It was my first time coming into this dulceria. I had such a great experience and my intention was to only look as I planned to make my little goody baggies for my nephews birthday. However, within minutes I got a cart and determined I was going to get my selection from here. They have so many options! The aisles are very clean and the prices are clear, so my biggest struggle was choosing which candies I wanted to take because they are all so good! The prices are very fair. When I checked out, the gentleman was so kind and boxed my items up in a huge carton and asked if I found everything okay. He even offered I pay by zelle so that I wouldn't get an additional charge on my card. Once I paid he walked me to my car and helped me load the huge box of candies. What incredible service. La Central Dulcería is the place to go for a craving and parties! The store is really clean and organized, you can buy anything you need for a party or yourself to have on hand at home. We found this store on TikTok and immediately had to come down, we came from Azusa and let me tell you the 45 minute drive was worth it. The gentlemen who helped us check out were very helpful from being informative about the products to boxing us up and sending us on our way!! They were also nice enough to box up our ice cream with dry ice to keep the ice cream from melting, my goodness I just couldn't believe how good our experience was here. We chose which ice creams we wanted to try, they give you an empty box to build your own box which is also part of the fun here. The prices are super good from the snacks, candy, to the ice cream and trinkets. If you're going for ice cream I recommend coming in to mix and match your ice creams to try out which flavors you like best then come back and spend less by buying the whole case! Overall I give this place 5 stars for being so convenient, affordable, and family owned! read more

Finding a story with candies for a party is hard to come by now and days! Especially Mexican candies in bulk so the moment I walked into this place I was amazed at the mass variety of candies. They have so many options it was so nostalgic. They also have party supplies such as plates, napkins and utensils. You also have many ice cream options that seemed to be in bulk as well but I didn't really double check. Customer service was great as well. Been coming here for nearly 10 years and it's only gotten better every time I return. There's a handful of dulcerias in the area but this one and another are my personal favorites. The staff friendly and I never feel uncomfortable when I'm there. The variety in candy, piñatas, and supplies is more than fair and they're always updating their stock. I always come here and today I had car trouble. The owners saw that I was struggling and were being rude to kick me out of the parking lot. After my dad got there to help me they were rude to him and told him he need to move the car they didn't care how but to move it even if he need to push it. After that the owner with blond hair came out as well a couple times. So did the first guy they just kept harassing us even though they knew that we were having car trouble and we were trying to get out of there as quickly as possible. Went in and was surprised at all the Mexican candy options they had.They have various piñata options as well i just wanted to keep filling up my cart with goodies.i was offered help by a gentlemen i didn't catch his name but seemed to be like the owner of the spot,he was nice and helped me decide on some of the stuff i got.At the end i was able to get most of the stuff for the kids goodies bags as well as they also have toy options and some are light up toys which is great for kids.My daughter loved her Moana piñatas which made me happy..I will definitely be stopping here again for next birthday! read more

Five stars all the way if u like paletas, Mexican candy and and alot of other goodies this is your place alot of the lower level spots that sell all these things they most likely purchase their items from here u can see when u come in and walk isles they have low prices and you can get your favorite stuff wholesale mexican candy etc. Another thing I picked up from is that this place is clean they sanitize but from all the good stuff my favorite from this place is the service definitely A1 service the Owner is a very cool and humble man Mr.Francisco we need more people like him in the community so don't forget to stop by even just to check it out it's a gem and it's in the downtown district it comes highly recommended and that is rare if u read my reviews u know I'm always having bad luck with 1star places lol! read more

SUCH a fun store! They have soo many uniquely crafted popsicle/paletas. They're cute for snap or insta, like very picture worthy! Also the store in general has great prices, way cheaper than a grocery store for ice, candy, chips. They have tons of adorable piñatas, cheaper than party city and way better selection. If you give them time in advance they can probably get you a piñata you want with notice. They have long wall of refrigerators filled with ice cream as if you were at an ice cream truck. These people sell to all the local ice cream trucks and even sell to some stores...so they have a huge selection. read more

This place is dope. It's by downtown Santa Ana, but it has its own parking lot. It's really clean and there is a huge variety of candy, chips, ice cream, and other snacks. The best part is that it's cheap. I like to get a variety of Mexican candies here and flex on my Mexican friends.
