This Pilot is just off if Interstate 75. The inside has the usual convenience store items, as well as having a Wendy's if you want something a bit more substantial. They also had a Cinnabon, but it was closed when I was there. The staff was friendly enough and it was a convenient on and off of the interstate to fill up my vehicle. The inside, like many other truck stops also had various stuff for sale. Everything from things for a truck to bumper stickers to children's toys. All in all,a cool enough ambiance to walk around. For tractor trailers, there was a scale available. All in all, this was an overall decent experience. read more

Stopped for gas and decided to get food for the road. I opened the hot dog bun drawer under the roller grill, and roaches ran out. I immediately told the lady that was sweeping the floor nearby, but all she said was "my god" and rolled her eyes, and continued sweeping. I went next door to Wendy's and walked through a few minutes later and she was still just sweeping. I guess she didn't care about the roaches on the food. read more

Not sure what they got going on over here but if you must stop here use cash. I have several miscellaneous charges that randomly post to my account under "debit card adjustment" its sneaky and no one knows what it is. Just a random charge for close to $100. Avoid this place!! read more

This particular Pilot's has decent customer service, a Wendy's and a Dairy Queen restaurant and a Cinnabon hut ...so far this has been my least favorite Pilot's though. Their showers were okay, the water pressure consistently went from strong to weak and the main bathrooms need a little TLC. I think that ALL truck stops should have a game room and truckers lounge. These guys drive long distances and even just a hour of full relaxation in a massage chair or in front of a TV with some hot food would help tremendously. So it surprised me that this location had neither, they also have a smaller truck parking area. IMO this is a gas station not a truck stop, but best believe they still have those $12 showers! This truck stop is good if ya need a hot shower , parking lot isn't big,it's off 75 good location if you are short-term off duty and get back on the highway. The staff are always friendly and polite. These employees really bust their hump to take care of all their guests. My favorite is Christina, she's always with a smile , very professional, and gets the job done! July 3rd, 2023. Since pilot renovation. This is a great location, right off I-75. I always enjoyed this Wendy's. The store has a recent update! A lot of the original staff is now no longer, sadly . But still a few wonderful faces. Matt isn't one of them. He's homopobic, and the previous manager, Christina, was absolutely best. I've been coming here for over 5 years. Since the update, it's been over 6 months, and still no shower available!!?? Calling corporate AND OSHA! fed up. The man named Rafael is a doers kind of man. I pointed out to Matt how doodoo was on the wall and other things. He just laughed at me!? I told Matt the "Manager " that with covid and germs that this is unacceptable . When I pointed it out to the man who handled it, it was obvious. Before the update, at least there's shower and the bathroom is clean. Since the update, it seems like the manager Matt doesn't do nothing and is a stuck-up privilege man. I'll be posting this on all my social media PLATFORMS. I was going to give 5 . Terribly run truck stop. I understand Covid messed up some peoples basic human interaction skills but if you work behind a counter and have to converse with new people every other minute..maybe give at least 10% of a sh!t, it's your job. Cinnabon says it's open until 6pm. Me and 5 other people were there before. Entire trays of Cinnabon rolls will be thrown out. Staff sternly said closed is closed. The sign also said premade box's available for purchase. All the displays are still up w live warm product. This isn't about being closed. It wasn't even 6 yet. This was lazy staff that don't give two sh*ts. Piles of cinnamon rolls and vats of icing sitting out. Wasted. Or is it normal and ok for staff to have outside friends talking and hanging out while working? Maybe I'm old fashioned... read more

I stopped in here for gas on 12-28-2016. Gas was reasonably priced. Parking lot was clean. The process was very efficient. I also went inside and used the restroom. Clean. :) It was a busy place, but things were moving along. If I am back in the area, I will consider using this gas station again. read more

I normally would rate a pilot a 4 or 5 stars but the reason I am putting a 2 star on this location is because of the lady (manager) that was behind the counter at the cashier needs patience if she is going to train a new employee. She really upset a customer by telling the customer that "your not making it any easier on me trying to train the new person here" (with an attitude) and the manager training this gal was very mad at this lady that was checking out. This was rediculous and uncalled for. I was standing behind this customer in line. This manager needs to learn customer service and patience. I put down the things I was going to purchase and decided right then and there after hearing that I was not going to give her my business by treating that customer that way and embarrasing the new employee. The customer got embarrassed by what that employee (manager) said to her and she is lucky she was ahead of me. I would have told her that if she was doing her job she wouldn't push the new employee to learn the register that quickly as she looked very frustrated and about ready to walk out. I also would have told her that you dont talk to me this way since I'm buying your products and its not my or the new employees fault for your lack of patience towards the new employee!! I wouldn't blame her a bit for walking out. The bathrooms were very dirty. My hubby said the mens was probably worse then the womans. There was feces on the walls in the mens. Yea, thats pretty bad. An excellent stop for good customer service, food, and rest when traveling or just local driving. Clean store and restrooms. Not only is it a great place to stop when traveling but I give it 5-stars for excellent management. Stopped for gas on way back to Florida from vacation 12/15/18. Left my phone in restroom not realizing it until 3 hours down I-75. Called store 484 and spoke to Rocky in maintenance first then to Erin Dalmolina, store manager on duty who told me not to hurry they have phone and will send it to me. Shocked it was still there but happy to hear the good news. 3 days later I had my phone in hand just as Erin said with a nice Christmas card inside. Erin went the extra mile to assure excellent customer service! Thank you Erin, Rocky, and all staff at Pilot Travel Center 484 in Ocala!
