First, let me say my review doesn't include the providers. I have only ever been treated with respect and kindness by them. However, I have gone from thinking they are the " greatest " to thinking I get much better service at Walmart, for a lot less money! I wonder if they got bought out by a new corporation? If I was about to really score them some very good but then there is a few that I would rate them -100% -F. Saw some of the reviews and not call people back over a severe reaction to medication that could have killed me.called the next day waited 2 days called back 2 days later still no call. I am not able to do Morphin an it off brands an family. Explained my concerns but CHRISTINA TURKNETT - F.N.P. but she would not even tack my concerns to heart. I got an increase in other mediation. No call. What i got was oh if you get hives take benadryl. ALL I wanted was to see what I was to do. But no call. They all acting like I am a druggie an needed my fix. Very very bad place. Their only interest is extracting your money by selling you harmful and useless procedures and potions and hustling you out the door asap. Their blood pressure machine always reads too high, and people have reported false positives for drugs on their degrading urine tests, as if we are drug addicts! I also second the negative comments i read on their other location forums for Dr. Schiller and male nurse June. I saw those two once each at one of their other offices. Once too many. Is there a good pain clinic? Please msg me if you know of one. We don't go to a place like this because we want to deal with suchlike but because we are in trouble, in pain. read more

On my first visit to the office None medical stuff made all sorts of mistakes with information related to schedule radiology tests. Did not fallow up with cancelation at Simon Imiging Center, and schedule me with Radiology Ltd. I had to contact Radiology myself, and asked them to intervene. To call Pain Clinic, speak with 3 different employs includindg office supervisor, Radiology Ltd, and Simon Imiging took me FIVE+ hours. After all THAT I had a migraine pain. read more

Multiple offices make getting convenient pain management appointments easy. Accommodating friendly staff, nicely appointed offices with convenient parking, informative quality care. They also offer in house out patient services. I've been with them for years with no desire to look elsewhere. read more

My mother went here as a referral from her doctor for back pain, she is 80. Sometimes, she doesn't know exactly what to do as far as swiping her credit card, or filling out paperwork etc... and the office staff are not helpful. In fact, when I have gone will her, I am appalled at how they treat patients. No hellos or good mornings or how can I help you, customer service is something you will NOT find at this office. What a waste of time and money for the copay it cost you..Dont waste your time or money with these people..They suck!!!!

I returned to Pima Pain Center against my better judgement and saw Dr Yang. First of all, she was PETRIFIED of my goofy friendly lab service dog and couldn't touch ME out of fear of my dog. On the positive side, she did order an MRI, which showed that they had been treating the WRONG THING for over a year. They just assumed I had SI joint problems and actually I have severe stenosis and vertebrae misalignment in the lumbar region. So, the first year I was under their care, I received no relief from the pain and they absolutely REFUSED to prescribe pain medication because I take a very small dose of valium for leg spasm, have been taking it at night for 20 years. When I went in for the useless nerve ablations the MA's could not start a proper IV, left me bruised and once the anesthesia went into the tissue of my hand rather than a vein. I paid for the anesthesia, but I guess, due to the incompetence of the MA's in getting a needle into my veins, I was charged for it, but never received it. Yelled "OUCH!!" several times but I guess Dr Yang didn't understand that meant I wasn't under anesthesia. I called and told them that I was "firing" them as my pain management provider. They did get me in to see Dr Annabi, who was very kind and understand and apologetic about my experiences. If they only could have found it in their practice guidelines to prescribe some sort of pain medication I would still be there. At one time I BEGGED Dr Yang for just ONE PILL aa day so that I could do some work around the house. Nope, offered Tramadol which is of no more help than Tylenol to me, and gabapentin which causes so much dizziness I have fallen several times while I was on the medication. In the end, I would say to avoid Dr Yang if you can, and insist on imaging BEFORE they start to treat you. You are going to be treated like a pill seeker, no matter WHAT, so you might as well ask for some. read more

Ive been a Pt. at OV/ PPC for about 7 yrs. Up and down service, especially during covid. They got hit too. Me recent visits have gone real well. I,m deaf and had a stroke. I let staff know I cant use the kiosks and tablets so the MA just reads the relavent stuff. However, last visit new gal on desk didnt "get it" and claimed I used tablet. Exactly..exactly wrong! Savanah, a bright and happy MA, clued her in. Savanah is underemployed. On my visits she lowers her mask, turns her head so I can hear her speaking, and fills out tablet while I.m waiting for the Doc of the month. This gal gets FIVE stars!! Shes great with HOH folks. Generally, when you go in, YOU be cheery!! Wish gal at desk Good Morning. How would like to sit at tha t desk all day with a mask on listening to us? They have family and kids that have to get off to school too! Its a two way street. They even know my name when I come in..maybe because I.m not a a PIA. When you leave, say thank you to front desk and smile! Make them remember you as the happy guy or gal! I We all have pain.. thats why were there. A lot of their Draconian rules are dictated by the DEA. High turnover with the Docs. Best left. Tina Patrick, Shannon Morgenstern, who is at a different pain place in OV.....youll still have to fill out the bs paperwork..but they will help you if you ask..they dont need to know what your mom and dad died.of..I digress. OV/PPC Ruth Brook, smart but talks too fast, and the bread from Walmart had poppy seeds on it, along with the Milton whole grain Crackers... and was tripping out urine test. Too bad, your test is too sensitive. What am I supposed to do, a forensic analysis on their food products ? LOL. Im still eating my crackers./ Yvonne....Smart and responsive Yang already reviewd. Many are rotating. TESSA..scheduling.. and alot more. Helped me get right doc, and is 'connected" Need t change appt. call her..she may be able to help with other concerns. I have been here for years and it has always been a place of mayhem, chaos and rudeness. This practice has gotten too big for the only two doctors to handle. With a lead time of 3 months for procedures is not acceptable. If you like to be herded in and out like cattle to slaughter then this IS the place for you! Forget about getting a person on the phone or call back to clear up discrepancies or medication issues. Too bad humans can't go to the Veterinarians you would get better care AND you get to see a doctor not a Nurse Practioner! Healthcare is changing with less and less QUALIFIED doctors. I have been a happy patient here at Pima Pain Center for almost three years. I find the doctors to be very honest and straightforward without the phony feeling some doctors give. You can tell they are real people who desire to help. What's more; their procedures have completely changed my life! At its worst, I couldn't sit for more than three minutes before my right leg felt like it was ON FIRE! After some epidural injections I am now able to keep my second job as an Uber driver (hours in a car) without feeling a twinge of pain. That was in 2015, and I have maintained pain free with only a booster once a year since. read more

Pima Pain Center has refused to manage my pain, I have suffered from a very chronic spine condition that has almost let me totally bedridden because the pain has been so bad. They cut my pain medicine and have over a meeting that decide the future of all of us! I am filing a formal complaint with Pima Pain Center and my case manager with Medicare!Do not use them and less you want to be in misery forever! read more

Recently moved to Tucson. Have been taking a specific pain management drug for the past several years and was looking for a local pain management doctor who was authorized to prescribe it. Called the Pima Pain Center and spoke with an intake specialist. I directly asked if this specific pain management drug could be prescribed by their doctors and I was told yes. Great! I make an appointment and have my health records faxed over. Go to the appointment a week or so later, pay my $40 copay, go into see the doctor and the first thing out of his mouth is that Pima Pain Center does not prescribe the specific medication I asked about, there is nothing they can do to help me, and that I'll need to go somewhere else. Later, called the Pima Pain Center to ask why I was misinformed by their intake specialist, and to ask for the return of my copay. I was advised that since I'd seen the doctor they could not return the copay. No apologies, no nothing. Typical outfit that puts "Our patients are our top priority" at the top of their mission statement then screws them over the first chance they get. read more

I had been coming to Pima pain center for a while. If you are going to go to this location especially or the one on Pima , be prepared to get ripped off. The people running the desk will overcharge you and not return the money. Anytime that you want to actively participate in your Healthcare instead of just doing what you are told comma you get an argument. This is a family-run business and it would be a compliment instead of in this case. Any complaints or disagreements from any patient is viewed as a disgruntled patient who was seeking pain meds. After a few visits and a lot of messed up prescriptions, samples, being overcharged and not refunded, and bad service I decided to go somewhere else. Dr Shiller said they have 16,000 patients and they can't turn anyone away but sadly they cant help the patients they have. You will have appointments all over town, You will have NO continuity of care. MR June wants to take you off medication, Dr Schiller has a God complex and simply, put every employee has their OWN agenda. FAST,FAST,FAST is their game. Money seems to the key. They rotate through staff like they have a revolving door. After 2 years I can say the most UN-Professional care around. If you want your pain and pain management to become your sloe headache every month... this is your place. I have made to feel like a drug addict. This is a review for Dr. Schiller. I have not gone back after my disturbing appointment with him. He was over an hour late. He came in the office without a quick I'm sorry for being late. It was supposed to be an appointment to discuss a procedure to help me with intense pain. He sat down, looked at the computer, and immediately started to drill down on me about my medications. Medications that have been prescribed by my wonderful physician who has taken time to build a mutually respectful relationship with me. Schiller had zero interest in me. Napoleon complex seems fitting. I could not get a word in, and he continued to speak in an inappropriate manner and volume. It was sickening. Rude staff and rude medical assistant that will speak to you with disrespect in front of other patients in the waiting room. Staff doesn't even inform new patients where to find the location on Oracle being that you have to drive up a hill around the buildings to the top in order to get to the office. Actually would not have given them one star but it would not let me post without it. The staff is very rude, they treat you like you're a drug addict from the minute you walk in. They have a ton of people waiting in the waiting room and are way overbooked. They left me in the back office for an hour. My appointment was at 2:30pm, I showed up at 2:15 and they took my payment at 2:16 pm and left me sitting there waiting with everyone else. Saw the doctor for approx. 10 minutes and then he walked me out to the front to book the next appoint. in four weeks. I don't think so. I'm going to broadcast it to everyone that I know that this place is a joke. Don't waste your time or money. read more
