who have addiction mental health and every single person says the place to not call is the crisis center because if your day is bad, they will make it worse and they will make it hopeless I can truly support that I called tonight. Spoke to this young lady gruff nasty disrespectful when I tried to tell her something no no no no no I want to know what happened today and as soon as I said no, what happened I said you don't get to talk to anyone like this she kept snapping and barking with me to demand to tell her what happened to today and wouldn't let me tell her what happened yesterday and she kept raising her voice with me and I think to myself God help a person who walks in there, suffering man to help this person will push them off the ledge There can be no place in mental health to ever have someone like this to interact with family members or for the patient who suffering mental mental health crisis. She's barbaric she's rude. She has no empathy whatsoever she's cold. She's unprofessional and I could go on and on and on, but I'm second that this facility would need to read this review to have noticed that this young lady should not be in this job what is wrong with making it a priority to hire people who have built-in skills of being empathetic of being present or being understanding or compassionate she has none of those qualities I ended up hanging up the phone on her. I couldn't take it anymore. Not tomorrow I'm going to go and post on all the different groups. Do not call the Cherry Hill crisis center and that's a sad thing because you know something look at how many vulnerable families you have in this county that now will not be calling this number where else to return For Help but at this point, not calling them is better than the option of calling them because you leave their hopeless de humiliate you you're so grossly disrespectful. I have never met more mean spirited people than I have in this facility. The only person I ever talked to there that was respectful. His name was Ted other than that I do not know where they get these people from to work in the Christ center. I see on my groups. People would say the worst mistake I made. I took my daughter to the crisis center after 5 my daughter wanted to leave and I hear over and over or they're rude cold, and insensitive. They have a nasty attitude to talk to you. no one smiles, no one songs empathetic it's an absolute fact, the sooner the shutter spray song I think meant healthcare would improve People are set with expectations and if the coldest place they'll get some support, don't ever think of getting it you will never get it never it's just not there and whoever's in leadership. The Bee these people reflect the standards that leadership sets for the rest of them because they must feel bold to be as rude and nasty and compassionate as they are. I wonder how many people called this place and ended up committing suicide. I would not be surprised at the numbers are up there. This is a shame it's a travesty. It's cruel just creates Mental Health Way beyond anyone calling there What would make you have a nasty personality and tell people to shut up and cut them off to talk and then you're supposed to take your loved ones there expecting that you're going to get mental health support you have to be out of your mind I'd rather take them to veterinarian into this place and I'm going to make this louder and louder and wider and wider for people to understand sometime they need to demand that this place be shut down or on the new management the final word it is a horrific place most insensitive you can call an animal shelter and you get people, a lot more sensitive than these people are and it's not just a One occasionally dear systemically consistently, rude, and nasty send these people are What is savagely missing in this place? Is that family member for calling in there are hurting for a loved one to mental illness but these barbarians treat you like you've committed a crime talk. Don't you shut you off when I think back of this woman today she deserved every insult that crossed my mind, but I was not going to come to her lower level no no no no no no what. Where does she get the right to talk to anyone like that at all and not have basic your basic 2.3 brain cells to understand family calling in there. Don't need to be Brad and put down an insulted and talk to like discard the children not family members of someone suffering Mental Health
