Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.

When I met Derek at the house, I was early and he was already there doing the exterior inspections. I was a little worried that he was not looking at the house as closely as I was but when I received my report I realized I was wrong. It was very detailed and had more things on it than I noticed. I did have to text him with 2 things I found on a 2nd walk through that he did not have in his report. We discussed the items and they were added. The deal on the house fell through but I did use Derek again 2 weeks later on a 2nd house we found. That one did go through. His promise to do a recheck once items in the Right to Remedy report are said to be done at no additional cost was also a big selling point. Derek has answered questions that I emailed him both about the inspection and not about the inspection very quickly. Derek was quick on getting the report to me and my realtor and he was also very nice and easy to deal with. I would use him again if needed.

While I do think Brian caught a lot of things, was very helpful explaining things there, and took a lot of pictures and videos - he missed a few big things. My first day with the keys I realized the kitchen counter was not at all attached to the kitchen counter and there was a leak in the pipes underneath the kitchen sink. After living there for two days the handle to the shower faucet broke off completely - this might not have been something he could've caught but I feel like as an inspector you would typically have a better eye than the average person for things like that. Although I did think that Brian was good at explaining everything, I was just a bit disappointed to find these things immediately.

He took the time to carefully evaluate every aspect of the property and explained his findings in a clear, easy-to-understand way. I felt confident understanding the condition of my new home. I believe WIN is trustworthy home inspection company, and they made a stressful process feel smooth and reassuring.

The home we purchased needed a new roof and also had a ventilation fan to exhaust air. When we hired Glenn, he recommended to have Ridge vents installed. He quotes 4 sheets of plywood incase of any soft spots or damage area's that may need replaced. We asked to have the fan removed "covered over" with the supplied plywood, which he assured us that would be no problem. He promised 10 Year Workmanship warranty. My home has been extremely cold since he installed the roof which was installed late 2024. On the day of installation, his supplier ABC did not show up at the time he told us. When it did show up, one of his workers who was from Guatemala, had an accident occur on my roof. On top of the accident, one of the men's wife with a newborn baby, was in my backyard nursing the baby. They consistently had to use my restroom. In addition to the roof I added gutter guards which Glenn himself installed. Glenn showed up twice to my home. The start date of the install, and the final day to collect his check. When they were done I went up to check my gutter guards which were a premium gutter-guards and noticed how sloppy they were installed. He blamed my gutters for why they looked the way they did. Never the less as a good gesture, he promised he would come back and install gutter clips as he said ice may strain the front stretch of my gutters above my garage. This never happened. His workers left a fullsheet of plywood and extra shingles, which they said they would come back for. They are still there. He has never once kept his word. He consistently will say he will arrive on a date and never shows up. In August 2025, I noticed that the box fan casing, which was supposed to be removed, was still there. Again, he promised a date and again never showed. This past week Wednesday Feb 25th ,2026 I had to go into my attic to install fiber lines for my home network, and to my surprise, the box vent was never covered left completely opened to the elements! He never removed the box vent which caused major frustration ; however I reached out to him yet again! Providing photo evidence of this. The insulation of my attic is wet. From 2024-2026 snow, rain, roofing debris, insects, birds, squirrels were able to nest in my attic. He responded to my text this past Wednesday February 25th, 2026. He would come either Friday February 27th or Monday March 2nd. Guess what! Nothing. He ignored my text today on when we can expect him. I have all of the proof. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!
