Cheapest gas prices from the Pacific ocean coast to the mountains of Yosemite, in the central area of California. We always pit stop here to fill up the car, clean up ourselves, let the dog out and so forth, so on. Lots of variety on the cheap fast food circuit: Dairy Queen, Subway, Dennys, pizza...etcetera. This Pilot gets an extra star because of the large array of hot food offered. They had hot meatloaf with mash and gravy, several pizzas, a Subway, a Denny's, and a Cinnabon. The customer service was good but all the truckers were awesome. Started conversations with several people and they were all very cool and down to earth. Of course I wasn't happy to realize my bathroom stall didn't have any toilet paper and the soda machine didn't have carbonation. But it was super busy and all of the staff were doing their jobs. My family use to stop here to either fill up our vehicles or for the food inside, it was a nice clean place until the transient population took over. We just don't feel safe. Nothing like filling up your car and have someone approach your family or come up behind you. Its best to fill up further down the road. read more

Worst service I've ever had at a subway, and I eat subways 2 to 6 times a week. The employees there are trained to be stingy. I had to repeat my order 4 times. Bread was stale. Spent $16 on 2 sandwiches and both were crap, even tho they were custom made for me. read more

A easy place to stop and get some petrol. The pumps are automated so I can use my atm card right there. I spent the entire time washing my windscreen so I could actually see through it. But it was bug time so I have a new collection in a short distance. Easy access and clean to boot! read more

If this place doesn't have what your looking for on your road trip, you must be looking for something pretty special!! Great place to stop... Its right off the freeway, easy to get to. Its always clean and tidy!! The even have a self check out!! The gas is always lower than other place off the 99. However this is not a place for a quick stop!!!! The lines are long for gas and people always seem to take forever to pump their gas and get out of the way for the next customer. I was waiting behind another customer to pump gas. I waited for 5 minutes and they were still in the store....... I moved to another pump that was open and by the time I was done pumping my gas them fuckers we still in the store. Some people are just fucking assholes!!! This is a great place, but be prepared for a 20 to 30 minute stop!!!!!! read more

I've been stopping here since the early 2000s because of the inexpensive gas, but on my last stop, the overflow shutoff safety valve failed. Since I was cleaning the windows on the far side of the car, I didn't initially realize that the gushing sound was coming from the pump I was using and about 5 gallons of gas spewed onto the ground before I was able to manually stop the gas flow. While the clean-up person was fairly quick in arriving, my credit card was still overcharged approximately $20 for gas that this Pilot station's faulty equipment wasted. Neither the clerk nor the night manager seemed to understand why I might be upset about being overcharged due to their equipment's failure. Questions regarding company policy regarding reimbursement were met with shrugs. Saving $.05 to $.10 per gallon fuelling up at this station isn't worth it, after factoring in the likelihood of another potential spill. I doubt I'll stop here again. read more

This place is a ripoff. Stopped there to fill my propane tank, price posted at the propane tank was $3.34. When I went in to pay I was charged $3.44. When I told them it was posted different, they didn't care, I told them it was false advertising and they need to change the sign. I went back a couple weeks later and noticed the sign was still showing the lower price. read more

This place makes me wish I were a Trucker by trade. They have overnight parking for big rigs/semis. A place to wash your big rigs. Showers and laundry facilities for truckers. I'm always awed when I stop here for their cheap gas and see all the Big Rigs & Semis all lined up in a row. What a wonderful sight. And music to my ears if I get treated with a couple of them blowing their horns. It's located right off of 99S, so it's very convenient to get off/on freeway. Then I walk inside the store and it's got almost anything you want. All types of coffees, hot/cold snacks, and even a Subway (ewww!!!). Everything is at great prices too. Oh and a Dairy queen next to Subway (ewwwww again!) Clean bathrooms and a one stop shop for Truckers. I love looking at their aisles and hearing "Shower #1 is available now" over their loud speakers. Truckers can buy clothes, tooth brushes & essentials that they forgot to pack for the long run. There's even a large display case filled with beautiful crystal figurines, I guess as gifts for loved ones when they return home. read more

On a road trip heading home and stopped to get gas. Didn't expect the bathrooms to be as clean as they were which is a plus. Wide variety of food and snacks to choose from. This will definitely be a place I recommend to stop at, next time around. read more

Fuel prices are very reasonable, place is really busy though and you have to be quick to slip into an empty space on the fuel island before someone else cuts in front of you and swoops in that spot. Fuel pumps are hard to read, seems that vandals are constantly scratching graffiti into the displays. Panhandlers are there most everyday I buy fuel, with some sort of story about needing a few dollars for gas so they can get home. I did put a gallon of fuel in a can for a guy that said he was trying to get home, I felt he might have been legit, till he approached me three days later with the same story and gas can. I laughed, yeah buddy you got me good, but not again. I hate that the store went to self check out, some items don't scan very well and sale items often show full price. Really! does this store not make enough money to pay people to be cashiers. I am writing on behalf of my daughter. She applied at Subway & during the interview she told both Leticia & the Subway manager she was going to be attending Fresno State to be a registered nurse. They told her they would work around her schedule. She was told by the manager she would be on the 11:00 pm to 7:00 am shift , but the schedule wasn't made yet. This was towards the end of June.. She was called on 07/08/12 to be at work at 9:00 am the next day. She told them she had started school & that she couldn't miss, but she could still come in as previously discussed. She was told that they would have to let her go then.This was after she had already bought her uniform pants and her shoes with money she had saved up. When she told me she was very upset. She said it wasn't fair. I am very proud of her for not dropping out of her class. She knows how important education is. This job was only to help her pay for gas to to to school.
