One of the best Ramen places in Ocala, as backed by popular consensus. Thoroughly enjoyable, the shoyu and the chicken ramen have been absolutely stellar. The grilled chicken is charred to perfection, and served along with the seasoned broth (that undergo an 8-hr stew process), bean sprout, soy egg, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, corn and green onions sprinkled on top - you have a heavenly mixture of all that is delightful in a bowl. The service has always been superb the three times that we've visited, and the ambiance is clean, relaxing, and reminiscent of a Japanese ramen house with the the maneki neko cat decor. Its decor is pleasant and super clean. I believe that our waitress was perhaps the owner of this restaurant. She was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Had fried dumpling appetiser and spring rolls, easy and quick, since it was our first time there we had lots of questions. Service was abysmally slow and there were only 3 occupied tables in the restaurant; plus 2 two-go orders. Service went down hill when I asked the young waiter to remove the appetiser plates. Empty-handed at the time, he said he would be back for them, like he could not be bothered with such triviality. 5 min later we still were waiting for him to remove them so we could order more food. Then 10 minutes later another person came by and took the plates and 5 minutes later that person returned to take our order. 2 chicken ramen and 2 shrimp ramen, simple order. Lacked flavor and was lukewarm when it arrived. Won't be back, I do not recommend this place. read more

Salmon poke quality was less than mediocre. Even Publix salmon is far better quality than this place. Very disappointing. Bought two Damon poke bowls and a tonkotsu ramen. Husband isn't a picky eater and he forced himself to eat the ramen so that's telling. We couldn't finish the poke bowls because it wasn't good at all. Employees were really nice and atmosphere was welcome which was fantastic but food quality was not good. If you know what good ramen and poke bowls are really like, go elsewhere. The broth for each was very flavorful with the pork having a stronger flavor. The noodles were done well . My shrimp and my wife's pork were excellent. I finished mine completely. My wife took a portion home. After her broth cooled in the refrigerator it was gelatinous. This indicates the broth was not a simple can of broth. It was the good stuff. The service was wonderful.
