Dr. P is a great guy who really cares about his patients. He helped me throughout my second pregnancy and delivery. His office is sometimes a very long wait time but it's because he spends time with each patient. Ive seen women yell and complain in the office and honestly you don't know if there is a woman inside a room dealing with a complicated pregnancy, a miscarriage, or another health issue. People need to get a grip. The wait is worth it. Bring a book for goodness sake! That being said Dr. P is very sweet, dedicated, and helpful. He knows his stuff and made me feel very comfortable during my pregnancy. And he was great during delivery. Highly recommend his office! read more

I didn't go to him for my OBGYN. I have a great one that I've been going for years now. I went to Good Samaritan, the hospital he's associated with. I had to go there, because after telling my fertility specialist I was in a huge amount of pain, whereas I have a high pain tolerance. I was crying at the time I was talking to my specialist. She told me to go to the nearest ER, which was Good Samaritan. I get there and am waiting in the OBGYN room that they have and he comes in with no expression on asking what's going on. Still having tears in my eyes, i tell him that I'm in a huge amount of pain and my specialist told me that there's a good chance it's an ectopic pregnancy. He starts scoffing at me and says he doesn't know why I didn't go to the hospital my doctor is associate with. I was so surprised he acted this way towards any patient going through whatever they are going through. He tells me to lay down and starts checking on my lower stomach. When he does this, my eyes roll into the back of my head because the pressure he was putting was unbearable. He then turns around and says that he doesn't think it's an ectopic and that I would be in more pain than I'm showing. Everyone has different pain levels, and like I said before mine is high. For me to turn around and be hysterically in pain is highly uncommon for me. He then puts me in one of the 'rooms' in the ER overnight. I don't ever see him again after. I got to Good Samaritan around 7 pm on a Friday night, and didn't leave until 4-5 pm the next day. Before I left, I was given a dose methotrexate to see if my ectopic would go down I go back a second night, which was a Wednesday. I see Dr Pillitteri yet again. He comes to me with zero emotions and tells me to stay overnight again. I had some tests done. Like the first night, I only saw him the once at the beginning of the night and didn't see him afterwards. I then had to go back the Friday after the second overnight stay. I had some tests done when I got there. One of the assistant OB's came to me and said my ectopic didn't go down and that I would possibly have emergency surgery. After seeing my ectopic didn't go down like they hoped, I had to go in to get surgery. I am highly upset that Dr Pillitteri didn't take me seriously and thought I should have been in more pain that I actually was in. After seeing there was barely any positivity on here about him makes me shake my head. In my eyes this would all have been avoided for me if he actually was serious and wasn't so emotionless. read more

I hate that I even have to give this place a single star. This may be a long review, but worth the read if you're interested in becoming a new patient at this office. I'll start off by saying this office was recommended to me by a trusted co-worker who said that she's had nothing but good experiences with the providers within the office. Firstly, I had an appointment scheduled for 12pm, however I wasn't even taken into the back room for my vitals until 12:45pm. I initially scheduled the appointment due to hormonal issues. I expressed by concerns to Eileen and she had me do blood work during that appointment. Prior to having my blood drawn, Eileen stated that based on my results, I may be prescribed a series of medications. Great, no problem. After my blood work I go to the front desk and the receptionist told me she's sending my prescriptions to a 'specialty pharmacy' and she will call the pharmacy and then the pharmacy will call me. I didn't think much of it and maybe Eileen decided after the fact that maybe I do need medications. Again, no problem at all. The receptionist told me that the pharmacy will contact me when the prescriptions are ready. A week and a half goes by and I don't get a call from the office nor the pharmacy. So I decide to call and ask. After being transferred three times and repeating myself, I am hung up on. I then call a day later and ask for at least the results from my blood work. I was told, "you're fine, see an endocrinologist if you're still experiencing hormonal issues." ....oh? A few weeks later, I then receive a $779.52 bill from Quest Diagnostics from the date of my appointment. I then decide to check the member portal for my insurance. 1. It says I was diagnosed with an ENDOCRINE DISRODER. If you refer back a few sentences, they literally told me everything was fine and "to see an endocrinologist IF, IF, I am still having the same issues. Excuse me? Endocrine disorder? That could be a dozen different things. On the portal I also see that the office sent one single claim to my insurance, the cheapest claim might I add, out of the seven total. I try calling the office several times, but a heads up, the insurance employees apparently don't start their work day until "sometime around 4:30, we're not sure, just call sometime around there." Thanks, that's helpful. I then call my insurance seeming that they're much easier to reach than that office. I speak with a representative and am told that the claims were never sent from the office to my insurance. Remember the Quest thing I mentioned? Yeah on the statement it shows NO INSURANCE INFORMATION PROVIDED. Mind you, I was A NEW PATIENT. I GAVE THEM MY INSURANCE BEFORE I EVEN SAW THE DR. They managed to send a $70 claim, but not the rest? So I manage to eventually get in contact with someone from insurance, she asked for me to email some things and said she will call Quest and inquire. I urged for her to call me back after speaking to Quest. She assured me she would. This was May 6. It is now May 20 and I have no recieved a phone call back. I've tried calling and emailing but you guessed it, nothing. I decided to reach out to Quest myself and was able to resolve the problem in no more than 10 minutes. Unfortunately I didn't think to do this sooner as I was told it was under control. Also, I have Medicaid so in the event my MCO did not want to cover the cost, Medicaid would be responsible and MEDICAID RECIPIENTS ARE NOT LEGALLY ABLE TO BE BILLED OR SENT TO CLAIMS!!!!! Keep in mind, my first appointment (and the last) was March 29, 2022. It is now May 20, 2022 and this has finally been resolved, and absolutely no thanks to this office whatsoever. Long story short, I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS OFFICE. read more

Dr. Pilliteri is the best! This is my first pregnancy and he always is very thorough and giving me information about the baby that I wouldn't even have thought to ask. I like the fact that he is the only delivering doctor, which means he cares. He wouldn't just hire anyone. His team is very thorough, and helpful. Monique and Eileen too! I wouldn't go anywhere else! I usually deal with dr Eileen pillitari however when having my daughter I dealt with dr mark pillitari. He has delivered my daughter my sisters daughter and twins and my baby sisters daughter. Switching to him I wasn't comfortable but he made sure I became very comfortable. My entire family goes by only to the ob-gyn office but also the pediatric office. read more

Dr. Pill is hands-down an incredible doctor and surgeon. After going through multiple doctors and specialists for YEARS, Dr. Pill was the first and only person to not only diagnose me, but create a successful plan for pregnancy. He is accommodating, professional, and just has this innate ability to make you feel calm and well taken care of. Sure, sometimes there can be a wait, but for me, incredible doctors are WORTH travel and/or wait times. You can tell a lot about any leader by their team, and his colleagues - both in his office, and at Good Sam - seem to genuinely admire him. After the birth of my son, I almost could not mention his name without becoming emotional over how well he had taken care of me and my family before, during, and after pregnancy. Saying I highly recommend Dr. Pill is an understatement, I truly think he is amazing and exemplary of what every doctor should be! read more

I've been with Dr. Pillitteri for about 13 years now. He is beyond amazing. He's operated on me several times for my endometriosis, helped me through infertility and then delivered my two healthy, beautiful baby boys. Dr. Pilliteri goes above and beyond for his patients. He truly is a compassionate doctor. I've referred several of my friends of him (they are also very happy). Yes, you may wait a little longer than you'd like but it's WORTH IT for excellent care! The wait is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe they shouldn't schedule so many patients at the same time. I went in to see Eileen. Called ahead of my scheduled apt to make sure the wait wasn't bad --because it always is--and they said there was no wait for Eileen. So I was there in 5 min. The girls in the back kept me waiting for 1.5 hours. The front desk women knew I was there for Eileen. The girl who took blood pressure knew I was there for Eileen. And yet they forgot and called In many people --who came in after me to see Eileen. I am so sick of waiting that long for a doctor. Learn how to schedule! This is isnt the first time I have had to wait that long here. I am just fed up and wrote a review. The wait is anywheres from 1.5 hours on. Usually 2 hours. the waiting room is filled with other patients waiting. its frustrating. The wait time on the phone to even make an apt takes a while. What is going on in this office?! I went to this doctor because it was highly recommended to me. Dr. Mark was really nice, liked him a lot. Unfortunately the staff and Dr. Eileen M. Pillitteri were very rude and disrespectful. I was there for a preventative visit only with Dr. Mark. They billed my insurance for an illness and not a preventative. When i called telling them that they bill my insurance incorrect they were so rude. I asked to speak to the doctor they put Dr. Eileen M. Pillitteri on the phone. This Dr. Eileen M. Pillitteri was incredibly rude to me, telling me that i can not talk to the doctor and that they bill my insurance correct, that she was the highest person i can talk to about this problem. Telling me that I was over reacting for this bill. Bottom line they bill my insurance incorrect and refuse to help me now im stuck with a bill when my preventative is cover at 100%.. NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. WORST PLACE EVER!! read more

If I could've given this OBGYN a 0/10, I would have! This doctor was recommended to me by a close family friend. They spoke about how they had wonderful experiences with the female doctor, who appears to have more of the gynecological appointments. They were in fact correct, she was extremely nice and handled everything professionally. My situation was a little bit different. The first appointment I had there, I dealt with the female doctor and found out that I must have been pregnant and had a miscarriage. She was kind and supportive but I had to deal with Dr. Pillitteri for the next appointment because he is the obstetrician. He was very cold and not sympathetic at all. I tried asking him questions about what happened and what the next step is and he seemed unwilling and that I was bothersome for asking those questions. Dr. Pillitteri then advised that I would need a D&C, this being my first pregnancy, I was unfamiliar with the terminology and what that meant. His response to my question made me feel unintelligent and he then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go that same day to the hospital get the procedure done at 7pm and that I would need to have the next day off of work, mind you this was a Monday and I had work the next day. I advised that I was unable to do it that day but I could do it some other time during the week, I just need to advise my employer. Dr. Pillitteri was unwilling to work with me on the schedule and just advised me to go in that Sunday to the hospital and go to the Emergency Room and tell them I had a miscarriage (my boyfriend and I both looked at each other with confusion because the doctor pretty much told me to lie). Sunday comes and I call the doctor because he advised it would be done earlier but when I called, he advised that the procedure wouldn't be done until 7pm. Now we are at the hospital and I've had to lie to pretty much all the employees, until I couldn't anymore. I advised what Dr. Pillitteri told me to do and they all thought it was pretty strange because the procedure had already been requested in their system and I wasn't bleeding or anything. I was SO uncomfortable because I couldn't believe my doctor put me in this position to lie all because he was unwilling to schedule during the week at the normal facility this procedure is done at. He wasn't even on time and wasn't dressed when I was in the pre-op room, it looks like he was running late and had just got back from visiting his daughter (which is why he told me to come in at 7pm on Sunday instead of early like we initially spoke about). I was asking questions about how the bill is going to show up because I am still on my dad's insurance and how he responded, not what he answered but the tone in which he delivered his answer, really made me feel stupid. The procedure went well, I recovered well, but my overall experience was horrendous. Because this doctor made me go to the hospital and was unwilling to reschedule the procedure with me, I am now dealing with TONS of hospital bills!!! OVERALL, I never would have thought that a doctor who does this for a living would make a patient feel this way... Especially after losing a baby. He wasn't understanding or sympathetic, which you would've thought considering I lost a child that he would've been more of. He was unwilling to work with me about the schedule and because of that I am dealing with so many hospital bills and trying to get over this entire thing emotionally. This has been a very hard experience and I would NEVER want another individual to go through this, never. I am not only dealing with the physical aftermath and all the financials that I owe but I am also dealing with the emotional side of this. read more

I went to this office for the first time because my friend recommended the doctor. 1.) Another doctor of mine had accidentally booked an appt for 30 min earlier than the appt I had with Pillitteri, when I called Pillitteri's office to see if I can come in a little later I was told I could not since my appointment was at 5 they could not do any later. I said ok no problem and cancelled the appt made accidentally by my other doctor since they couldn't accommodate me, which I was fine with....until you see number 3. 2.) There are no signs on this building to indicate which is the entrance, then when you get in the building there's stairs everywhere again no sign as to where the actual office is, as someone who suffers from anxiety, this alone made me want to run back into my car and leave, since I had no clue where to go and not a living soul in sight from the entrance. 3.) Remember my appt was at 5? Well at 6:15 I was still waiting to be seen, the waiting room was packed with people who had been waiting hours, and when I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be she said I was next.....they took 3 other people who came in after me after I was told that. 4.) At 6:50, I was already in full blow anxiety attack mode, I went up to the front desk and told them to destroy any paperwork I had filled out as a new patient, because after looking up other reviews, and speaking to other patients in the waiting room, apparently hours long wait is typical with this doctor, which if you go back to #1, would've been nice to know because I would've just strolled in late and made the first appointment with the other doctor 5.) There was a girl in the office, literally sneezing, coughing, and sniffling everywhere....she told the front desk she was sick and asked if she sat in her car if they could call her in when it was her time and they said no....mind you there were pregnant women in the waiting room as the doctor is a OBGYN, so what logical person would have a sick patient in the waiting room with pregnant women for HOURS??? Couldn't put the extra 2 second effort to make the call?? 6.) As an accountant, during tax season, leaving work early to then spend 2 plus hours waiting for a doctor who may take 10 minutes to see me is not acceptable, if I kept a client waiting that long I would be fired, and my time is worth too much to be sitting around doing nothing. Don't book that many patients in a day if you can't see them all in a timely fashion. read more

I have been going to Dr. Pillitteri for over 3 years now and I am more than pleased with his practice. Yes the wait is ALWAYS long, but if you see that patients will actually sit there and wait for 2+hours in the waiting room, it's because they like the doctor and are willing to wait that long to see him. I have the same long wait consistently at my Family doctor as well. Dr. Pillitteri is compassionate and very knowledgeable. I feel that he cares deeply for his patients and he is excellent at developing personal and meaningful relationships. Not only do I feel this way but in conversations with other loyal patients the same has been said. The staff is kind and once you are a patient there I feel that they are considerate to each patient and their needs. You will have to be patient with the wait time. Just bring a snack and catch up on a good book. There is a reason that good doctors have a packed waiting room! read more
