Never had any issues with this location. They're relatively quick with the drive thru. In-person is a little slower. Pharmacy techs are expedient with getting you taken care of. CVS as a company isn't the best, but I'm forced to use them due to our insurance. read more

I left CVS a while ago but now my insurance is making me use them. And of course, when I go to pick up my Rx at 5:30 (close @6) the tech told me they couldn't fill it. I ask to speak to the lead pharmacy tech and you could tell she did NOT want to "deal with me". She had major attitude and started at me being very short and curt. She told they were about to close and it would take 25 minutes to fill it. I said ok I'll wait, then after typing on the computer for a bit told me to come back the next day at 9. I told her that I live 30 minutes out in the country area and it is hard to come and go like that, could she please have good customer service and fill the Rx. She said no. I absolutely despise CVS. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PHARMACY! I am a medical professional and I am telling you do not ever use this pharmacy!!! When I was on a very expensive medication they would automatically not fill it due to the copay just assuming I wouldn't pick it up-causing me to go without it for weeks At a time. my most recent encounter was me being in pain for three days because they wouldn't give me my steroid pack that requires nothing more than a sticker on a box I was assured my meds would be ready each time 6 trips over a 3 day time period and me breaking down in tears in the drive through later they finally decided to do their jobs and give me my meds. Unfortunately this is the closest drug store to me. Absolutely the worst customer service. I've been waited on by pharmacy tech Magdalie several times and she either hates her job, her life or both. She is rude, unfriendly and condescending in her tone. Definitely does not need to be in a customer facing job. The pharmacy is always busy and short staffed. One person checking people out while there's a line of people down the aisle. Apparently nothing gets addressed by leadership bc all of the reviews are about this and nothing seems to change. read more

Been in line for pharmacy 45 minutes now. I'm so angry I'll try and write this as civil as I can. Picking (trying) up my mother in laws prescription, they told her it would be ready by 1pm today. We decide to call cause this CVs has screwed us over before , and the lady on the phone says "it's not ready yet" we'll when we get to the window we're not moving til we get the script. This location always has an excuse. Today she said their down to 1 register. And having to share it with inside (which was 18 people deep when I ran in). NOW WRRE AT WINDOW AND THEY CAN ONLY TAKE CASH!!!!!! This location is awful and an absolute joke of a pharmacy. I'm calling corporate tomorrow. read more

I'd never thought I'd leave a review for a pharmacy. But man this pharmacy needs a lot of help. I understand things get busy, products get out of stock and sometimes you just run behind. But this happens almost every single time I come here. They said my prescription would be ready by 2 PM. I arrived shortly after and they said it's still not ready and it needs 30 more minutes. I did not get notified or anything. No big deal but if I was in a rush, that would be different. Also, the employees do not know how to communicate and acknowledge patients at all. Not friendly at all. I switched here because it was closer but at this point I'm gonna switch somewhere else and rather drive a little further. Don't recommend unfortunately. read more

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and got RSV from my toddler. It turned into a severe sinus infection and double ear infection. My doctor called in a prescription for me and left it on the voicemail before opening on Sunday. I had my husband wait until 11:45 AM to go pick it up so that they would have time to get it ready. When he got there, they "didn't have a prescription" for me. I told him she left the voicemail before opening and the lady said "oh yeah, we do have a lot of voicemails". Um.... Why were the voicemails not checked when you opened?! Anyway. He then waited almost an hour for them to get it ready. Very inconvenient. read more

The worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I dealt with someone named Stacy or Tracy, a pharmacy tech. Extremely rude and VERY defensive before I could even explain a situation to her. Will never go here again. I should have believed all the horrible reviews I had read online and heard from other people but wanted the convenience if the location. Big mistake. my doctor called in a prescription a week ago and I have yet to get my medicine. I belong to their extra care plus, which was supposed to include having her medicine mailed by United States Postal Service. Evidently that's not a thing anymore. So they refused to mail me my medicine that my doctor prescribed a week ago. It makes no difference to them that I am handicap. Do not drive. Do not have a car cannot walk. I don't know if I were the pharmacist of the manager of that store. I'd probably mail that medicine if I had to take the money out of my own pocket because it probably cost about four bucks . Do not ever use CVS pharmacy. They are not helpful the store at 1550 Stacy Road in Allen Texas has their phones turned off. Another store down the street from them told me that their phones were off you can never talk to a person you can only leave a message on their answering machine. I left my message every day Monday through Sunday and still no answer again please do not bother with Cvs. You will be so sorry. They are rude and no help whatsoever. read more

If you call ahead to make sure your prescription is ready for pick, they lie and tell you yes, but when you arrive they say it'll be ready in 30-60 minutes. I have filed a complaint with the state board. I can't tell you how many times I have been told my prescription was ready for pick up, only to go there and find out it's not even been prepared. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to, hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Several times my prescriptions have been messed up or not ready on time. But this last visit was the worst ever, and will be the last time I ever set foot in that store again. It's a long story, but here's the short version: A couple days ago, I went to the drive thru window to pick up my prescriptions. The total came to almost $200, and the lady (who apparently is the only nice person who works here) felt bad for me, and said she was going to get the pharmacist to apply some discount codes to my order to get that total way down, if I could just wait 15 minutes. I thanked her for her kindness, but said I was on the way to work, and could I just pick them up the next day? She said you bet, no problem. So I leave, and come back the next day. Major mistake, apparently. This time someone different is at the window, and she knew nothing about the discount codes. They had not been applied to my order, and there was nothing she could do about it, she said. She then starts checking me out, and I notice one prescription is missing. I point this out, and without skipping a beat she says, ya that one isn't ready. It'd be another 30 minutes. Um...weren't you going to tell me that?!? So I'm upset by this point, and going to be late for work, so I go into the store to talk to the manager. I tell him the story, and he goes back to the pharmacy to address it. I talk to the cashier for a bit, then saunter back to the pharmacy, just in time to hear one of the pharmacy employees basically telling the manager there was "no way" to verify whether what I was saying was true or not. So I get involved again, and the lady (Joann was her name) basically went off on me, practically yelling. Major attitude. The manager stepped in the middle of us literally, and then Joann proceeded to throw me death stares over his shoulder. And then deny that she did so when I pointed this out to the manager. I was livid angry. And to top it all off, I find out a little later that the lady who was standing like 5 feet away, with her back to the whole incident, was the head of the pharmacy. Apparently she couldn't be bothered to investigate why one of her employees was chewing out a customer! Oh and the best part...the manager finally calms me down by telling me the discount codes have been applied to my order, and he rings me up. I leave, now majorly late for work and with my blood pressure sky high...only to notice later on the receipt that no discount codes were applied. So I was misled by an employee and the manager himself, and chewed out by another employee, all within feet of the head pharmacist. That pretty much sums up this operation. Totally incompetent. Our local pharmacy sold out to CVS and my prescription price tripled from $33 to $90. When I asked the people at CVS how in the world are they charging triple they told me the local pharmacy got better pricing on drugs!!!!!! I laughed and said that a single local pharmacy gets medications for 1/3 the price that a national chain pays, she didn't respond. Also I called the CVS yesterday to find out if my prescription would be ready today or tomorrow, I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. When I arrived at CVS I was told I was a day early and to come back this morning. I went to get my prescription at 1:20 pm and when I got there it wasn't ready. I will never step foot in any CVS again, why people shop at these large chains are beyond me. Look at the pics and see what CVS charges compared to other local pharmacies. CVS is highest at almost $90 and the lowest price for the same medication is $26. This is the price for generic meds not name brand. read more

Again I went to CVS and Rachael was really rude. She does not know what she is doing and told me that Caremark was declining because there was a generic of a medication that there is no genetic for. Another woman that has been there for a long time came over and told her that she did it wrong after Rachael had been so rude. They need to get rid of all the new rude people they have hired there. I took my son in for his flu shot. There is a sign on the door that says walk ins are welcome. It also says on their website, walk ins are welcome. I waited in a long line to get to the counter and the clerk seemed put out because they were so busy. He made the comment that normally they are by appointment only. Which, I told him what the door says and what it says online. He said normally it's no problem but it's covid that's making them busy now. Needless to say, he said they could see my son but it would be a long wait. I took my insurance card back and left. If you don't want people walking in for shots with no appointments then take your dang sign off the door. Customer service here at this location is worthless. read more

Just started to use this CVS Royse City. It's fairly new here. Big competition with Walmart right across the street. I have used the Pharmacy twice with very good results. I find ALL pharmacies overtly BUSY and they always take take hours to fill a prescription. This one is no different. Prices seem higher on everything. The staff seem nice and personable.
