Having the exact one I wanted was great and I left a very happy customer. Quality: These are very well made and I've never been disappointed as a customer of 11 years off and on over the years. Value: Very very affordable. Picked up a great Minecraft piñata for $30. You'll pay this for a a cheesy/mass produced piñata half the size at a party store. Overall: I've been coming here off and on for 11 years. You don't need to look anywhere else. There is no better place to go for piñatas and Mexican candy. Pro Tip: With enough notice they can custom make one. Be sure to check their hours as they are closed Wednesdays and open a little later.

Absolutely the best!!! Make sure you give them a couple weeks notice for custom orders. My daughter loves piñatas- a family tradition for decades. We had the Chapman Mascot made for her MBA graduation & it was perfect! Soooo thankful!

My 10 year old daughter wanted Yatta the Pinanta from the Roblox game, Dandy's World. It's not really available anywhere, but they were willing to help us try and create in within our budget. They used the colors on their standard large piñata . They said people usually will get a large paper plate to put on the face for decoration. They couldn't print anything because the diameter was 15 inches.. So after the colors were added to match the cartoon character, she gave us extra tissue paper, and we added on our own the eyes and mouth (on the face) and hair (on the back and small details). My daughter was thrilled. What was most amazing about the piñata was its durability. I had 30 kids up to age 14 hitting this piñata multiple times each. The last round we even let them take turns hitting it without blindfolds. The kids tried the tactic of hitting it at the top., but it was very well anchored and reinforced. Very well made piñata.. I highly recommend.

We had the best piñata from this store. Our friend referred us to this place for my son's 8th birthday. The piñata was huge and served us well because we had 20+ second graders and older boys take several turns hitting it before it even cracked. At one point I had to manually come pull the piñata apart because we were running out of time. Talk about a success! It stores a massive amount of candy- everyone walked away a winner and we got lots of compliments from friends. Thank you Piñatas Villafan, we are fans!! read more

My go-to place for a piñata. I always get the 'star' bc they are always readily available and well made. The owners speak English and are very helpful. Besides the stars and sports balls, the rest, like the cartoon characters are very fake and I know the kids would be embarrassed if it. The stars are $18 and the best piñata to get there. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Reasonable prices. Can see piñatas being made in the back which is super cool. If they don't have what you want they can custom make one for you. They can also fill party balloons for you (for a few of course). People were nice read more

I have been going here for a few years and will continue to. Every time I need a piñata, I know I can count on them. Not only do the piñatas look good, but they also take a good beating before they start breaking. This time I needed a black and red star and they came through. I called them a week in advance and ordered it over the phone. I was able to pay for it over the phone as well. When I picked it up I remembered that I needed a piñata stick and she was able to make me one that matched the piñata in like two minutes. I'm not kidding! I paid $30 for the piñata and it took a while for the teenagers that play baseball/softball to break it. read more

Found this little hidden spot on Yelp because I needed a last minute piñata and didn't feel like going to party city like I usually do. I was really glad I found this place! Their piñatas are WAY better quality than what you'll find at Party city and really affordable! They are authentic Piñatas. None of that "pull string" stuff. They also do custom ones! So if you want a custom one they could have it ready within a week. I wanted a Pac-Man one but since I went on the day off I didn't find any. I did however find a Mario which my nephew loved! It took a beating! And still held itself together for enough time for all the kiddos to get a wack. This will definitely be my piñata spot from now on, and it should be your new spot too! read more

Second year buying my grandbaby's bday pinatas with them. They have the best pricing in OC and a variety of designs to choose from but best of all they will work with you if you have a specific design in mind to recreate it. I appreciate that their turnaround time is very fast as well. I suggest placing your order at least 2 weeks in advance though since they can get very busy. I ended up buying some candies & fillers here too since pricing was great, didn't have to drive to LA for it. read more

I last minute needed some type of Sanrio piñata for a 1 year old bday party. I did call ahead not seeing what it would look like. And I hate to be a bad reviewer and I love to support a small business but this was pretty bad. My older siblings laughed and I laughed when my boyfriend picked this up and showed me. I was luckily able to fix it myself because there was no way I was showing the kids that. But the pinata didn't even compare to the character. cinnamoroll is a chunky dog, with a tail, and big floppy ears, small eyes, and small baby arms and feet. They gave me cinnamoroll from five nights of Freddy . The eyes are huge. The arms and the ears look like bandaged. The arms are square??????? what even is that. there should've been at least frill, it looks so bare. And there was just 2 big holes in the back, no candy cover so it could've looked at least a little nice beforehand. I know we're suppose to beat it up, but cinnamoroll looked beat up already when we got her, she went through something. The people were nice over the phone, but they could've tried a little more. read more

If you need a piñata don't bother looking anywhere else. The artistry in these piñatas are the best I have ever seen. The in store piñatas are very well made and look great. My daughter loved the Dino she got for her birthday. The custom ones are on a whole other level. Great people who care about the customers needs. One day I called the store looking for a specific piñata. She immediately texted me pictures, quickly answered all my questions, and was completely transparent about pricing. Since then, she's helped me a few more times via text. I really appreciate how personable she is--always quick to respond, friendly, and providing excellent customer service. I also love this store because their prices are extremely competitive--often lower than the LA party district! Their piñatas are well-built and high quality, so it just doesn't make sense to drive to Los Angeles when I can get better deals here. The store also has a huge variety of candy, party items, and of course, piñatas. If you're looking for something custom-made or specific, they can definitely make it happen. What I value most is their honesty and fairness. Don't hesitate to walk in and ask questions--they're upfront, transparent, and genuinely care about helping you. I've been to other shops where you barely get acknowledged, but not here! Every visit feels welcoming. This place has earned a lifelong customer in me. The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

This place makes great pinatas. I'm so happy to have found this place through a friend. She always orders pinatas from them for her parties. The Olaf and Ninja Turtle that she ordered were over 3 feet tall. All the kids at the party loved the pinatas and they had so much fun hitting them. The pinatas are well made and they took many rounds of hitting just to break it. Recently, I ordered a castle and it turned out great. It was so big. I ended up using it as a photo prop for the guests to take pictures with it before hitting it. I recommend placing an order 3-4 weeks in advance. read more

I've been coming to this family-owned piñata shop for over 10 years now and can't believe I've never left a review! Hands down, this is the best place in Orange County to get piñatas. They offer unbeatable prices and an amazing selection, plus the sweetest family behind the business. They're always well-stocked with tons of options, but if you don't find exactly what you're looking for, they'll happily custom-make a piñata to bring your vision to life.
